"I know, and I don’t plan to abandon her again... it is just that I’m not sure about what I want yet," I murmured under my breath. I know right now I sound like a complete asshole.
But I want to learn how to accept her for who she is and that is not sothing I can do with a snap of a finger.
I turned to Alaric, he sure looked mad for soone who is not too close to Ember, or was that close? They even had a nickna for themselves. What was it again? Hansel and Gretel... I believe that is what has got into his head.
"By the way, what is the important thing you said we ca here for?" Alaric asked through the mindlink and his voice was blunt and rude for my liking.
Has he forgotten that he is my Beta or does he think that now that we are here, we have no more hierarchy?
"I will let you know when the ti is right," I respond in the sa tone.
I turned to look at Rhydian who was still standing by the door, ’Is he going to play guard throughout the night?’
"Or maybe he is standing there so he could take the princess away while we fall asleep," Beowulf grunted in my head, before growling.
That makes sense, and that must have been his plan. He wants to take my Ember away, not on my watch.
I grimaced as I rolled around the bed. "New mission for both of you." The mont I said it through the mindlink, Theo and Alaric both groaned at the sa ti.
"You see that fae guy over there, make him sleep between you guys. He must not leave until dawn." I growled. I could already imagine him sneaking into Ember’s room and abducting her. I don’t LIKE him.
"In other words, you don’t want us to sleep tonight right?" Theo grumbled.
"And when did you start to talk back to ?"
"Fine, we will do it but how can we make him sleep between us? You can see that he doesn’t trust us and it would be weird for us to invite him to co and sleep? And we cannot use force... What about if he uses his fae magic on us forcing us to reveal our wolf form? That is ga over. We should just let him be Damon." Alaric’s voice was dripping with irritation.
I already knew that they did not like the mission, but it wasn’t for them to decide. "Don’t make say it twice!" I growled ferociously at them... I an just enough for them to obey.
"Fineee." Alaric rolled his eyes before turning to Rhydian.
He flashed a smile at Rhydian. "Hey, aren’t you tired of standing like a log of wood?"
Rhydian turned to et his gaze. His expression was cold and fierce as if he were going to a war. "No." He replied curtly.
"Oh that’s sad, I’m kinda generous today, why don’t you co and join us? We don’t want the princess to think that we are bullying you." Alaric’s smile widened.
"I just said NO."
Theo sighed. "Then I’ll go and et the princess, telling her that you are being unreasonable to share the space with us... I might also say that you are picking up on Damon... to the extent of almost killing him."
Rhydian’s eyes widened in shock. "How can you be so shaless? You want to threaten by lying against and you think that will work?" He narrowed his eyes at Theo and Alaric.
Alaric patted the space between Theo and him. "Co and sleep then."
"This is unbelievable..." He huffed in anger. "I’ll sleep in the sitting room then." He turned around to leave.
The next second he was already down on the floor, he opened his mouth to shout but Alaric covered his mouth. Theo grabbed his legs and pulled him back to the mat. Rhydian struggled to break free from their grip... ’Hehe. They are not werewolves... I an my Beta and Gamma for nothing."
He struggled so hard that his face turned red, I lay down sluggishly on the bed resting my head on my hand with my elbow popped on the bed. This was better than a theatre.
The mont Rhydian was dragged to the middle of the mat, Theo and Alaric pressed him down with their legs and arms. "Why don’t you be a good boy and sleep," Alaric muttered under his breath with a sly smile.
"I... I’ll tell the princess about this... You guys tried to abduct !" His yell turned into a muffled one, as Alaric covered his mouth again.
"We abducted you to sleep, I don’t see anything wrong with that," Theo whispered into Rhydian’s ear while pushing his glass back.
"Tonight is going to be a cozy one." Alaric smiled so lovely at him... that even Rhydian’s heart skipped a beat.
"Let go of this instant!" He yelled, but it was all a muffled one.
Alaric playfully clicked his tongue. "No, no, buddy. We are going to have a very cozy ti together, why don’t you keep quiet so as not to disturb our sleep, huh?"
A smirk ford on my lips, these two are worthy to be called my Beta and Gamma. ’Hehehe, now I have nothing to worry about.’
"Why don’t we sneak into her room when they are all sleeping? We haven’t gotten a chance to take a proper look at her beautiful face." Beowulf was already drooling at the re thought.
I swallowed, that was tempting. "Hmm. That sounds like a good plan... but we also have to test to see how much she has changed."
"Yeah, we both know how much of a gluttonous pet she was." Beowulf teased.
"Let’s see if she will chew on my lips again." I felt my chest tightening from the re thought of her doing that to again.
