Chapter 262: Chapter 152 Change_3

Shu Wan led Fu Yang to pick mushrooms by the riverbank that had grown after the rain, while on the other side, Xiao Yan and Xiao Lin were also getting ready to co over.

But before they had taken two steps, they were stopped by Chu Huahuan and Wang Shu.

“Yu, quickly call out to Uncle Xiao,” Chu Huahuan said, holding Wang Tianyu as she stood in front of Xiao Yan and smiled, “President Xiao, our little Yu really likes you. He’s been fussing to co over and play with you.”

However, Wang Tianyu wasn’t very cooperative with Chu Huahuan. Facing Xiao Yan, he seed a bit scared and shyly hid beside Chu Huahuan’s legs, “I want to pick mushrooms.”

“Alright.” Seeing Wang Tianyu uncooperative, Chu Huahuan felt a bit disappointed, “President Xiao, we’ll go ahead then.”

“Uh-huh.” Throughout, Xiao Yan’s expression remained indifferent.

“Brother, are these people trying to cozy up to you?” Xiao Lin noticed the excessive enthusiasm from Chu Huahuan and her companion.

“No need to bother with them.” Xiao Yan lifted his head and looked around, “Where’s Shu Wan?”

“She should have gone that way. Should we go over too?”

“Uh-huh.”

On the other side, Shu Wan and Fu Yang found a very old tree that was surrounded by white mushrooms.

“You wanted to eat chicken, let’s gather so of these to cook together.

Shu Wan, feeling tired, decided to rest and climbed onto the tree, lying on the trunk, directing Fu Yang to work.

“You are really good at being lazy,” Fu Yang complained, but still obediently went forward to pick mushrooms.

But before his hand even touched the mushrooms, Wang Tianyu ran up from behind and threw himself on that patch, “They are all mine, you bad guy, I won’t give any to you!!”

Seeing Wang Tianyu, Fu Yang frowned involuntarily, “Aren’t you supposed to be at the entrance? What brought you up here?”

“We want to pick mushrooms too,” Chu Huahuan said as she walked up and helped Wang Tianyu stand, “Lin Yang, share a little with Yu. You go pick sowhere else.”

But Fu Yang had no intention of giving way to Wang Tianyu, “Wishful thinking, this place was our find, go stay wherever it’s cool.”

Saying that, Fu Yang pushed Wang Tianyu aside and quickly stuffed a whole bunch of mushrooms into the bamboo basket.

“Bad guy!!” Wang Tianyu, furious, was about to cry but the cold look in Fu Yang’s eyes frightened him, and he could only whimper softly.

Perhaps intimidated by Fu Yang, even with a temper, Wang Tianyu didn’t dare to provoke Fu Yang anymore. Holding his little basket, he sulkily went to another place to look for mushrooms.

He hadn’t gone far when he spotted a very large mushroom ahead. His eyes lit up, he let go of Chu Huahuan’s hand, and dashed forward.

A four- or five-year-old boy, strong and active, quickly ran far ahead.

He had no concept of danger, only knowing to rush towards the mushrooms.

And that’s when the accident happened.

The mountain was full of deep ditches and cliffs hidden under dry grass and branches. Just a step away from the mushrooms, Wang Tianyu missed his footing and fell down.

“Ah!!!”

Chu Huahuan turned around, only to see Wang Tianyu falling straight into a pile of dry grass, and scread in terror.

Fortunately, underneath that pile of weeds was not a cliff but a very deep hunter’s pit which also had dry grass. Wang Tianyu, being light, fell without getting hurt, but was quite frightened.

“Don’t be scared, Yu. Mommy will pull you up right now.”

Chu Huahuan stood by the pit, at a loss and uncertain what to do.

It was at this mont, Shu Wan appeared beside her, handing down a vine, “Grab onto this to co up.”

“Yes, son, quickly grab this, and we’ll pull you up.”

Chu Huahuan was about to take the vine when Fu Yang snatched it, “I’ll do it. With your strength, don’t end up throwing your son back in.”

Chu Huahuan, grateful, looked at Fu Yang, “Okay, thank you.”

Wang Tianyu had already grabbed the other end of the vine by this ti. Fu Yang seized the top end, and with alternating hands, quickly pulled Wang Tianyu up.

Chu Huahuan was nearly scared to death; she checked him all over, fearing any injuries.

After confirming only minor scrapes, Chu Huahuan breathed a sigh of relief, “Yu, quickly thank Brother Lin Yang.”

As she spoke, Chu Huahuan pushed Wang Tianyu towards Fu Yang.

Fu Yang wasn’t expecting any thanks from Wang Tianyu; he simply waved his hand, “It’s noth–”

He had barely uttered a word when he felt soone hug his lower leg and push him forward.

Fu Yang was standing by the edge of the pit, unguarded and completely unprepared.

Even Shu Wan hadn’t expected Wang Tianyu would push Fu Yang in. By the ti she reacted, Fu Yang had already fallen.

Fu Yang was much heavier than Wang Tianyu; his fall made a loud thud at the bottom of the pit.

Shu Wan grabbed the vine, tied Wang Tianyu’s limbs with a tight knot, and then looked down into the pit. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” Fu Yang’s voice ca from the bottom of the pit, shaking slightly.

“Oh my gosh.” By then, the director and others had also hurried over, seeing Fu Yang lying at the bottom of the pit, the director’s heart sank halfway, “Quick, get him up, let’s end the task and head back to the village!!”

With everyone’s efforts, Fu Yang was quickly pulled up.

“My dear boy, are you okay?” the director almost cried, “I’ve already contacted the hospital below the mountain. By the ti we get to the village, they should be there.”

“My hand hurts.” Fu Yang spoke, as cold sweat continuously beaded on his forehead.

Shu Wan felt sothing was wrong, approached, and lifted Fu Yang’s sleeve; his arm was broken.
