Chapter 350: Chapter 192 Setting the Trap_3
“No major injuries.”
Knowing that Fu Siyu was concerned about her, Shu Wan smiled gratefully, “It’s nothing serious.”
“You encountered extre fans and got injured, yet you didn’t ntion it to .”
“What’s there to talk about?”
Shu Wan knew that Fu Siyu was good to her. If he knew sothing like this had happened, he would definitely be concerned. So, she figured it was better to avoid making a fuss and simply didn’t ntion it.
More importantly, Shu Wan was used to only sharing good news and not burdening others with her troubles. Getting injured was sothing she preferred not to broadcast; she would rather endure it quietly.
“That’s why I’m upset.”
Fu Siyu watched her quietly, the lights and stars shimring in his eyes, “Even if you were going to divorce tomorrow, after all this ti together, we still have feelings for each other, right?”
“Yes.”
“Then, I hope, next ti sothing happens, you can share it with . I won’t interfere with what you decide to do, but I’d like the opportunity to be inford. Can we agree on that?”
Shu Wan, being intelligent, could clearly hear the undertone in Fu Siyu’s words — he was placing himself in a very humble position.
He wanted to tell Shu Wan that no matter what happened, he would at least stand by her side.
With Shu Wan’s personality, she had encountered many true friends and confidants who had given her a lot of support.
But in this era, there was only Fu Siyu.
Moreover, Fu Siyu’s support seed different from those friends in Shu Wan’s past life.
Those friends supported Shu Wan in her career, and so did Fu Siyu, but beyond that, he seed to also be a part of her personal life.
Shu Wan didn’t dwell on the differences, looking into Fu Siyu’s deep eyes, a tangible warmth surged in her heart.
After all, being cared for was always a joy, “Alright, if there’s anything in the future, I’ll tell you.”
“Can we chat more on WeChat in the future? I’d also like to know how things operate in the crew daily,” Fu Siyu added.
“Aren’t you always busy? You’re in etings all day; how do you find ti to chat?”
“No matter how busy, there’s always ti to reply to ssages. Just send them, and I’ll respond when I see them.”
“Okay,” Shu Wan nodded.
Having received Shu Wan’s affirmative answer, Fu Siyu’s expression softened. His gaze landed on Shu Wan’s shoulder, “Does your back hurt a lot?”
“It’s okay, it will be better in a couple of days, it’s nothing.”
“Good, then let’s go ho.”
“Yes.”
Initially, Shu Wan didn’t quite understand what Fu Siyu ant by chatting more, but after returning to the bedroom, she began to grasp it.
Because, even though they had just separated, Fu Siyu had sent her a ssage on WeChat, “What ti are you going to sleep?”
As soone from ancient tis, Shu Wan had different living habits from modern people.
Like chatting on social dia, sothing very common for modern people, was not habitual for Shu Wan.
Unless necessary, Shu Wan would use ssaging apps, seeing these platforms as tools, not for casual chatting.
But since she had just agreed to chat more with Fu Siyu, she also responded to his ssage naturally.
She lay in bed, replying to the questions Fu Siyu posed while listening to the voice ssages he sent.
Sothing felt oddly different, but Shu Wan couldn’t quite put her finger on it.
It seed like any other conversation, but this late-night exchange, just between them, felt much more intimate.
“Good night.”
“Good night.”
With the moon high in the sky, they bade each other goodnight, ending the chat and preparing to sleep.
Shu Wan’s biological clock was accurate, and she soon fell asleep, while Fu Siyu, on the other hand, couldn’t sleep at all.
He opened Shu Wan’s chat window, read through the conversation again, and finally paused on the last “Good night” sent by Shu Wan, with a clear smile in his eyes.
Just then, the bedroom door was suddenly pushed open, and Fu Yang walked in, but stopped upon seeing Fu Siyu.
Fu Yang, with a complex expression, observed the smile in Fu Siyu’s eyes and then at his phone, “Seriously, are you still the Fu Siyu I know? You seem like soone deep in a romance haze.”
“Speak if you have sothing to say.”
Fu Siyu dropped the smile, casting a slightly disdainful glance at Fu Yang.
Fu Yang: Well, that’s the Fu Siyu I know.
