After finding out that Feng Zeyu has his own company and it made good money, Wang Ziju was so mad that she even smashed a bowl at ho.
“You didn’t hear wrong? You sure you saw him with his car? Could he have just hired soone to put on a show and that the car was a rental?” Wang Ziju was Feng Zeyu’s stepmother. In her mind, anyone who had been in prison was a goner. How could it be possible that he has his own company?
“For realz, many people saw it. Even the team lead of Nanfu Mansion’s security team addressed him as Boss Fang. Soone had looked into it. There is a security firm in the Jiangnan Building and their boss’s na is Feng Zeyu. It is said that it’s a sizeable company, making over a million yuan a year,” said Feng Zehao excitedly. “Mom, he is so rich now. What if we go and look for him......”
Days had been rough for them. Wang Ziju had retired a while back. In the past they had been supplented by Old Mr. Feng and Old Mrs. Feng’s pension but, since they had passed, Feng Jianghua had beco the solo breadwinner. The factory had not been doing well lately so he was only paid his base wage. With that inco, the family just only had enough to eat.
“What does his company have to do with you?” Feng Jianghua gave Feng Zehao a stare. “He had nothing to do with us since a very long ti ago. Go get a job and make your own money.”
That had displeased Wang Ziju, “Don’t take it out on Xiao Hao just because you are not happy. Was it his idea to not work? Why don’t you go take a look outside and see how many people are unemployed? It is his father’s fault for being up there. Look at Lao Gao’s son. One word from Lao Gao and he was able to get into the police station. Our son even had better grades than him in school and he can’t even get a job at a factory.”
“Feng Zeyu didn’t even graduate junior high school and had been in jail. Did soone help him out after his release? He was able to open up his own company and be his own boss. Xiao Hao is also my son. So why can’t he carve out his own path? I think he had just been cozy for too long,” said Feng Jianghua loudly as he slamd his hand down onto the table.
“What do you an by too cozy? When was the last ti we had at at ho? Look at Xiao Hao? He had been so hungry that he’s pale.” Wang Ziju stroked her son’s cheeks, feeling sorry for him. “That being said, if he is rich, why is he still squatting in our parents’ house? Yes, I’ll admit that I hadn’t been nice to him. I have my own son and I am not counting on him to support when I am old. But Xiao Hao is entitled to half of your parents’ house. You go look for him. I am not asking for the entire house but Xiao Hao is entitled to half of it, right? He can pay us in case or sell the house and give us half. One way or another, Xiao Hao must get half of it.”
Feng Jianghua looked at Wang Ziju dubiously. That wasn’t what she said a few years ago. As far as she was concerned, the entire house belonged to Xiao Hao. Now she was more reasonable after finding out that Feng Zeyu has money?
It wasn’t that she didn’t want the entire house; she dared not even think that.
She had been an to Feng Zeyu. She had pushed things along when others accused Feng Zeyu. She worried that Feng Zeyu would fight them over the house so she purposefully prevented him from seeing Old Mr. & Mrs. Feng one last ti before they passed away. Lo and behold, the two old monsters had also put the house under Feng Zeyu’s na. Her plan had backfired on her and she had completed offended Feng Zeyu.
After Feng Zeyu had been released, she had gone to look for Feng Zeyu behind Feng Jianghua’s back. Feng Zeyu put his hands around her neck when he saw her and the way he was looking at her? It looked like he could really kill her. She had nightmares for nights after she had returned and she never dared to go near Feng Zeyu again after that.
“I’ll go and talk to him,” said Feng Zeyu after remaining silent for a little bit. He gave his younger son a look, and sighed.
Feng Zehao was almost 30 years old and didn’t even have a girlfriend. All that because they were poor. His father’s house was worth so money and they would be able to chip in a little more and helped him get a house. At least he would be able to find himself a wife.
