After Rong Xingyu hearing that, he couldn’t help rubbing lightly against his brother’s hand. His eyes under the soft light shone like black obsidian.

"I know. I’m sorry, Big Brother, for making you worry."

"And your Fourth Brother too!" Rong Zishan quickly added from the side, raising his hand.

Rong Xingyu burst out laughing.

He looked at the two of them and asked, "By the way, Big Brother, Fourth Brother, have you eaten yet?"

The dining table nearby was so spotless that it looked like a mirror. Could it be that they had been waiting for him this whole ti without eating?

Even though it wasn’t too late, Rong Zhenqiao didn’t want Rong Xingyu to tire himself out cooking again, so he nodded.

"We’ve eaten already. Xiaoyu, go rest early. I’ll head back first."

Just as he stood up, a sharp pain suddenly shot through his stomach.

Rong Zhenqiao’s expression changed instantly as he pressed a hand against his abdon.

Seeing that, Rong Xingyu imdiately realized his brother must not have eaten anything yet.

With how busy he was, his stomach problems must be acting up again.

Rong Xingyu gently pushed him back into his seat, rolled up his sleeves, and headed for the kitchen.

"Big Brother, Fourth Brother, please wait a little while. It’ll be quick."

Soon, he brought out two light yet beautifully arranged dishes.

In front of each of them was also a bowl of yam porridge.

As Rong Zhenqiao slowly sipped the fragrant, creamy porridge, he listened to his younger brother’s gentle voice chattering beside him.

"Big Brother, since your stomach isn’t well, you must rember to eat on ti. Ask Auntie to make more porridge and soups that are good for digestion. You really can’t skip als, okay? And you too, Fourth Brother..."

The warm porridge soothed his stomach like never before.

Feeling content, Rong Zhenqiao suddenly thought of sothing. He pulled out his phone and snapped a picture of the half finished bowl.

Almost at the sa ti, his business partners saw a new post on their social feed.

[ Rong Zhenqiao: My little brother made this porridge for . It’s so delicious :) ]

...

"Stop scrolling through social dia! Hurry up, everyone! Our costus have finally arrived!"

Class monitor Zeng Youzhen and a few mbers of the arts committee ca into the rehearsal room, their arms full of large bags and called out excitedly to Rong Xingyu and the others.

After replying to Dr. Ding’s ssage, Rong Xingyu put away his phone.

When he walked over, one of the arts committee mbers, who had been watching him closely, raised an eyebrow teasingly.

"Were you chatting with your girlfriend?"

Rong Xingyu froze and blinking his eyes in confusion.

"Huh?"

W-what girlfriend?!

Zeng Youzhen who was standing beside him quickly nudged the girl who had just spoken with her elbow and said disapprovingly, "What are you doing? Don’t be so nosy, that’s not nice!"

Then Zeng Youzhen turned back to Rong Xingyu with a knowing look, her expression full of teasing curiosity. "Wait, don’t tell it’s your boyfriend?"

Rong Xingyu: "..."

He was just chatting with Dr. Ding! That was all!

...Speaking of costus, the ones for their stage play this ti were all specially made with a big budget approved by the class committee.

Especially the few costus that were going to be used during the performance Zeng Youzhen had even hired people to handcraft them which putting in a lot of effort and care.

And it really showed every outfit’s design and material were of top quality.

But the most eye catching one was the gown they finally took out from the largest package.

The gown’s skirt was so wide that both Zeng Youzhen and the entertainnt committee mber had to hold it together to show the full shape.

It was a European style vintage princess gown.

The pure white and champagne colors shimred softly against each other, with satin fabric that glistened faintly with tiny sparkles making it look elegant and noble.

The craftsmanship was exquisite and intricate.

The skirt had multiple layered folds and it was decorated with large beautiful bows.

Looking higher up, the waist was perfectly fitted with overlapping ribbons and lace details.

The most important part was... it was an off shoulder dress.

All the boys around were dumbfounded as they stared at the dress.

Zeng Youzhen proudly held up the hem and asked, "Well? Isn’t it beautiful?"

But the boys started comnting one after another.

"Wouldn’t wearing that be super tiring?"

"Wow, that looks like such a pain to put on."

"Yeah, good thing I didn’t get picked to wear that."

"You can’t even go to the bathroom in that thing!"

Zeng Youzhen and the entertainnt committee mber: "..."

Ugh! This typical straight guys. They don’t know a thing about beauty!

Rong Xingyu’s face instantly turned red the mont he saw the gown, because he knew he was the one who had to wear it.

"This is way too much," he muttered in embarrassnt.

"Not at all! Xingyu, you’ll look amazing in it," Zeng Youzhen and the entertainnt committee mber said, cheerfully placing the gown in his arms.

The skirt was so big that Rong Xingyu could barely hold it all at once.

He had to awkwardly use his other hand to lift the hem so it wouldn’t drag on the floor.

"Do I really have to try it on right now?" he asked hesitantly.

"Of course! Try it first, if anything doesn’t fit, we’ll have ti to make adjustnts," Zeng Youzhen replied eagerly.

Rong Xingyu: "..."

As Rong Xingyu walked toward the dressing room at the back of the rehearsal hall with the gown in his arms, Zeng Youzhen and the entertainnt committee mber watched him go while giggling mischievously and rubbing their hands together in excitent.

Not long after Rong Xingyu went in, Zeng Youzhen heard soone knocking on the door from outside the rehearsal hall.

"Yue Yeqiao, why are you so late?" she complained as she went to open it.
