Chapter 470 - Tianbao had returned from overseas looking very distressed. (4)

Shu Yan told Xiao Lan to buy a house in their little district. She would give her a employee discount and would loan her the money first.

She would deduct half of her inco every month. Having a house would be important for her and her daughter.

Even if her daughter had no intention to co to City Nan later, Xiao Lan could always sell the house. And, in the event that they were not able to sell the house, Shu Yan would buy it from her at market cost. Shu Yan had no problem guaranteeing that.

Owing such a large sum of money, Xiao Lan worked very hard at Shu Yan’s taking care of Shu Yan’s family. She hadn’t expected house prices to continue to go up.

The house that she had bought had already gone up 5 folds. Xiao Lan could not express how appreciative she was toward Shu Yan.

Her salary, too, was increasing but it was no match to the house price. Never mind about a house in that district, she would even have been able to buy a house in the suburb with her current inco.

“No, no need to call him. I’ll go downstairs and take a look.” Shu Yan turned and went over to the second floor. There was an exercise room before for JingJing to practice her dance and now it belonged to Xiao Bao.

“Mom.” Xiao Bao had just finished his exercise and walked over breathing heavily.

He was drenched in sweat and looked like he had been pulled out of a body of water.

“Had so water and take a break. You don’t need to learn it if it’s too hard,” said Shu Yan. Her heart ached when she saw his red and swollen knees.

She understood street dancing, but blocking was so dangerous.* Shu Yan felt that there were so many different types of street dancing and Xiao Bao could totally pick sothing easier. With this type of dancing, Shu Yan felt that her heart could stop every ti she saw him doing it.

“I’m not tired.” Xiao Bao gave her a big smile. “Mom, I really enjoy this.”

Shu Yan had nothing else to say when she saw Xiao Bao’s sparkling eyes.

JingJing finally ca ho right before dinner was ready.

JingJing was very refined at 21. She had been dancing for years and her body was well-shaped and her back straight.

“How did you do?” JingJing, unlike her parents, cared a lot about her two brothers’ grades.

Tianbao sat up straight. Compared to his open-minded parents, he was more scared of his sister.

The sa was true for Xiao Bao. They would need to be afraid of soone in the family. As neither Shu Yan nor Feng Zeyu were the stern type, being afraid of their big sister was fine as well.

“I did fine. City Nan University should not be an issue.”

JingJing glanced over at Xiao Bao and, understanding what she ant, he said, “I made it pass the preliminary, I am not so sure about the next round yet.”

JingJing nodded and said, “Mom, Dad, let go and get changed. I will be right down.”

JingJing looked much milder after she had changed into her casual clothes. She was chit chatting with her parents.

“I heard that the boy from the Wang’s is pursuing you?” Shu Yan felt gossipy.

“Who told you that?” JingJing glanced over at her two younger brothers and, seeing that they had lowered their heads, looked away from them. Holding Shu Yan’s hand, she smiled and said, “That is true. But I don’t like him.”

“He looked handso, and I heard that he is quite competent at work as well. You don’t want to give him a chance?” Shu Yan would not interfere with her children’s dating but, of course, they must have her approval before they got married.

“All fake. He’s really nothing but a scum.” They went to college together and, even though he was never in a relationship in college, he had so suggestive monts with a few schoolmates. He didn’t particularly seem interested in her back then. Now he said it was love at first sight after finding out who she was?

“Mom just feels that you should date if you et soone that you like. Don’t just work day in and day out.” JingJing was not different from Tianbao. Tianbao had found himself a little girlfriend since junior college, but JingJing had never dated ever. Shu Yan worried that her failed marriage with Ye Zhiqiang had traumatized JingJing.

“Mom......” JingJing looked at her mother helplessly. She just hadn’t t soone she liked yet. She had worried about eting soone like her dad but, after years of watching her mother being in love with Feng Zeyu, those bad mories were long gone.

“Alright. I won’t talk about it anymore. Dinner. Let’s eat. Today we are celebrating Tianbao finishing his college entrance examination.” Her daughter was just 21 years old. There was no rush.

Tianbao couldn’t wait to fly to Country C the next day along with Liu Xisheng.

Shu Yan had thought that the boy would go by himself but she felt much relieved knowing that Liu Xisheng would be going with.

The grade from the college entrance examination was released and Tianbao scored 612. He did perform at his regular level. That would be sufficient for him to get into City Nan University. But, in the end, it would be Tianbao’s decision, whether he wanted to stay and study in China or study abroad.

Shu Yan was just about to give Tianbao a call and ask him for his thoughts when Tianbao had returned from overseas looking very distressed.
