Chapter 60: Testimonial
Author’s Note on the Book Launch
I want to thank all the friends who have supported . There are too many old and new friends to list on a single page, so I can only thank them from the bottom of my heart for their support.
I didn’t get to write a book launch note for my first two books because, as a newbie, I didn’t understand how things worked. I’m grateful to the friends who have passed by or silently supported over the years.
Although I only see your words, receiving recomndation tickets and monthly tickets makes notice your support, and every bit of it drives forward.
Writing can be a solitary endeavor, and even if my writing skills aren’t the best, I still want to make every story good.
With your support over the past three years, I’ve had the motivation to persist, to write down every word, every story—it has always been my dream.
...
Whether I can make money from writing or not, I’m determined to finish my stories. So may be long while others are short, but I hope each one brings joy or serves as delightful entertainnt during boring tis.
Writing is not easy; one only knows after trying. Every minute and second is precious, and it hasn’t been easy for to persevere. Over the past three years, I’ve garnered support from many friends, good reviews or bad, but whatever the case, I’m extrely grateful to everyone who has left their mark in my books.
These people may be writers, readers, or friends who ca specifically to support .
My introduction to writing began when, out of boredom, I was browsing on my phone and stumbled upon the writer’s assistant app. Out of curiosity, I clicked into the software and, driven by my interest, joined the ranks of writers. I’m thankful to Yue Wen Platform for giving the opportunity to fall into this writing pit, where I’ve remained deeply imrsed ever since.
I’m soone who loves reading, and before I started writing, I read all types of books: male and female channels, fantasy, romance, the works. I rember “Fairy”; it was the longest novel I ever read. I spent an entire month of my spare ti to finish it, and for a writer, composing over ten million characters might take several years.
However, for the God of Explosive, it might just take a year. I’m in awe of that kind of prowess!
So of the male and female channel greats, even ordinary writers like us, often read their books. My bookshelf contains works by so of these male legends, which I peruse when I’m bored.
Take, for instance, my book “Dreaming Back to Xingxing”. The places are real, the characters are fictional, and the setting—the 1980s—is also based on reality. I was so happy to hear that this book would be available as an audiobook on Lazy Listeners with a wonderful narrator’s voice.
The story of “Farr Girl’s Heaven-Denied Strength” was actually adapted into classical Chinese and written in various styles.
In whatever form, as long as I can publish my stories, here, I want to thank the editor who gave so direction.
Maybe for so, writing a few thousand or even tens of thousands of words a day is no problem, but writing is tedious, and persisting to write a little every day is already the best proof.
I’m not capable of writing tens of thousands of words a day, so the chances of explosive updates are rare, and while so may write full-ti, I can only do it part-ti.
Due to health reasons, my work is often disrupted, yet I spend much of my ti imrsed in the world of books.
It took signing my third book to finally write these book launch words, and I decided to write a bit more because I always feel there are so many thanks that I haven’t expressed.
Every day, receiving recomndation tickets from friends who have always supported , passing friends who gave monthly tickets, or passersby who provided recomndation tickets, I’m sincerely grateful and happy for their generous help.
Many writers have weathered the storms of the years alongside . While so have given up, others have persevered. We support each other, providing mutual encouragent.
I rember the first ti I used this software, I already had 600,000 characters written. Dreaming Back, a novice writer who understood nothing, let alone a steady inco, but I persisted solely on my own will. Back then, I felt incredibly happy knowing that if my stories were read, regardless of whether they made money or not.
So even though the following two books weren’t contracted, I wrote over 300,000 characters. Whether or not they were read, I couldn’t bring myself to delete them; they are the footprints I’ve left, the process of learning to write.
Those recomndation or monthly tickets are a huge support to —I’m happy to et fellow countryn on Qidian, although I reckon we are all brothers and sisters of China. Whoever enters my books is a fellow countryman and friend to , and I hope each and every one of you leaves your mark, letting know of your presence.
Once again, thank you for being there. As the New Year approaches, I wish you all a Happy New Year, may fortune favor you as powerfully as tigers, and wish you good health!
