'Fear? Fear?! You think a being like feels fear!!!'

A look of pure rage crossed Khaic's purple face as he held his hand out, telekinetically pulling the blade to him. He was going to show this stupid little upstart...

He was a BLOODKNIGHT! A prominent force in the queen's army! The re suggestion that soone like this could cause him fear—

Krak!

"Why don't we fight without weapons? Oh, and don't worry. I won't use Terio's skull against you." Nick smiled as the fragnts of Khaic's recently crushed blade fell to the ground.

'Without weapons? So you want to face a person twice your size in hand-to-hand combat?!' A wide grin ford across the archdemon's face as he took up the offer.

Even with the stark rise in Nick's power, this fight was over now. Maybe he would have stood a chance had he relied on the strength of the Fang. However, it was quite clear who the superior fighter was—

Bam!

Blood flew from Khaic's body as he was suddenly jerked back. He had no ti to perceive his armor piercing his stomach or the fact he was suddenly flying backwards at a speed surpassing lightning because Nick was already behind him.

Bam!

Nick sent a vicious elbow to the back of Khaic's neck, slamming him into the ground. Before he even had ti to taste dirt, the demon felt an intense pressure form around his neck.

Gritting his teeth, Khaic pulled and clawed at Nick's arms, trying to create just enough space so that he could activate his helt. However, Nick's vice grip was far too strong.

'No! No no no no!! I am– I- I'

"AAAGHHHH!!!" Khaic scread as he tore at Nick's arm, prying for any kind of opening.

To his surprise, after a few seconds one had ford; just a small one but more than enough to summon his helt on his head. The second it ford around him, Khaic could feel all the pressure around his neck disappear.

Forcing himself up to stand, he turned around with another smile as he expected the upstart to be nothing short of terrified. Instead, he was stretching after unequipping his armor.

"You- you mock ?!" Khaic scread with pure vitriol as he shook with rage.

Shrugging, Nick said, "You mock yourself."

Then he leaped toward Khaic, his rising fist barely visible to the bloodknight even as it was crashing into his armor. The strike hit him square in the chest, knocking him back 100s of yards as the plating of his armor shattered.

A huge boom resounded sowhere ahead of him, followed by a huge dustbowl. Knowing that Destruction was approaching him, Khaic focused all of his will into teleporting. Despite that magic being a simple application he's used for thousands of years, in this mont the concept eluded him.

His eyes flashing with rage, Khaic raised his arms into an x as he summoned a barrier around himself. This barrier was easily 10x his defense, so it would be impossible for it to be broken—

Bam!

Nick's fist swung into the barrier, which imdiately cracked. However, it had still survived the first attack. This gave Khaic all the ti he needed for his next plan.

Focusing all of the dark energy around him into himself, Khaic prepared to use his Ultimate Skill [Maelstrom of Death].

An ultimate skill was the absolute peak of what a fighter could use. Unlike other skills which gave so minor buff or a slightly stronger attack, Ultimate Skills were different. Although they required an insane amount of energy, the resulting strike was more than worth it.

Khaic's Ultimate Skill dealt damage equal to 5,000% of his attack, as well as inflicting the [Decay] debuff, which greatly lowers defense, movent speed, and attack.

Smiling when his barrier fell, Khaic sent all that built-up energy directly to the king. He had proven to be a real challenge, but like all beings, he would fall to death.

"Hey, weren't you supposed to keep alive? You're lucky you're so weak!" Nick called through the fog of death, simply tanking its damage without much thought as his passive aura dealt with the status effect.

'This... this is simply impossible!' Khaic thought as Nick's fist connected with his face, shattering his helt.

Pure fear crossed his face for the first ti as madness began taking over. What stood across the bloodknight wasn't so re human or even a king.

This malice, this power... it was far beyond even his mories of the [King of the Cosmos]. As he gazed up at Nick, blinded by the darkness of his shadows, he understood what lay before him for the first ti.

An amalgamation of all the terrors in the cosmos. A position that rose far past a simple king or even an ender of realities. What stood across from him was a Walker taking his first step.

"I thought I said no skills too. Oh well."

The demon glanced across from him for a second, looking at that screen from earlier. So sort of information on it made him smile.

Then in the next instant, Khaic was suddenly surrounded by swords. Thousands upon thousands of those shadowy swords had vanquished foes far stronger than him for millennia.

In a last-ditch, furious attempt at survival, Khaic did sothing he had never done before. Not for his queen or even her master.

A soft groan of pain left his lips as he dug one knee into the ground. Khaic quickly stifled that groan as he completed his kneel and pleaded.

"P- please forgive ! I- I'll join your army! I'll lead it to victory, just have rcy!!!"

Nick rely cocked his head to the side as he reached his hand out to squeeze Khaic's head. Because Khaic had once been big, even when he knelt, he was almost at eye level with Nick.

"rcy? Yes, I believe I rember you said sothing about that. How every race is confined by the blight that is rcy."

Pain flared through Khaic's mind as an unimaginable pressure squeezed against his skull. The next second, that pressure completely eased as Nick sighed.

"I suppose I fall under that category. I'm only human, after all."

Even as Nick confird his willingness to be rciful, Khaic's soul could do nothing but plumt. All that awaited him was impending darkness. Not servitude.

"Therefore, I'll leave your physical body intact when I send you to Oblivion. This is a much bigger grace than I gave your footsoldiers. Maybe you'll even survive. If not..."

The last thing Khaic saw before his mind was crushed was an evil smile crossing Nick's face. "Well, you know how us endless horrors can be."
