The air around them twisted generating a shockwave that spread in all directions while sparks of lightning flew off. The clouds above show signs of parting while the ground below cracked.
Everyone present in Greenhill Island felt the shockwave and collision as the entire Island shook for a second.
Speed was astonished seeing their attack cancel out. Suddenly, his eyes flashed red, and before he could react an explosion mushrood right in front of his face.
The explosion triggered golden flas with high temperatures that blazed its way forward. But, Speed is quick on his feet and fast to react because of his devil fruit ability.
Before the explosion could do any actual damage, his figure flashed away and disappeared from the spot. And, reappeared hundreds of ters away from Blaize.
The explosion razed everything with 500 ters while the flas lted everything and even the ground showed signs of lting.
Since he's fast, the flas didn't damage Speed in any way. Not even his clothes showed any signs of burn. Blaize got annoyed seeing his attacks didn't do any damage.
His timing is perfect and any normal person in Speed's place would have been injured by his attack but the latter is different. 'His devil fruit power is perverted! No wonder they say he's uncatchable'
A good example is: When you swipe your finger through a candle fla. In order to feel pain, your hand has to warm up enough to feel the burn but if you move your finger fast there won't be any reaction.
Because heat must transfer from the fla into your skin. It takes a mont even for a very hot fla to transfer over enough heat to the skin.
It's the sa concept. If Speed passes through the fla in less than that amount of ti, no harm will be done to him.
Of course, Blaize's flas are different but Speed is also very fast. It's not a good find because it ans Blaize's devil fruit power is ineffective against Speed.
At least for now Blaize can't do anything to Speed with his devil fruit ability. But, he can use them to shield or defend himself.
It's ti he begins to utilize his devil fruit power differently. He has so ideas, let see how it works against Speed.
In fact, Blaize reacted to Speed's previous attack with the help of his devil fruit power. He can't imitate Kizaru's ability who can turn into light particles as he's a logia fruit user.
But, he can stimulate his cells with extre heat and make himself faster. He's still experinting so Blaize doesn't know the full extent of what he can do.

At the sa ti, Speed is shocked because of how fast Blaize reacted to his attack. It's impossible by common sense as he's countless tis faster.
It ans, his opponent also increased his speed to match his. Though he hadn't shown his full speed yet, the fact Blaize can improve his speed surprised him.
'Interesting! I didn't expect Marines would have such a person in their ranks. He's a good opponent to test my new technique but the battle has just started let's wait for now.' Speed thought and looked at Blaize.
Blaize too gazed at Speed. All the information regarding the latter flashed before his eyes. Speed's age is between 35 to 40, the reason he's strong because he's young, clever, and at the pri of his life.
Unlike other muscular characters, Speed is of average build with toned muscles and stands around 7 feet in height. The striking thing about him is his hair and the tattoo on his left arm.
His hair is short but spiky; maybe it looks like this because his na's 'Speed'. He sported a sleeveless shirt and jeans-like pants with brown sneakers.
With a tranquil expression and captain coat, he had the air of a king. What caught Blaize's attention, is his casual deanor that can only be gained after several victories.

anwhile, Kuzan and Luke exchanged blows with neither gaining an advantage over the other; they are evenly matched.
Don't know when Kuzan utilized his 'Ice Age' ability and froze the entire terrain around them. It froze the sea below them, one-third of the GreenHill Island, and encased everything in a shell of ice.
But, Luke looked perfectly alright. It's going to be a tough fight as both Speed and Luke are different from what they expected.
It made Blaize wonder. With their strength, they are qualified to compete for the position of Yonko. But, there's no trace of them in the original series.
If he isn't wrong, they may have lost to another pirate crew, or if not for Blaize's appearance, Garp would have accompanied Kuzan which may have changed the outco.
Whatever the case may be, it doesn't matter. For now, their priority is to defeat the Speed pirates before they grow into an unstoppable force like Big Mom's and Kaido's. Marines can't let lose this fight!
At that mont, the sky suddenly brightened and the Sun rose on the distant horizon. Feeling the sun rays falling on his skin, Blaize smiled.
His body glead in the bright glow of golden light astonishing everyone present. Channeling the vigorous energy throughout his body, Blaize attacked.
Golden sparks flashed around his body and the next mont, his figure appeared in front of Speed. His movent and agility are even faster than the latter.
Blaize didn't utilize his devil fruit powers as it isn't effective against Speed. Instead, he used them to elevate his speed. Coating his fist with Haki, he withdrew his arm backward.
'Bang!'
When the sound happened, Blaize's fist smashed Speed's left cheek. The force behind the strike blasted him far back, into the center of the Greenhill Island.
Speed saw through the punch but he couldn't react and that's what amazed him. He saw what Blaize did. The latter cleverly utilized his devil fruit power and exploded his elbow which in turn propelled his arm forward.
With the force behind the explosion, Blaize boosted the speed of the punch by many tis. 'Impressive!' Speed thought as his figure crashed into the ground destroying the vegetation around.
The punch nearly shattered his bones. If not for his quick reaction and last mont protection with Haki, the punch would have broken his bones and knocked so of his teeth.
Blaize was frustrated seeing the attack fail to injure his opponent heavily. Speed was able to minimize the impact at the last mont. He can only accept the result as it's his opponent's strength.
Without minding the bruises, Speed got back to his feet and rushed at Blaize. He's incredibly quick as he closed the gap between them in a flash.
