Chapter 175: Chapter 110 Waiting for You
Shu Wan pondered for a mont, then set down her things and followed the staff mber upstairs.
After turning several corners, in an elegant room, Shu Wan encountered the person she had expected to see.
Xiao Yan.
He was dressed in a black shirt, his androgynous features emanating a hint of wickedness, making the otherwise solemn decor seem less serious.
Hearing footsteps, Xiao Yan looked up, his peach blossom eyes lifting slightly in an arc, “Wanwan.”
“…..” Shu Wan furrowed her brows subconsciously, “It seems we are not that familiar with each other.”
“Last ti we t, you said I could call you Shu Wan. Today is our fourth eting, so I don’t think calling you Wanwan is excessive,” Xiao Yan said with a smile, “Co sit.”
“What did you need for?”
“It’s nothing serious, just wanted to ask how you’ve considered the matter from last ti?” Xiao Yan handed Shu Wan a cup of tea, “Since you’re keen on choosing a major in pharmacology, we could collaborate.”
“Seventy-thirty,” Shu Wan neither outright rejected Xiao Yan this ti but instead proposed a profit-sharing ratio.
Seeing Shu Wan relent, Xiao Yan’s smile deepened, “That’s acceptable.”
“I ant seventy for , thirty for you,” Shu Wan added.
Xiao Yan’s expression paused montarily, his eyes narrowed, shining with shrewdness, “Wanwan, your appetite seems a bit too large.”
The seventy-thirty ratio Shu Wan had ntioned was out of the question in a normal business partnership.
After all, Xiao Yan was backed by the largest healthcare conglorate in the world, while Shu Wan at the mont was nothing more than a student who had yet to attend college.
If it weren’t for Xiao Yan’s sowhat abnormal trust in Shu Wan, he wouldn’t have been sitting at the negotiation table with her at all.
So, when Shu Wan suggested a seventy-thirty split in her favor, even Xiao Yan found it rather unreasonable.
“Then let’s not talk about it,” Shu Wan didn’t say much more and changed the subject, “This tea is quite nice.”
Xiao Yan also realized that they wouldn’t reach an agreent today. He leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers lightly on the armrest, his gaze fixed on Shu Wan.
Xiao Yan had fought his way up through the cutthroat world of business, eting countless people, but Shu Wan was an exception.
She possessed a power that instantly steadied people around her.
Even though she was at present no more than a prospective college student, she gave Xiao Yan the impression that she could create an earth-shattering business if she wished.
Yet contradictorily, despite being such a formidable woman, when you were with her, ti seed to quiet down.
At that mont, Shu Wan wore a plain colored long dress, her hair tied at the back of her head, revealing her slender neck.
She looked down slightly, blowing on the tea leaves in the cup. Her curled lashes fluttered gently like a little brush, unwittingly stroking the heartstrings.
“If you like, you can co over for tea often,” Xiao Yan said, sending a ssage to his subordinate, “I’ve already made arrangents; whenever you co by, you’ll have tea to drink.”
Shu Wan took a sip of the tea, “There’s no need for President Xiao to spend more thought on since we can’t even agree on a partnership.”
“The partnership is off the table,” Xiao Yan’s eyes held a trace of cunning, “But what about a romance?”
“…..”
Perhaps because Xiao Yan always had a reckless and unrestrained deanor, Shu Wan had deed his previous behaviors as nonsense.
But now, it was clear that Xiao Yan had overstepped a boundary.
Although many modern ideals are quite liberal, Shu Wan didn’t think they could be so liberal as this.
“It seems you’re not very well-inford; I’m already married.”
“Divorce is a matter of signing a few papers, three minutes tops,” Xiao Yan said with a smile, his gaze intently focused on Shu Wan, “Think about it.”
“I’m not entertaining the thought at the mont.”
Even if a divorce was certain in the future, Fu Siyu was a decent business partner for now, and Shu Wan had no intention of leaving yet.
“Then let know as soon as you do,” Xiao Yan said and suddenly stood up, approaching Shu Wan closely.
He undoubtedly possessed a stunning exterior. If anyone else were looked at from such a close distance by him, they probably couldn’t resist.
