The next day.

School was over, and I went ho together with Yuri. But not to our own hos—today, we had the sa destination, hers.

Using her small hand to hold the doorknob, Yuri stood in front of .

"Please, co in..."

"Excuse ."

I took off my shoes, and the cold floor could be felt through my feet. After placing them on the rack beside , the atmosphere inside the house felt a bit quiet.

"...Your parents are out?"

"My mom’s still working... Around this ti, the only one ho is my little sister."

A sigh of relief slipped from my mouth. Yesterday, I was excited to visit, but I wasn’t so dumb as to forget that the one I was visiting was a girl’s house.

After what happened with Yona, I didn’t want sothing like that to happen again. Whether intentional or not.

"You have a little sister?"

"Um. She should be ho already. Do you... want to call her?"

"Ah, if that’s the case, then it’s fine. I don’t want to trouble her."

I was kind of curious about her little sister, but since my purpose here was just to drop by for a bit, there was no need to bother her.

After that, Yuri invited to her room.

"I forgot to clean it yesterday. So... I’m sorry if it looks ssy."

"Don’t worry about it."

The first thing I did was wave my hand casually. As fellow gars, there was nothing to be embarrassed about. I understood just how hard it was to fight off the laziness to clean your room.

But the mont Yuri opened her door, I instantly realized I had been lied to.

ssy? My foot almost tripped because I was too stunned by the sight of her room.

"...Is this really your room?"

"...Yes?"

The word amazing wasn’t enough to describe it. Because honestly, Yuri’s room was every gar’s dream room.

Sure, the collection of physical gas she had wasn’t as big as what I used to own. But that wasn’t the strong point of her room. It was the rchandise.

From dozens of posters of famous gas on the wall to high-quality action figures neatly displayed in glass cases. I almost doubted my own eyes seeing all this.

Yuri wasn’t just a gar anymore. She was the queen.

"Can I live here?"

"Wh-Why?"

"What kind of person would want to return to the mortal world after witnessing heaven?"

"...Thank you?"

Even Yuri’s computer wasn’t just so basic high-spec machine. She didn’t forget to install RGB lighting for decoration either. Everything was glowing.

...When will I ever get a room like this? My luck was terrible enough back then because my dad never let put up posters. And now, all the gas I used to own are gone.

Can I cry?

"...A-Anyway, please have a seat first. Um, would you like sothing to drink?"

"I don’t mind anything. But if you have tea, I’ll take that."

"Alright then... Please wait a mont. I’ll go make so."

Saying that, Yuri’s back moved out of sight as she left. My gaze returned to her room.

She told to sit... but where? Besides her bed and her gaming chair, there wasn’t any other place.

...Since the bed wasn’t exactly the best spot to put my butt on during a first visit, I decided to go with the second option.

"Wow..."

I had no idea chairs could be this comfortable. The ache in my back vanished completely. I was sure that if I closed my eyes now, I wouldn’t be able to open them again.

Since the chair had wheels, I played around a bit by rolling to each corner of Yuri’s room. My admiration didn’t stop as I took in her stuff.

Also, I found a stack of PlayStation consoles under her desk. Didn’t she once say she preferred gaming on PC? So why were these here? Don’t tell ... they’re just for display?

Then I heard footsteps. It was strange how fast she was back, but it turned out it wasn’t Yuri. It was soone else.

"Big sis, you’re back? Perfect timing, I’m stuck on that ga you recomnded yesterday. Can you... help ?"

It was a girl. Not as tall as Yuri, but her facial features were quite similar. Wearing twin tails as her hairstyle, she looked like soone easy to get along with. The opposite of her older sister.

The corners of my lips lifted.

"Hello."

"A boy!?"

"That’s right. Nice to et you, I’m your sister’s friends. My na’s Ren. And you are?"

Her mouth opened, but she didn’t answer. All she did was tremble as she backed away with a face full of fear.

Then, she ran off.

"My sister’s kidnapping a boy in her rooOOOom!"

So Yuri was the villain all along!? Who was she kidnapping!?

A commotion followed from the other side of the house. It sounded like Yuri was trying to defend herself from her sister’s false accusations.

After waiting a few more minutes, the sound of footsteps ca again. This ti, it was really Yuri. She returned carrying two cups of tea on a tray, her expression gloomy.

"I’m sorry, Ren... My little sister really likes to cause chaos. I-I’ll scold her later."

"I don’t mind. She likes gas too?"

"...A little."

Placing the tray on a small table beside the bed, I thanked her and stood up to grab my cup. My throat was dry, so it felt pretty refreshing.

"In that case, can I go ahead and see the ga you made?"

"Alright..."

Turning on the computer, Yuri’s fingers skillfully pressed the keyboard.

Sipping my tea, watching her from behind, I felt like a boss waiting for the results from a subordinate.

After she clicked a file, the computer screen changed... and the title screen of the ga Yuri made appeared.

My eyebrows lifted.

"Visual novel?"

There were pictures of 2D characters on the screen. Since it looked a bit off, it was probably AI-generated art. There was one female character, surrounded by several male characters.

"You... don’t like it?"

"It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s just that I rarely play gas from this genre. I’m more into action gas. I thought you were the sa, Yuri."

"I don’t have a specific genre I like ... maybe. If a ga has an interesting story, that’s a big plus. I-I made a ga in this genre because it’s easier to create, as a beginner."

I’ve heard visual novels are light and friendly for older computers. If Yuri enjoys them, maybe I should try playing one soti?

"Now I really want to play it."

"Please, have a seat again."

The feeling of using a high-spec PC was truly sothing else. The screen was smooth, and there were no annoying lags that usually pop up when I move the cursor.

"By the way, what’s the title?"

"Fantasy Shoujo."

A Japanese-sounding title, huh? I didn’t understand what it ant, but it sounded cool. Refocusing on the ga, I started playing.

Until ... about an hour and a half passed.

At first, I was reading through a few paragraphs with not much focus, but the deeper I got into the story, seconds turned to minutes and minutes to hours.

Finally, I reached the first ending.

Yuri imdiately spoke to , her voice filled with excitent.

"How was it, Ren?"

Honestly, I had mixed feelings.

As for the gaplay, I couldn’t really say much because it was a visual novel. It was pretty tough avoiding bad endings, and I had to retry a few tis. I did find so bugs, but nothing ga-breaking.

Then there was the story. I had to admit, it was good. Even though the beginning was a bit cliché with the protagonist dying and reincarnating into a fantasy world, everything after that was quite enjoyable to read.

The way she balanced the action and romance elents was just amazing.

But still, there was one major issue I felt I had to ask about.

"Why are most of the characters male?"

"...But I only made five male characters."

"Five is a lot if there’s only one female protagonist."

It was obvious, wasn’t it? This is what I thought all along, right? Yuri was... making a reverse harem story, wasn’t she?

No, because this is a world where gender roles are flipped, there’s no need for the word reverse in the na.

This is just a pure harem ga!
