"Two hundred million, not a cent less," the wealthy lady said to Shu Wan, extending two fingers arrogantly.

Although she looked down on a minor star like Shu Wan marrying into a wealthy family, she still wanted to squeeze more money out of Shu Wan.

After all, her husband’s company was experiencing severe cash flow issues recently. If she could extract two hundred million from Shu Wan, her husband would surely be happy, and he wouldn’t go out and ss around anymore.

Shu Wan’s eyes turned slightly cold, "Let see your son, or we can forget about compensation."

Shu Wan had found the school’s surveillance video and watched it; Fu Yang had indeed hit Zhou Ming, but just with a single punch that hardly caused any harm.

As for the heart condition Zhou Ming’s mother ntioned, Shu Wan wanted to verify it herself after eting him.

"My son is currently in the ICU. If you agitate him by eting him, what will we do? Don’t even think about it. Our lawyers will handle everything."

"Then, there’s no point in discussing further."

With that, Shu Wan turned and left.

"Shu Wan!" Seeing that Shu Wan wasn’t falling for her trap, the wealthy lady beca slightly panicked, "You are a public figure. Your son injured my son like this. Aren’t you afraid of being criticized?"

Shu Wan ignored her and left the room directly.

She had a class in a while and had planned to go straight to the classroom, but along the way, she was stopped by soone wearing the Affiliated High School uniform, "Sister Shu."

Shu Wan recognized the boy; he had been a middle school classmate of Fu Yang’s.

"Hello," Shu Wan nodded at the boy.

"I was standing right next to Lin Yang at the ti. It was Zhou Ming who provoked first. He spoke very rudely about you, Sister Shu, which is why Lin Yang lost his temper."

"Thank you," Shu Wan acknowledged.

She had guessed that Zhou Ming had provoked Fu Yang first, but she hadn’t expected it to be because Zhou Ming had insulted her.

"Sister Shu, don’t bla Lin Yang. I actually think Lin Yang likes you quite a bit."

"Why do you say that?" Shu Wan was curious about what Fu Yang was usually like at school.

"Once when we went on a study trip, there was soone handing out flyers on the street, and perhaps they thought you were beautiful, so they put your picture on their cards. Lin Yang didn’t say much, but I heard he staked out for a long ti and even got the police to raid their operation."

Shu Wan’s eyes flickered slightly, "When was this?"

"Back in June, I think."

"Alright, I got it, thank you." Shu Wan smiled at Fu Yang’s classmate, "Visit my ho when you have ti."

"I’d love to, Sister Shu. I really like you, and your TV shows are exceptionally good. My mom loves you too."

Leaving the Affiliated High School, Shu Wan then went to attend class at Qing University.

The classroom was packed, with only one seat available in the second-to-last row.

Shu Wan took the seat straight away, pulled out her books, and waited for the class to start. Soon, a male voice next to her said, "Shu Wan, what a coincidence to et you again."

Shu Wan turned her head and looked at a young and handso face. She had a good mory and imdiately rembered him as the guy in the sports car who wanted to add her on WeChat that day.

"You’re not from this batch, are you?"

Shu Wan rembered that last ti, this man had ntioned he was a senior.

"I heard this professor’s class is quite interesting, so I ca to learn. I didn’t expect you to rember ," said Su Zhou, looking at Shu Wan with unabashed admiration in his eyes.

Ever since Fu Yang saw Shu Wan at school last ti, he couldn’t stop thinking about her. Now sitting so close to her, he marveled that there could be such a beautiful woman in the world.

"Class is starting."

Shu Wan had no intention of chatting with him. She made up an excuse and turned her head to listen to the lecture, but Su Zhou’s gaze on her was too intense to ignore.

Even the professor couldn’t help but to remind him, "Our little chairman here, is the blackboard on Shu Wan’s face? Although I also acknowledge Shu Wan is beautiful, at least give so respect."

After the professor finished, the classroom burst into laughter.

Su Zhou was generous and responded with a smile, "Teacher, loving beauty is human nature."

"How co I rember Su Zhou has a girlfriend? Why is he chasing after Shu Wan here? Shu Wan is married."

"I heard Su Zhou’s family is also quite wealthy. Shu Wan looks so good, it’s impossible for a man to resist her."

Regardless of what the people around her were saying, Shu Wan’s focus was on the book in front of her.

No one noticed that during the two-hour class, Shu Wan had already finished flipping through a thick textbook.

The bell rang for the end of class and the teacher announced dismissal. Shu Wan picked up her bag and walked out.

But Su Zhou followed her, "Shu Wan, since we’re classmates, give your contact information. I’m the president of the student union, you can co to if you need anything."

"No need," Shu Wan flatly refused.

"Ah co on, give a chance," Su Zhou continued with a smile, "there’s a school celebration next month, I could recomnd you for a performance slot."

"No need."

Shu Wan checked the ti. It was almost ti to et Wang Tian. She didn’t have ti to get entangled with Su Zhou and left without answering his question.

Watching Shu Wan’s receding figure, Su Zhou wasn’t upset at all.

"Brother Su, Shu Wan is married, and you’re so blatant about it. Aren’t you afraid her husband will find out?"

"What’s there to be afraid of?" Su Zhou said triumphantly, "I have insider information; Shu Wan’s husband has long been no good. She’s in the pri of her youth; she deserves to look out for herself."

"A divorced woman can’t be taken back ho, will your parents agree?"

"Who said I want to marry her?" Thinking of Shu Wan’s face, Su Zhou’s eyes lit up, "As long as I’m willing to spend money on her, it’s all good."

"Alright, my girlfriend likes Shu Wan, and she says Shu Wan has a strong personality. You might want to tread carefully."

"Don’t worry."

Su Zhou waved his hand dismissively. In his view, no matter how strong a woman’s personality, she was just a woman after all.

Shu Wan left Qing University. Wang Tian was waiting for her in his car at the entrance. Seeing Shu Wan co out, Wang Tian had an indescribable sense of satisfaction and pride.

"What’s with that look?" Shu Wan was speechless.

"I never thought I’d have a day picking soone up at the entrance of Qing University. Man, I never imagined this before."

"Weren’t you saying you had sothing to do this afternoon, where are you going?"

"There’s a fantasy movie audition coming up, and I want to take you. You really fit the role well."

"Why do you look so worried then?"

"Let’s just go and try."

Wang Tian didn’t want to dampen Shu Wan’s enthusiasm, as movies rely more on star power than TV dramas, and even if Shu Wan suited the role better, she might not be able to compete with box office stars.

But Wang Tian genuinely felt that Shu Wan was perfect for those roles, so he wanted to give it a try.
