Nangong Xi woke up again in the afternoon of the second day.

At this mont, she was lying in a simple house.

The house was built of wood, and the windows were also pasted with a layer of paper.

At a glance across the entire house, there was only a bed, an old wardrobe, and a table missing a corner.

With a "creak", the door opened from the outside to the inside.

A sturdy woman with a fat face, wearing coarse clothes, walked in.

In her hands she held a bowl, from which drifted a bitter sll that could be slled from far away.

The woman carefully ca to the bedside, looked towards the head of the bed, and saw the girl staring at her with wide eyes.

She put the bowl on the table, excitedly ran to the doorway, facing outside shouting loudly: "Husband, co quickly, Hua'er is awake!"

After shouting, she ran back into the room, sat on the edge of the bed, and said to Nangong Xi: "Hua'er, you've been sleeping for a whole day and night, does anything feel uncomfortable? Tell mother."

Nangong Xi was puzzled. She had lived twenty-six years, and had also been single for twenty-six years. She hadn't seen her parents before, let alone talked about love. She was a true orphan.

"Xiao Hua, what's wrong with you? Why don't you speak?"

The voice of the woman sounded from above her head again.

Nangong Xi thought she was having hallucinations, so she fiercely pinched her thigh.

The intense pain rushed directly to her brain, and she unconsciously bared her teeth.

In Madam Gong's eyes this was simply hideous, and she was about to go out to find soone.

At this mont, a middle-aged man with stubble all over his face and a sturdy figure walked in.

Behind him followed a tall young man with tender face.

Seeing the people co in, Madam Gong seed to have found the backbone.

"Husband, co and see, Xiao Hua is not talking!"

"Wife, don't worry first."

After saying that, facing the young man behind, he said: "Xiao Nan Gong, go get Old Man Qi, tell him your sister woke up."

"Yes, dad." After speaking, he ran out like wind.

"Hua'er, tell your dad, were you scared? Don't be afraid, we're already ho, no one can hurt you again." Dad Gong looked at Xiao Hua Gong tenderly and said.

At this ti, Nangong Xi looked at the sunlight outside, then thought of the pain from her thigh just now.

She wouldn't have transmigrated like in those novels, right? Moreover it was a soul transmigration, and she beca the daughter of this couple.

If it was really transmigration, then the original owner should have been kicked to death in the dungeon, causing her to co alive again.

So she hesitantly pointed at the bearded man and sturdy woman, and asked respectively: "Are you my dad? Are you my mom?"

The two people across from her were both stunned, looked at each other, and Dad Gong asked Xiao Hua Gong doubtfully:

"You don't recognize and your mother?"

Nangong Xi pretended to think for a mont, then shook her head at them.

"My head really hurts."

Hearing that her daughter had a headache, Dad Gong imdiately comforted:

"If your head hurts then don't think about it. I already asked your brother to get Doctor Qi, he'll co right away."

After a while, Gong Xiaonan who was told to get Old Man Qi ca back with him.

Old Man Qi was not very tall, sowhat thin, but he looked very energetic.

Seeing the old man co, Dad Gong quickly stood up to let him take his seat, and said to him: "Old Man Qi, my Hua'er says her head hurts and she doesn't even recognize and her mother, please take a look at what's going on."

"Don't worry, old will take a look now."

The old man walked to the bedside, and said to Xiao Hua Gong on the bed: "Little girl Hua, stretch out your hand and let this old man take your pulse."

Nangong Xi listened, took out her hand from under the quilt.

Old Man Qi grabbed her wrist, took her pulse for a while, then pressed around Nangong Xi's head until she called out in pain before stopping.

After thinking for a while, he turned to Dad Gong and Madam Gong:

"From the pulse, there doesn't seem to be a big problem with little girl Hua. Mainly it's the head that probably has blood clots, causing her to temporarily lose her mory. She needs to recuperate for a period of ti."

"Then when will my Hua'er regain her mory?"

"That's hard to say. Maybe one month, maybe never."

"Ah?" The Gong family was dumbfounded.

Madam Gong's eyes turned to Xiao Hua Gong on the bed, looking at her familiar yet confused eyes.

No matter if she lost her mory or not, she was still her beloved daughter whom she doted on since young.

"It's okay, it's just not recognizing people, not becoming dumb. She'll rember it later, or it doesn't matter if she can't rember. Mother and your dad can support you for a lifeti." Madam Gong said to Nangong Xi.

Sitting to the side, Dad Gong also kept nodding his head in agreent.

"Thank you mother, thank you dad."

Dad Gong, who was sitting to the side stroking his beard, laughed out and said: "Look, our Hua'er doesn't rember anything but is still the obedient little daughter to her parents."

"Wife, go reheat the dicine for our child to drink. Also make her so food. She hasn't eaten for a whole day and night, how can she stand it."

Just after finishing speaking, Nangong Xi's stomach rumbled loudly.

"Oh my, let quickly go make it." After saying so, she picked up the dicine bowl next to her and hurriedly went out.

Old Man Qi at the side walked to the only desk in the room that could be used for writing.

He said to Dad Gong: "I'll prescribe so dicine to dispel blood clots. Have her drink it morning and evening once simred. Try it for a few doses first."

"South kid, co with to the dicine hall to get the ingredients later."

"Yes, Elder Qi."

The young man was curious so he walked to the bedside of his sister.

"Sis, you really can't rember anything? Then doesn't that an I don't need to pay back the money I borrowed from you?"

Xiao Hua Gong, uh, this little brother doesn't seem very smart.

Behind them, Dad Gong fiercely slapped the back of Gong Xiaonan's head and scolded: "You little rascal, borrowing money from your sister again to go out drinking? Do you believe I'll beat you to death or not."

Gong Xiaonan imdiately ran for the exit, shouting while running:

"Don't say it so harshly, I was borrowing it. And what's wrong with a man drinking so alcohol."

Dad Gong glared fiercely, and was about to chase to hit Gong Xiaonan.

From the side ca Old Man Qi's voice.

"I say, Old Man Gong, can you control your temper for once? Stop nitpicking Little South all day. He's such a simple child. If you don't want him, give him to instead."

"Simple my foot. He's shaless, just like his mother's character."

"What's the sa as my character? What are you talking about?"

"No, nothing. Just feed Hua'er her dicine." Saying so, he sent off Old Man Qi to the courtyard entrance, and gave his dical consultation fee together with money to buy dicine.

On this end, Nangong Xi was fed a bowl of extrely bitter dicine by Madam Gong. After a bowl of millet porridge, she fell back asleep.
