Because she was too engrossed in watching, Shu Wan didn’t even notice that Fu Siyu had been sitting beside her and watching her for a long ti.

The car was warm, and Shu Wan was wearing only a white fleece sweater, but even a garnt as white as hers couldn’t wash away her icy complexion.

The snowlight reflected on the car window, casting a faint shade of light and shadow on Shu Wan’s profile, making her seem like a re phantom, in danger of disappearing from this world if one wasn’t careful.

For so reason, Fu Siyu felt a little restless inside. He suddenly spoke, "It’s so cold. Are you filming outside?"

"Yes," Shu Wan turned her head away from the captivating light and shadow of the window, grounding herself again in reality with a touch more tangibility.

"It’s not really that cold. I’m wearing quite a lot." She explained, "Besides, staying in air conditioning all the ti isn’t very healthy."

"Mhm," Fu Siyu nodded.

He was about to say sothing when the car was suddenly bumped from behind. Shu Wan’s grip on her cup wavered and the hot tea spilled out, scalding Fu Siyu’s leg.

Shu Wan quickly set down the cup and reached for a tissue to wipe Fu Siyu’s leg.

However, the location where the tea had spilled was a bit awkward. Halfway through dabbing at the stain, Shu Wan realized sothing. She looked up at Fu Siyu and saw a rare flicker of unease in his eyes.

Shu Wan thought nothing of it and smiled. "Have you forgotten? I am a doctor after all. There’s no need to feel too awkward."

Saying so, Shu Wan lowered her head, prepared to continue wiping, but Fu Siyu stopped her, "It’s fine, I can do it myself."

"That works too."

Shu Wan handed the tissue to Fu Siyu and sat back down in her seat.

Fu Siyu glanced at her, suppressing the darkness in his eyes.

For a long ti, Fu Siyu had noticed that Shu Wan had a detached and ethereal view of gender and relationships.

In her eyes, it seed everyone was the sa, without any particular distinction between n and won.

She could quickly adapt to various relationships; her getting closer to Fu Yang and him was primarily because she had grown accustod to them.

If it were soone else, she would still be able to get along well because Shu Wan herself was soone who could make everyone around her fond of her.

Fu Siyu quietly wiped off his trousers, his eyes brimming with thought.

An urge that had always been lurking deep inside him began to spread once more.

He didn’t want to be just another disposable person in Shu Wan’s life; he wanted to be soone special.

His hands tightened slightly, his brows and eyes gently lidded, as though he was facing an extrely difficult decision.

Even when he had started from scratch and faced the toughest business adversaries, Fu Siyu had never felt so indecisive as he did now.

At that mont, there was a knock on the car window. From inside, one could see a woman with ticulously applied makeup.

"Hello, I accidentally bumped into your car. Let’s exchange contact information, and if there’s any problem with your car later on, you can just let know through WeChat."

"Miss, please discuss this with the insurance company; you don’t need to disturb our young master."

The driver’s words might have been better left unsaid, as they only excited the female motorist further. Given the quality of the car and the title she heard as "young master," the driver must be from a wealthy family.

She continued knocking on the window, "Let’s add each other on WeChat, I’m sorry for hitting your car, or just roll down the window a bit."

Fu Siyu appeared indifferent, lowering the window just a sliver and instructing the driver through the narrow gap, "Have the lawyer co; let’s go."

"Alright."

With Fu Siyu’s command, the driver wasted no more ti and promptly returned to the front to start the car.

Through the tiny gap, the female motorist hadn’t seen Fu Siyu’s face, but after hearing his voice, she imagined the owner of it must be very handso.

Her enthusiasm grew further, attempting to stop the car. However, the driver pressed the accelerator, denying her the opportunity.

Inside the car, Shu Wan glanced at the receding figure of the female car owner and teased Fu Siyu unconsciously, "She’s that enthusiastic without even seeing your face. If she knew what you looked like, she’d probably"

"Probably what?"

Fu Siyu suddenly turned his head, his deep eyes pinning Shu Wan down.

The colorful light from a billboard outside the window reflected in his eyes, giving them a dazzling quality, making his emotions unrecognizable but, in that haziness, they beca all the more stirring.

Before Shu Wan could answer, Fu Siyu replied to himself, "Probably fall in love with ? To death do us part?"
