Chapter 278: Chapter 160 Accusation
@Hui Jun: “I saw Shu Wan at the Film and Television City today, I got a bit too excited, I may have disturbed Shu Wan, I’m sorry, I deserve to die, but I hope that Shu Wan can consider that I’m still a student and withdraw the lawsuit. If I really get detained, I’ll have no hope for graduation or future work, I’m begging @Shu Wan, I’m kowtowing to you here, I’m sorry.”
As this college student was posting on social dia, she also shared her academic excellence certificates, as well as proof of her family’s financial difficulties.
Seeing that her monthly living expenses are only a few hundred yuan, and she’s currently in her internship period, if she gets detained, it’s likely she won’t be able to graduate.
[So pitiful, how can Lady Shu call the police at the drop of a hat, does she think she owns the police station? She’s got the nerve to co out after driving Chu Huahuan into a corner like that.]
[A college student gets excited seeing a celebrity and ends up being sent to the police station, my goodness, the female stars in the entertainnt circle really think they’re so noble, I’ve never seen such nobility. Better not chase after celebrities in the future, be careful not to chase your life away.]
[The bully of the entertainnt circle is none other than Shu Wan, I really dislike this kind of arrogant woman, I still prefer the kind who are gentle and tolerant.]
What prevails in the entertainnt circle is grasping at straws, any slight disturbance can mobilize various marketing accounts.
The college student’s weibo post was written with deep emotions, and with the contrast between the popular female celebrity and the vulnerable group of college students, it was truly eye-catching material.
In no ti, social dia platforms were swamped with news about Lady Shu bullying a college student, almost forcing the student to drop out of school.
And from the mont the rumor started to its spread across the entire internet, it took just an hour.
Wang Tian had barely managed to wash off the stink, and when he ca out and refreshed the news, he almost fainted in anger, “What on earth are these people thinking every day? This college student is even better at marketing than those in the entertainnt circle.”
Fortunately, he had learnt his lesson after being with Shu Wan, and before leaving the scene, he had gotten the surveillance footage from the door. Now having the footage in hand, he wasn’t afraid of these rumors at all.
Wang Tian thought about contacting Shu Wan to tell her not to worry, but after making two phone calls, he found the line was busy.
“That’s odd, is Lady Shu that busy today?” Wang Tian wondered.
At this ti, Shu Wan indeed was very busy, because Liu Zhaodi kept calling her.
“Miss, I can’t trust them, please, co and see , I’m about to die.”
“The hospital staff will take good care of you.”
“I only trust you, if you don’t co, I’ll jump from this building.” On the phone, Liu Zhaodi was hysterical, “Why aren’t you taking care of ? You said you’d save !!”
“Didn’t I arrange a hospital and a hotel for you?” Shu Wan slightly frowned, “How much more do I have to do for you?”
“I don’t care, co to the hospital right now!” As Liu Zhaodi spoke, she grabbed her phone and ran towards the rooftop, “I’m going to sit on the rooftop right now, if you don’t co, I’ll jump imdiately!”
As she said this, Liu Zhaodi rushed to the hospital rooftop in front of everyone’s eyes, attracting the attention of many people.
“Ma’am, please co down from there, it’s dangerous up there.”
The onlookers were calling the police and trying to persuade Liu Zhaodi.
“I want to see Shu Wan, if you bring Shu Wan here, I won’t jump.”
Liu Zhaodi, after all, was just a lower-class woman who had never been out of her county, and was filled with a strange fear towards everything in the big city.
Even though the hospital staff were already kind enough, Liu Zhaodi was still scared, she couldn’t reach her adopted son and could only put all her hopes on Lady Shu.
In her view, since Shu Wan was so wealthy and so kind, she definitely wouldn’t leave her behind.
“Who is Shu Wan?” The crowd discussed amongst themselves, “Hurry up and find this person nad Shu Wan.”
“That celebrity, the one who is pretty good-looking,” Liu Zhaodi described Shu Wan’s appearance to the crowd.
People who don’t follow the entertainnt circle naturally had no idea who Liu Zhaodi was talking about, but so young people imdiately thought of who Liu Zhaodi was referring to.
According to everyone’s statents, the police soon got in touch with Shu Wan, “Lady Shu, please co over, there’s soone here at the hospital who wants to see you. She’s threatening to jump off the building, co and try to persuade her.”
Shu Wan knew in her heart that Liu Zhaodi would never actually jump, but since it was a matter concerning a life, Shu Wan wasn’t completely certain, “Alright, I’ll co over now.”
Fifteen minutes later, Shu Wan arrived at the hospital. Liu Zhaodi was sitting on the rooftop, pretending to be about to jump.
“Shu Wan, why won’t you care about ?” Liu Zhaodi looked at Shu Wan with resentnt, “You’re not answering my calls.”
If it weren’t for Shu Wan not answering her calls, her son wouldn’t be ignoring her; it was all Shu Wan’s fault.
“I’m here to show you sothing,” said Shu Wan, having soone send a docunt up to Liu Zhaodi.
Liu Zhaodi was illiterate, she glanced over the docunt and had no idea what Shu Wan had given her.
She threw the docunt on the ground, “Promise that you will answer when I call you from now on.”
“If you can’t read, then I’ll repeat the contents of the docunt to you.” Shu Wan picked up the docunt from the ground, “I’m quite familiar with the boss of the company your son works for. If you jump, I’ll have them fire your son.”
“On what grounds?”
Liu Yang had bragged more than once in front of Liu Zhaodi about how good his job was. So in Liu Zhaodi’s eyes, her son’s job was extrely important.
“If you don’t believe , then go ahead and try,” Shu Wan said indifferently, “You and I have no relationship, so if you jump, you jump, but your son will lose the job he’s proud of because of you.”
With that, Shu Wan quietly watched Liu Zhaodi. In Shu Wan’s clear gaze, Liu Zhaodi visibly beca panicked.
Just then, the firefighters who had been waiting on the side rushed up and pulled Liu Zhaodi down.
“Thank you for your cooperation, Lady Shu. If there are any more issues, we will contact you.”
Having successfully rescued Liu Zhaodi, the firefighters specifically ca over to thank Shu Wan.
“She won’t try to kill herself again,” Shu Wan said, glancing at Liu Zhaodi from a distance, “I’ll be going. This is her son’s phone number; if you need anything, contact her son directly.”
Having said this, Shu Wan handed the firefighter a note with Liu Yang’s contact information.
“Oh, alright, thank you.”
Liu Zhaodi’s suicide attempt caused quite a stir, with many news dia following and reporting the incident, and when they discovered that one of the main characters was a star from the entertainnt circle, the news spread even wider.
Unscrupulous dia have always been best at creating their own version of the truth with just one picture and a few words.
Soon, there was news spreading about how Shu Wan forced a gravely ill woman to jump off a building.
In the news footage, Liu Zhaodi was a ss of snot and tears, dressed in ragged clothes, her complexion waxy, looking extrely pitiful.
anwhile, Shu Wan stood below with a cold face, as if nothing had anything to do with her.
When compared, Shu Wan seed especially indifferent.
[…How co every ti Shu Wan is in the news, it’s about her forcing soone? She really has a big problem with her character.]
[You can’t just convict soone based on a single picture, do you just believe whatever the clickbait accounts say about Shu Wan?]
[Isn’t it obvious? Look how pitiful that woman is. Even if Shu Wan had no connection to her, she shouldn’t have such an indifferent expression, not to ntion the previous incident with the college student, it shows that Shu Wan really is a person with despicable character.]
With the previous college student incident and now Liu Zhaodi’s jump, Shu Wan had beco the target of public criticism.
