Han Cai raised an eyebrow as he asked the Pri Minister, "So once I join your organization, what will be my duties?"
The Pri Minister responded, "As a mber of any organization, you will be allowed to take on missions."
Han Cai wasn't satisfied with this answer, "I am already giving you control of a country. Why do I need to do missions for you?"
The Pri Minister explained, "The leader of our group beca the leader not only because of his cultivation but, most importantly, due to his contribution to the organization. As long as you contribute enough to the organization, you can use the people within the organization for your needs as you see fit. It cos with a lot of perks." Saying that, the Pri Minister took out another scroll and handed it to Han Cai.
Han Cai read through the scroll, which contained details and the hierarchy of the Shadow Lotus organization.
The top of the ranks ntioned was supre leader. The highest level in the organization, currently held by Yun Qinghong. The Supre Leader oversees the entire organization, makes key decisions, and sets the overall strategy for growth and expansion.
After the supre leader ca to the High Council. Comprised of a select group of trusted advisors and top-ranking mbers, the High Council assisted the Supre Leader in decision-making and helped to enforce the organization's policies and objectives. They are responsible for managing the various divisions within the Shadow Lotus.
Third ca Division Leaders. Each division within the organization focused on a specific area of expertise, such as intelligence gathering, combat, recruitnt, or resource managent. Division Leaders are responsible for the operations of their respective divisions and report directly to the High Council.
Fourth ca Elite mbers. These were highly skilled and experienced mbers of the organization who had proven their loyalty and capabilities. They are assigned to critical missions or tasks and often hold positions of authority within their respective divisions.
Fifth ca the Senior mbers. Senior mbers have demonstrated their commitnt to the organization and have acquired a certain level of skill and knowledge. They are entrusted with more responsibilities and often serve as ntors to junior mbers.
Sixth ca the Junior mbers. These were the new or less experienced mbers of the organization who were still learning the ropes and developing their skills. They were assigned to lower-risk tasks and missions and were guided by senior mbers.
Seventh ca the Initiates. These are individuals who had been identified as potential recruits for the Shadow Lotus. They undergo a rigorous selection and training process to determine if they had the qualities necessary to join the organization.
Last ca Informants and Support Network. This group consisted of individuals who were not official mbers of the organization but provided valuable information, resources, or assistance to the Shadow Lotus. They could be spies, rchants, or local contacts who aid the organization in various ways.
The Pri Minister continued, "As you are the first person to provide our organization with a country, you will be given a seat on the High Council. You will be just below the leader. You will already have a lot of power, but the council mbers are divided into levels too. You will be a fifth-level council mber. Our current leader was once a level one council mber, and when our previous leader passed away, he beca our new leader."
Curious about the Pri Minister's position within the organization, Han Cai inquired, "What's your level in the organization?"
The Pri Minister replied, "I am one of the elite mbers, and if you accept joining our organization, as I am the one bringing you in, I will be promoted to division leader for country managent, and I will be answering and reporting to you."
Han Cai then asked, "What kind of missions do High Council mbers take?"
The Pri Minister answered, "The missions taken by High Council mbers are mostly to try to undermine other organizations at a high level and secure more resources for our organization. They work on a national level. Since you are already bringing a nation to the table, you have essentially completed the mission."
Han Cai wasn't fully convinced, "I am the only one who has brought a nation to the organization. Shouldn't I get a level one seat on the council?"
The Pri Minister shook his head and said, "Your contribution is the highest the organization could get, but you are still new. Others started as initiates and spent hundreds of years in the organization. To get a level one seat, you need the trust and vote of every council mber."
This revelation made Han Cai consider his position and the potential benefits of joining the Shadow Lotus organization. It was evident that becoming a High Council mber would give him significant power and influence, but it would also require a considerable amount of work to gain the trust of the other council mbers.
He pondered the Pri Minister's words as he looked around the garden, the gentle breeze rustling the leaves on the trees. The prospect of joining an organization that had the backing of powerful cultivators was undoubtedly tempting, especially when faced with the inevitable backlash from the Crimson Serpents.
Han Cai narrowed his eyes, considering the implications of joining the Shadow Lotus. "Let's get into details. As a High Council mber, how many cultivators can I control, and who will do my bidding?"
The Pri Minister replied, "You will have twenty Nascent Soul cultivators, ten Soul Formation level cultivators, five Soul Severing Realm cultivators, three Spirit Embryo Realm cultivators, two Spirit Body Realm cultivators, and one Earth Immortal cultivator who will be doing your bidding. Besides that, a void immortal will be assigned to Yin. He will be one of the council mbers to make sure everything stays stable in Yin."
Han Cai nodded thoughtfully, considering the resources that would be at his disposal. "Pri Minister, Yin is yours. Go ahead. But I will be joining your organization after three years I need so rest."
