"Leysha...you’re here?"

I was still stunned to see Leysha, whose appearance was different from usual.

She was wearing a white robe lined with black, with a white hood and gold ornants around the garnt.

Oh, she looked like a professional healer who not only cures internal ailnts but also brings peace of mind.

Honestly, I was still stunned, my mouth hanging open as I watched Leysha so gracefully approach .

I saw she was carrying a short golden staff with a blue crystal at the tip.

"Baron Atreus Vermillion...I was so happy when I heard the news that the Baron had asked to co here," Leysha said with a smile and then bowed respectfully to .

"Y-yeah...of course, Leysha. It’s just...I didn’t expect you to co so soon...and...I was truly surprised by your increasingly beautiful appearance, Leysha. I really do," I said after a long pause, having just woken up from my reverie, gazing at her serene beauty.

Leysha smiled as she lifted her white hood so I could clearly see her long, shiny, and graceful brown hair.

Ah, it was truly refreshing to look at.

I was so srized by Leysha that the black fla I’d ford extinguished itself as I lost focus and concentration.

Heck, even the cries of the protesting venture troops about 50 ters behind still sounded gloomy, but I didn’t care.

"...I seem to have disturbed you, Baron Atreus. I apologize for calling you so directly. I didn’t realize you were...um...making Black Fla?" Leysha said politely.

"Oh, yes... that’s right. I forgot. Well, as you see, Leysha, they’re still affected by the Great Wyvern’s poison, and the result is a serious internal complication that has been making them suffer for the past few days. The Vermillion healers who have been deployed don’t seem to be able to do much. They’ve tried various treatnts and alternatives, but the results are nil, in fact, they’re getting worse. I plan to end the suffering of those forr venture troops, Leysha..." I continued to explain casually.

"...end their suffering, Baron?"

"Yeah, by killing them. It’s that simple, although... I’m not really enthusiastic about ending the lives of such desperate people."

"If Baron Atreus is willing, perhaps you can give a chance to restore them, Baron..."

I paused for a mont, watching Leysha’s confident statent.

"You want to cure them? It’s not that I doubt you, Leysha, but the best Vermillion healers you’ve sent have given up on treating them."

"The Vermillion healers seem to have given up because they still rely on our concoctions, which we once developed to counteract the Great Wyvern’s poison. However, I see that the Great Wyvern has grown stronger, and its poison gas has beco more deadly. Treating them with the sa thods will certainly not be effective."

"Well, you had a point about that. Do you have any alternative treatnts for them, Leysha? I’m certainly open to your coming forward to resolve this matter."

"With this, Baron Atreus..."

Leysha held out a short golden staff with a blue crystal at the tip.

The golden staff felt familiar in my mory as Baron Atreus.

And within seconds, fragnts of my mory reopened to , revealing a past where Lady Vermillion owned the golden staff with the crystal.

I was standing there, watching Lady Vermillion maneuver the golden staff with the crystal, teaching how to use it and cast the correct healing spell.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t master the healing spell.

But behind , I saw Leysha, still a maid, observing Lady Vermillion intently.

I even saw Leysha trying to imitate Lady Vermillion’s movents while attempting to cast her healing spell.

Although only copying, her movents were quite good.

Then, the mory stopped.

From what I could gather, it seed like the mory was trying to explain to that the magical golden staff Leysha held now belonged to Lady Vermillion.

And I knew Leysha had learned how to use it.

Leysha slowly raised the golden staff high while casting a healing spell.

I couldn’t hear the healing spell very clearly because Leysha was mumbling it.

Leysha walked calmly toward the forr Ventura soldier who was still wailing in pain from the poison.

"Baron Atreus, it seems dangerous for Lady Leysha to go there alone and-"

"Shh...calm down, Alex," I interrupted Alex, who was warning .

I know very well that the forr Ventura troops are desperately want death, and they won’t hesitate to destroy anyone.

But I have to trust Leysha to carry out her healing mission.

"Make way for Leysha," I said to Alex.

Alex understood my aning and signaled to the troops who had been forming a defensive formation to cover to disperse into positions to allow Leysha a path toward the group of forr venture troopers.

"Where else did the Vermillion healer co from...?! It seems she just wants to make us suffer even more...!"

"Go away, you fake healer...!"

The forr venture troopers’ ranting grew louder, and I nearly lost my temper at their taunts of Leysha.

But suddenly, the blue crystal on Leysha’s golden staff emitted a bright blue light.

SRIINNGG...!

Everyone was stunned by the bright blue light that illuminated them all.

But I sensed sothing different about this blue light.

I saw this blue light bring a sense of calm, easing tension in the muscles and nerves, improving blood flow and steadying breathing.

This blue light seed to carry a healing aura that could instantly perate the bodies of anyone nearby.

Even the forr Ventura troops who had been raving and cursing Leysha suddenly stopped, their faces filled with disbelief.

They looked at their bodies in disbelief, as they no longer felt the effects of the poison that had been tornting them so intensely.

This was high-level healing magic with a wide range, capable of healing hundreds of people at once!

I saw Leysha finally stop about 20 ters away from the group of forr Ventura troops.

Not only them, but Alex, my squad, and I also felt the incredible calmness of this healing magic.

I, captivated by the healing spell, imdiately approached Leysha, wanting to protect her from any unwanted attacks.

However, when I arrived next to Leysha, it seed my worries were overblown.

The forr Ventura troops remained silent, their relieved smiles finally breaking out, grateful for this extraordinary healing.

Aware of my presence, Leysha looked at and smiled.

"Baron Atreus... I managed to heal them," she said with a warm smile.

"Leysha... your smile healed too, you know..." I replied with a smile.

A question arose in my mind.

What healing magic had Leysha mastered to beco such a high-level healer?
