From the boy’s mouth, they learned that he saw the bicycle around 5:30 pm, and because he saw a few thugs attempting to take the bike away, the boy decided to guard it here and wait for the owner to co and claim it. His vigil lasted until Sisi and her friends arrived.

"Little brother, thank you, you really are a little Lei Feng who does good deeds without seeking reward."

Hearing Sisi’s words made the boy extrely happy. He hopped and skipped his way ho after saying goodbye to Sisi and Zhang Jie. His ho was close by, which explained why his parents were comfortable with him being outside alone.

"Now it seems Ah Liu t with trouble before 5:30 pm. Let’s hurry back and et up with Feifei and the others. Searching for people is more Feifei and Yang Shu’s area of expertise," said Zhang Jie calmly.

However, before they could start searching, Yang Shu and Shangguan had already driven over, accompanied by Jin Yan. Upon seeing the damaged bicycle on the ground, the expressions on all three faces changed.

Yang Shu took out a flashlight and along with Shangguan began to search carefully around the bicycle. Everyone held their breath and did not dare to make a sound, not wanting to disturb them.

After about four or five minutes, Yang Shu and Shangguan exchanged a glance and then Yang Shu looked up and said, "Ah Liu has been kidnapped. It looks like there were about a dozen people involved, and they didn’t co by car. They shouldn’t have gone too far. Let’s all look around the area together."

The Jins

Jin Wen was on the phone talking to soone.

"Once you have him, get rid of that man quickly. I don’t want to see him in Capital City tomorrow."

It seed like the person on the other end of the line was saying sothing, and Jin Wen continued, "The balance will be paid once I see the body tomorrow. If these guys screw up, they might as well be dealt with too."

After hanging up, Jin Wen’s face was clouded with shadow. She walked over and sat down at a table, pulled a red rose from a vase on the table without a thought, and crushed it in her hand. The thorns pricked her hand, causing droplets of blood to erge intermittently, but Jin Wen seed oblivious to the pain, continuously crushing one flower after another until all the flowers in the vase were destroyed.

Jin Wen didn’t usually like having flowers in her room; she preferred weapons and firearms. But Sixth Brother liked them; he enjoyed these plants and also painting and calligraphy. To match Sixth Brother’s tastes, she had to suppress her disinclination and force herself to learn flower arranging and painting, all to have more shared interests with him.

But why should Mo Liu attract Sixth Brother so easily? In the past few months, the na Mo Liu appeared most frequently from Sixth Brother’s mouth, followed by He Sisi, while she, his sister, had been long forgotten.

Hmph, dare to steal my Sixth Brother? I’ll make sure you won’t see tomorrow’s sun!

He Sisi, I’ll spare you for now. Once I’ve dealt with Mo Liu, then I’ll have ti to deal with you!

Jin Wen spread her right hand open, the palm oozing with red juice, indistinguishable whether it was blood or sap. Jin Wen seed like she had no nerve endings for pain, totally indifferent to the wounds on her hand, a sinister smile creeping across her face.

In an abandoned estate, Mo Liu lay on the ground with eyes tightly shut, his eyelashes casting a row of shadows on his eyelids, his frail body curled up, his complexion pale, looking so pitiful.

"Big brother, I didn’t expect this guy to be prettier than a woman, just looking at him makes burn with rage. Since he’s going to die sooner or later, why not let little brother here have so fun before that!"

A gaunt man leered at his tall, robust companion, eyes unblinkingly fixed on Mo Liu lying on the ground, while several of the other n shared his lascivious grin.

If Sisi were here, she would certainly recognize the emaciated man and the towering man as Liu Sancun and Li Heizi who He Chengsi beat savagely ten years ago.

"You guys are really sick, no matter how good-looking he is, it’s just a man. What’s the fun in that? If you want to have fun, of course, it’s more enjoyable with a woman."

Li Heizi spoke with disdain, casting a contemptuous glance at Mo Liu on the ground. Indeed, the man was attractive, but Li Heizi was no pervert; just the thought of ssing with a man gave him goosebumps.

"Big brother, you only say that because you’ve never been with a man. Let tell you, won have their allure and n have theirs, each with a different flavor!" Liu Sancun explained, snickering.

Another sleazy-looking man chid in, "Sancun’s right, it’s thrilling to be with a pretty boy. Haven’t you heard about the ancient Emperor, who had many beautiful concubines in the palace yet he chose to be with n?"

"Ah, I can’t hold back anymore. Big brother, if you won’t do it, I will." Liu Sancun rushed towards Mo Liu lying on the ground first.

Mo Liu shifted slightly, his head throbbing as if it were about to split open. Before he could grasp what was happening, he saw a wretched, slim man charging towards him, followed by several others bearing that familiar, sinister smile.

His heart plunged, and Mo Liu’s face turned deathly pale. His mind thundered as Pandora’s Box, which had been tightly sealed for so many years, finally opened, unleashing the demons within.

He rembered, he finally rembered those deliberately forgotten mories.

Inside the filthy hut of the Scavenger, that disgusting man wore the sa grin, reeking of body odor and garbage, ignoring his cries and struggle.

The pain was so intense that it knocked him unconscious. Later, his grandpa and dad arrived, and the police took the Scavenger away. He was in a coma for two days before the fever broke.

After recovering, he only rembered falling ill with a fever, with no recollection of that day’s events. Perhaps his subconscious convinced him that by forgetting, he could pretend it never happened. But what happened, happened. Over the years, fragnts of those broken mories often appeared in his dreams, and the boy crying in those dreams was himself!

Mo Liu grew even paler, feeling as if all strength had been drained from his body. The n drew closer and closer, their stench identical to that of the Scavenger, rotting like a corpse.

"Ah Liu, kick him. You see, there’s nothing to fear about such people. Kick him hard, just like I do."

Sisi’s voice echoed in his mind, and Mo Liu rembered how he and Sisi had fiercely kicked Takahashi, who was lying powerless on the ground. Suddenly, his spirit soared.

He couldn’t be a coward anymore; he couldn’t let these filthy people bully him any longer. Otherwise, he would no longer be worthy of being friends with Sisi!

Mo Liu bit his lip so hard that it stained his teeth crimson. The pain brought back so of his strength. He moved his hands and feet, realizing he was not tied up, which relieved him sowhat.

Perhaps these people assud he was so weak that he couldn’t even truss a chicken?

Mo Liu silently rejoiced, noticing several discarded planks nearby, two of which still had nails in them. He swiftly grabbed one with nails and made up his mind that even if it ant death, he would not be humiliated by these people.
