Ren and Althea instantly looked at each other.
"It’s my daughter." Despite knowing her daughter was on the other side of the door, she was still calm.
She even still rested in his arms as if she was not afraid of her daughter seeing them in a romantic position.
"Should I pretend to be asleep?" he inquired.
"No. You should et her." She knew how much courage it had taken her daughter to co to his chamber at night, so she didn’t want her effort to go to waste. "I will hide in the bathroom."
"Hide in the bathroom?" the corner of his lips twitched. "It’s not a safe place. What if you get caught by your daughter later?"
When Althea was about to say sothing, Zaria’s voice rang out again.
"Ren, have you gone to bed?" Zaria suddenly thought about returning to her chamber since he was not responding to her.
"Go et her. I will hide in the bathroom now." Althea slipped out of her arms and headed to the bathroom.
Ren opened the door and asked, "Zaria? Is there sothing you want to tell ?"
"Ah! I...mmm...I just...." She could not sleep and wanted to chat with him, but she didn’t dare say it out loud, so she stuttered.
"Co in." he understood that she could not answer his question, so he let her in imdiately.
Once they sat on the chairs, he tried to make her relax by talking about the peaceful monts they spent around the fort or the ti when they traveled to the border.
And his efforts were not in vain because she could relax imdiately.
She even giggled happily.
It was as if her nervousness had lifted, and all that remained was the simple comfort of being in each other’s company.
Without realizing it, they had been talking for more than an hour.
"Ren, I need to use the bathroom. Is it alright if I use yours?" Zaria asked.
"Bathroom?" His heart raced in sudden panic.
’What should I do now?’
It would raise suspicion if he didn’t let her use the bathroom, but if he did, she might discover her mother hiding inside.
Both options were dangerous, and he had no idea which would lead to greater trouble.
"Ren, can I use your bathroom?" he didn’t answer, so she repeated her question.
"...alright." He responded, "Ah! Zaria, let take you to the bathroom."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "I...I can go alone."
He rose from his chair and smiled gently. "Since you’re in my ho, it’s only right I show you the way. Let take you to the bathroom."
It was the only way to warn Althea that her daughter was about to use the bathroom, so he insisted on leading her there himself.
’Queen Althea, you are making lose my good image.’
He cried inside because he was acting like a pervert now.
Zaria’s face suddenly turned red.
But even so, she didn’t reject the offer this ti.
"Alright." She let him lead the way.
Ren talked about sothing when they were close to the bathroom because he wanted to make sure Althea knew their presence.
And his efforts weren’t in vain because Althea imdiately understood the aning behind his actions.
’My daughter is about to use the bathroom. I need to hide sowhere.’
She skimd her surroundings to find the best place to hide.
’There is no place to hide here.’
Her gaze suddenly landed on the spacious sunken bathtubs.
’I can only hide there.’
She had no other choice, so she approached the sunken bathtubs and hid there, drowning herself in the water.
"Then, I will wait for you at the table." He could not stop her from entering the bathroom any longer, so he decided to return.
"Un." She nodded before opening the door.
As he returned to the table, he let out a sigh.
’Queen Althea, everything depends on you now. If you get caught by your daughter, you can’t bla because this was your idea.’
Of course, he would help Althea explain everything if that happened because he could not just stand by and let her face the consequences alone.
When the sound of Zaria closing the door echoed in the bathroom, Althea closed her eyes.
’I can only bla myself for this.’
She tried her best to hold her breath.
Even though the toilet was not far from the sunken bathtubs, Zaria didn’t notice her mother.
Her mind was still full of the happy mont she had just shared with Ren, so she did not check her surroundings because she thought she was alone.
’I’m glad I decided to co to his chamber.’
Her face blossod into a smile as she recalled their pleasant mont.
’Should I stay the night in his chamber?’
Her face turned red when a crazy idea suddenly popped up in her mind.
’No, no! It’s too fast for that to happen.’
She shook her head cutely.
’Should I invite him to have breakfast with tomorrow?’
She felt like the world had turned into a beautiful garden when they were together, so she wanted to spend as much ti with him as possible.
’Yes. I will invite him.’
She made up her mind quickly.
At this mont, Althea opened her eyes.
’Why is she still in the bathroom?’
Zaria had finished peeing, so she thought her daughter would leave imdiately, but she was wrong.
’It seems they had a morable mont earlier, and she is now recalling it.’
Even though she could not see her daughter, she could tell what was happening because she had once been a young girl.
’I’m happy for you daughter.’
Her face broke into a smile.
Three minutes later, Zaria walked out of the bathroom and returned to the table.
Ren felt relieved when he saw no change in her behavior because that ant she had not found her mother in the bathroom.
The duo talked again.
At 10:30 pm, Zaria decided to return to her chamber because it was already late.
"Ren, let’s have breakfast together tomorrow." She uttered.
"Sure." He agreed instantly. "I will co to your chamber tomorrow morning."
Her eyes shone brightly.
Even though she had guessed he would agree to her request, but hearing it directly still brought her happiness.
"Then, I will wait for you tomorrow." She turned to head back to her chamber but suddenly paused and turned to him again. "Good night, Ren."
A soft smile spread across his face as he saw her happy face. "Good night, Zaria."
After she disappeared into the distance, Ren quickly closed the door and rushed to the bathroom to check on Althea.
’Mmm?’
The expression of deep shock blossod on his face after he opened the door.
She previously hid underwater, so her white dress was now soaked and clung to her body, allowing him to see the shape of her body clearly.
Not only that, he could even see her black panties and matching bra.
Of course, he didn’t lose control of himself because he was used to seeing Lexie and Scarlett naked.
Althea, who noticed his gaze, looked at her body before returning her attention to him.
"Do you like what you see?" she didn’t cover her body or act shyly as if she was showing off her perfect body to him.
"I like it!" he believed any man would give the sa answer because she was a beautiful lady with a stunning body.
A teasing smile slowly ford on her face. "So, are you going to stay there and watch change my clothes?"
"Ehm!" he pretended to clear his throat. "Then, I will wait for you on the bed."
"Hehe." She could not help but giggle after he closed the door.
After changing her clothes, she headed to his bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Queen Althea, co here and rest in my arms. I will help warm your body." He believed she was feeling cold because she hid underwater for a few minutes earlier.
Althea didn’t refuse the offer and rested in his arms imdiately. "Oh... I can feel my body slowly warming up."
"See? I was not lying, was I?" He grabbed the blanket and draped it over their bodies. "I might look like this, but I’m quite skilled at giving warmth to a woman."
"Hehe." She giggled, "Ren, are you happy now?"
Instead of answering, he asked, "Why are you suddenly asking that?"
"You had a sweet mont with my daughter earlier, and now you are embracing on your bed. Isn’t this one of a man’s most desired dreams?" She knew about this because she had heard several of her male subordinates express their wish to have a pair of mother and daughter in their arms, especially if they were both gorgeous.
"Does that an you are going to give yourself to now, Your Majesty?" he asked with a teasing smile.
"No," she replied with a playful grin. "A queen is not so easily conquered. You will need to try harder if you want to win ."
"But you’re already in my arms," he countered with a smirk. "Doesn’t that an you’ve already been conquered?"
"This is a different story, because we both need this," She made a bad excuse.
"It’s not both of us; it’s you who need this." He suddenly realized sothing. "Now that we are talking about this, you have been using all this ti. Shouldn’t you be paying by now? After all, I’ve been helping you have good dreams lately."
"Tell . What do you want?" she inquired.
"How about you give yourself to now? I promise I will make sure you have pleasant dreams every night." He responded.
