Chapter 367: Shu Yan saw a big bundle of roses, at least several hundreds of them. (3)
Mother Zhang Qiang pointed out the direction to Shu Yan. It was about 500 ters west of where they were staying. Those were fine sand and, with the sun was about to set, it was perfect ti for a stroll.
Shu Yan and Feng Zeyu held hands. Feng Zeyu held Tianbao’s hand and Shu Yan held JingJing’s. The four of them walked slowly on the beach in their bare feet.
With a slight breeze and the beautiful sunset, Shu Yan felt particularly lucky. Feng Zeyu, too, felt the sa way as her. He never even dread that the day of him holding the girl that he loved along with two cute children walking on a sunset beach would co.
“Look, Mom. There’s crab.”
Tianbao pulled Feng Zeyu with him to grab the crab. Shu Yan and JingJing picked up seashells next to them. JingJing said she had to pick a lot so she could make bracelets and windchis out of them for her classmates and Duoduo.
As it began to get dark outside, the few of them returned with their hands full. The man, whom they had not seen during the day, had just returned and he greeted Shu Yan and the others awkwardly.
Shu Yan and the two kids slept on the bed and Feng Zeyu slept on the ground. They slept until the morning and headed over to the pier to get ready for their fishing trip.
Turned out Feng Zeyu and the two children were fine but Shu Yan was the one who got sea sicked. She had forgotten that although she did not sea sick in the past, but this was original owner’s first ti on a boat.
She took two pills for the sea sickness and they made her groggy. Feng Zeyu took his jacket off and placed it down on the boat so she could lie down and get so rest.
“Should we turn around and head back?” asked Feng Zeyu, worried, when he saw that Shu Yan was pale.
“No, it’s not everyday that we do this. The kids are so happy. I will be fine. I took the dicines already and will be fine in a little while.” Shu Yan switched to a more comfortable position. “I’m so sleepy. I’ll take a nap. Keep an eye out on the children.”
The boat did not sail too far and they casted the new three tis. Whether the boat boss was being nice or that the marine lives were plentiful there, they did not know. But they caught a lot of seafood.
JingJing and Tianbao had thoroughly enjoyed themselves and ran around on the bed of the boat. Feng Zeyu watched them carefully the entire ti when Shu Yan slept all the way back.
Feng Zeyu paid them the remaining amount and two packs of cigarette before the four of them headed back with their seafood.
Shu Yan still felt weak when she was walking on solid ground. Being sea sick was awful. She did not wish to ride a boat ever again in this lifeti.
They ended up taking a boat to an island close by the next day. Shu Yan took the dicines ahead of ti and felt much better this ti. She only needed to rest for a little bit after they reached the island before she felt recharged. She dug a whole and started a fire with the children while Feng Zeyu went with the fishern to catch fish and crab.
After four days, Tianbao, who used to love seafood suddenly said he wanted at. Shu Yan was delighted to hear that.
“We will be returning to City Nan tomorrow afternoon. We will have Aunty make you yummy food when we get back.” Shu Yan felt that Tianbao exercised no self-control and ruined his own appetite.
Feng Zeyu had wanted to stop him but Shu Yan stopped him. She had decided to let him learn a lesson once and for all. Everything in moderation. It doesn’t matter how good the food is, one will still get tired of it if one had too much.
On the fifth day, Feng Zeyu took the two children out to sea one more ti and caught a lot of fresh seafood. They packed them into boxes before they headed back to City Nan.
It didn’t matter whether Hu Ruixue needed more seafood, but Shu Yan must send her so. Then there were Lao Zhang and Lin Hui. She even gave so to Zhang-je. And a box for Zhang Huaxiu as well. She couldn’t eat crab so Shu Yan gave her all shrimp.
Then there were two remaining boxes for herself and Feng Zeyu.
“I don’t need any. Grandma is old and seafood is too cold for her. I can’t eat a lot myself. Why don’t you take them all? Tianbao likes them.”
“Uncle Fang, Tianbao doesn’t like these anymore.” Tianbao wrinkled his nose when he heard seafood. Having so much of them in the last few days had really deterred him.
“Okay. I will keep them here. You can just co and have them here.” Shu Yan didn’t fight him about it and had Aunty put them away.
Feng Zeyu liked that Shu Yan wasn’t too overly polite with him. That ant the two of them were close.
The happy vacation was over and it was ti to go back to work. As soon as Shu Yan arrived at the office she saw a super big bouquet of roses at the reception area, at least several hundreds of them. Who was that that had splurged like so to send so much roses at this ti? And they looked to be overseas type as well.
