Gu Chu was very clear that in the entertainnt industry, one should always assu the people around them have the worst intentions.

The competition in the entertainnt industry was fierce, and no one was willing to be outdone. There were endless plots and conspiracies, and being intoxicated by the wealth of money was commonplace.

For the original novel, the first chapter was pure smu- ahem, an acting chapter of the two protagonists doing various activities in the bedroom. It was the fastest way to capture the readers’ attention.

The female protagonist, Gu Manxi, had drunk a glass of water that had sothing added to it. In her drowsiness, she had accidentally stumbled into Song Chen’s hotel room, and then the two of them had an ill-fated relationship.

This glass of water was naturally sothing that Cao Yuezhi, who was jealous of Gu Manxi, had secretly prepared — it could be seen from this that there were plenty of scheming in the entertainnt industry.

Similarly, from Gu Chu’s point of view, Zhang Qi’s accidental injury on the set in the original novel was most likely not a natural disaster but a man-made one.

“Uncle Zhang Qi, Sister Ye.” Gu Chu walked over and decided to check it out just in case. She raised her small head and pretended to be curious. “Why are these uncles tying steel wires to your body?”

Zhang Qi laughed and explained patiently, “Chuchu, these are wires. You can fly around by tying them to your body.”

Ye Qianqian seed to admire Zhang Qi a lot. She had nothing better to do than to watch the show, she also educated Gu Chu. “Little cutie, with this, you won’t hurt yourself even if you jump from a very high place. Also, Uncle Zhang Qi never uses a stunt double when filming. Isn’t that amazing?”

In movies and TV shows, the crew would use an extrely thin steel wire. It was almost imperceptible in the cara, so as not to expose any flaws in the shooting.

Gu Chu reached out to touch the steel wire. It was ice-cold and the lines were fine. There was no sign of anything fishy on the surface at the mont. Gu Chu was like an innocent child. “The steel wire is so thin. What if the steel wire breaks and soone falls? What should we do?”

“Hahaha.” The staff responsible for the wire laughed together.

One of them laughed. “Don’t worry, kid. I’ve been in charge of the wires for decades. The steel wire is checked every day and the equipnt is changed regularly. There haven’t been any accidents in the past few decades.”

There was another burst of hearty laughter.

Gu Chu’s face was cold. You guys are too naive. I’m the one holding the script in my hands. My intuition rarely allowed to fail. I calculated with my fingers that Zhang Qi would definitely be in big trouble soon.

“Alright, kid. We’re about to start filming,” the staff said. “Zhang Qi needs to go to the 20-ter-high platform to get ready. We need to hang him up first. Kid, Miss Ye, please stand further away.”

Gu Chu frowned. Her dark eyes rolled around as she had an idea.

Gu Chu moved closer to Zhang Qi’s waist, her hands curiously pulling the steel wire. She secretly fiddled with Zhang Qi’s clothes.

Gu Chu took a few steps back and smiled obediently. “The steel wire is really strong. I’m relieved now.”

The machine was quickly activated. A few male staff mbers pulled the rope at the side, and Zhang Qi’s body slowly rose up.

Just after he rose up for a few seconds, Zhang Qi suddenly felt a chill on his legs.

Sothing slipped down from his waist.

He lowered his head and saw his two long hairy legs.

Zhang Qi: “…”

Below, Ye Qianqian, who was secretly taking pictures with her phone, let out a cry. Her fair and delicate ears quickly turned red, and she turned her back to cover her eyes.

Zhang Qi’s face flushed red, and he hurriedly called out, “Please wait! M-My pants fell. I may not have tightened my belt… put down, quick!”
