Then ca the maid, and other followers, and even the leader, who hearing the old housekeeper and those guards, cried out in surprise!
"I don’t know!" Ye Shiqi opened the curtains of the carriage window and saw the old housekeeper’s bewildered face!
The old housekeeper, since waking up, had found himself in this strange place!
Then the leader asked excitedly, as the old housekeeper, along with their caravan that was transporting grain, had been gathering information all these days. How co they hadn’t heard anything about their whereabouts, and now here they were, all together again!
Even the leader said that they had been in a certain inn, possibly encountering bandits!
The old housekeeper and the other guards, upon hearing what those few people said, couldn’t correlate it with their disappearance over the many days!
Moreover, they hadn’t t up before, so how did they end up together now?
It was as if they were more than ten days past the place where they hadn’t yet boarded the ship!
The mbers of the team were all puzzled!
This group spoke of their encounters, while another recounted a different set of events!
Both groups always revolved around eting assassins, facing danger!
Both groups felt there was sothing strange about the affair, as if it had all taken place in a dream!
They all reckoned that only Lady Ye Shiqi could unravel the mystery for them!
Would Ye Shiqi tell them?
Of course she wouldn’t tell the truth; she let them believe it was all a bewildering act of immortals!
Ye Shiqi claid ignorance, the old housekeeper, guards, maids, and the leader could only stop questioning.
"I’m hungry!" Ye Shiqi changed the subject, and her declaration of hunger caught the old housekeeper’s alarm and the maids’ attention!
They all looked around to see if there was anything to eat?
They spotted not far off a place with many houses, so of which had smoke rising from their chimneys.
"Let’s head over there!" With the old housekeeper’s command, the entire team moved toward that place!
