Upon arriving at Fort Vermillion, Leysha and I imdiately headed to the fortress’s secret underground chamber.

Along the way, walking side by side with Leysha, I reopened the black book left behind by Lord Vermillion in search of clues.

"Are there any new clues, Baron Atreus?" Leysha asked, curiously.

"Not yet," I replied curtly, my gaze still fixed on the last black page, which described the ’key’ to unseal Baroness Sheiza.

"...there might be a few more sentences after that last explanation, Baron," Leysha said, glancing briefly at the black book’s pages.

"Yes, that’s possible."

Leysha and I continued down the hallway, descending the stairs to the basent, while thinking about any missing clues.

Perhaps I could find Dezy, a.k.a. Ulrich Aurelius, when I return to my world.

But even if I managed to find him and force him to give the "key" to free Baroness Sheiza, it would likely be quite complex and convoluted.

If only there were other clues pointing to the location, shape, or anything else related to the "key," perhaps I could find it more quickly and precisely.

Upon reaching the center of the room, Leysha and I stopped.

We both returned to staring at the page of the black book containing Lord Vermillion’s final clue.

Still, nothing had changed.

"Baron Atreus...perhaps we could try opening it again with our combined magical powers," Leysha suggested.

"Good idea, Leysha."

Leysha and I held the black book, closed our eyes for a mont, and concentrated.

At first, my magical power was too strong to keep up with Leysha’s, who was far inferior to mine, causing the black book to tremble.

I controlled my breathing rapidly, restraining myself from releasing the Black Star in my hand, fearing it would boosting black fire that can burn the black book.

At the sa ti, Lyesha’s power gradually increased, matching my declining magical power.

And I could feel our flow of magic drawing closer, until it finally beca one and gathered in the black book.

The black book, which had previously been shaken violently by my excessively high magical power, now stopped shaking and emitted a white light on one of its pages.

With the magical powers of Lyesha and now fused and harmonizing, the white light gradually ford new words, sentences, and finally a full paragraph containing new instructions from Lord Vermillion.

"...Baroness Sheiza said the key is a blue magical pendant, one of the core healing magics. If there’s anything King Bahamut fears, it’s that magical healing pendant. She said King Victor Dragomir’s family holds the secret to this healing magic, and even loyalists like Duke Archer possess only have few of the magical healing pendants that the dragons fear. So say the tal is shaped like a teardrop because it’s the water droplets of angels fed up with the chaos the dragons have wrought..."

"Oh...look, Baron Atreus...! A new clue!" Leysha said happily.

"Yes...it’s clearer this ti, Leysha. A pendant shaped like...angel tears? Well, I don’t know if it’s a taphor or not, but at least I have an idea," I replied calmly.

Now the item I was looking for was clearly visible.

But I knew I couldn’t just go to my world without more thorough preparation.

I could easily fight Dezy and Ulrich with my Black Star magic, but if it caused unnecessary commotion in my world, I’d be in trouble.

I stared at the Black Star in my palm and knew that not only had my elental magic evolved into black magic, but also my ti and dinsion magic.

With my ti and dinsion magic leveled up to ti and dinsion black magic, I could manipulate ti and dinsion for myself and summon people from this magical world to my world for a single chance, provided I was already there.

’Single chance’ here ant I had to accumulate magical energy for a considerable amount of ti after summoning soone to my world.

Despite these constraints, I felt that developing my ti and dinsion black magic was quite useful.

"Leysha, I’ll go first, you’ll catch up later," I said calmly, handing her Lord Vermillion’s black book.

"Eh? Are you serious, Baron Atreus? Don’t you want to take this black book too?" she asked, confused.

"No. I’ve morized it. And I’m serious about this, Leysha. I have another task before I summon you to my world."

"Yes, Baron Atreus. What is my task? I’m certainly ready to carry it out."

"Send a letter to Azalea to prepare the finest gold from Aaren’s golden mountains. I want you to bring it with you when I summon you to my world. Also, bring the Azure Crystals."

The best Azure’s crafters have ever produced in our territory."

"Understood, Baron Atreus."

"When do you think you can fulfill my request, Leysha?"

"One day is enough, Baron Atreus."

"Oh...are you serious? One day to gather such a large number of items is quite a challenge."

"I have my own way, Baron Atreus. Don’t worry. I stand by my promise that today, I will definitely fulfill Baron Atreus’s request."

I smiled at Leysha’s firmness.

If she spoke with such confidence, I felt confident in giving her my trust.

"Good...then I’ll be going, Leysha."

I approached Leysha, pulled her waist closer to mine, and then gently kissed her forehead for a long mont.

Leysha smiled, her face flushed red with embarrassnt.

Her warm smile was directed only at ; no other man could enjoy it.

"Be careful in your world, Baron Atreus. I will definitely be there soon to answer your call," Leysha said firmly.

"Yes, I know you dislike my ex-wife, and neither do I, Leysha. But we must go there for sothing greater. For the glory of Vermillion." I replied reassuringly.

After one last hug and kiss, I broke free and walked to the center of the room.

The Black Star in my hand reacted strongly, black flas appearing on it.

Ti and Dinsion magic activated, causing a black aura to spread throughout the basent.

The star-shaped magical lines that had previously been emitting red light on the basent floor now turned black, following the black aura of my magical power.

I looked at Leysha, who was still standing there, watching leave with a smile, and I returned it with a brief smile.

A second later, the black aura expanded until it filled my world.

I no longer saw Leysha, nor did I see the basent of Vermillion Castle.

The pentagram star magical lines disappeared, as if swallowed by the earth.

I no longer even heard the voices in my ears.

I closed my eyes to sharpen my concentration.

My feet felt like they were floating, as I no longer felt the floor beneath .

The current process of ti and dinsion spell was indeed faster and less exhausting than before, thanks to Black Star developnt.

Then I heard the sound of car horns, telephones ringing, ambulances passing by, and people in loafers walking.

I opened my eyes, and I was on a pedestrian street, where people in suits and office shirts were walking back and forth, busy with their daily routines.

Oh, even the people in casual clothes were walking leisurely, as if enjoying the bustle of the city today.

I looked down at myself, wearing only a t-shirt with a jacket and worn jeans.

Sneakers, the rubber of which had almost worn out, were my footwear.

It was a complete contrast to the nobles’ attire I usually wore in the wizarding world.

Well, I didn’t really care about my appearance in this world.

I looked down at my right palm with the Black Star symbol on it, which radiated a dark magic aura, and I smiled.

As long as my magic remained active while I was in this world, I could solve more than half of my problems.

Among the people who passed , my attention was imdiately drawn to a large screen on the side of the road, which turned out to be showing an auction of a most valuable item, worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

And that precious item turned out to be a blue teardrop pendant that matched the description in Lord Vermillion’s notes.

Well, this is a good start for searching for the key to free Baroness Sheiza!

Even though I knew there would be many defenses blocking my way at an auction site with items worth millions of dollars, I was sure to find a way to sneak in and participate in the auction.

I had just written down the auction site’s address when I suddenly heard the sound of a loud car coming from behind.

It might have been a sports car from a slick driver, but sothing was off.

At first, I thought it was just a car speeding down the street, but the sound grew closer, and even the people behind started screaming.

"Watch out! Crazy car!"

"VROOOMMM!"

The roaring sound of the sports car’s engine was right behind , just a few steps away.

Shit!

There was no way I could jump out of the way!

There was no ti!
