"Hmm?" Ryfon turned his head toward the source of the sound.
’Oh, their helpers have arrived?’
He saw fifteen city guards approaching them with angry faces.

The city guards were furious, especially after learning the condition of the blue-haired man.
Joshua grabbed his spear firr and roared, "Kill them!"
All the city guards rushed toward Ryfon and his subordinates.
"You guys, go and play with them." Ryfon crossed his arms over his chest and ordered his subordinates to fight the city guards.
"Ouooo..." Ryfon’s subordinates listened to the order and dashed toward the city guards.
The fight between magical beasts and city guards finally broke out.
All the farrs stared with expectant eyes as they watched the battle before them.
They hoped the city guards would manage to kill all the magical beasts because their lives depended on the result of their fight.
However, their hopes were shattered into pieces shortly after the fight occurred.
Even though they were in the sa rank, but Ryfon’s subordinates were stronger than the city guards, so they imdiately had the upper hand in the fight.

"Haha." Ryfon could not help but laugh loudly when he saw the frightened expressions of the farrs.
Their hopeful faces turned pale, and fear paralyzed them.
The city guards had lost the fight, so their lives were in danger again.

So of the farrs fell to their knees.
The fear in their hearts was so great, so their legs turned frail.

A big grin ford on his face when he saw Ren standing in the mid-air before him.
He had been waiting for him for two days, so he was happy when he saw Ren because, with this, he could kill him imdiately.
"Haha. I finally t you, Ren." Ryfon did not attack Ren imdiately; instead, he laughed loudly as if he was seeing treasure, not an enemy.
The farrs raised their heads and looked in the direction where Ryfon was looking.

A ray of hope appeared again when the farrs saw Ren in mid-air.
Ren was Aeris.
His Warrior class was at Master rank, and his Mage class was at 3-star, so the possibility of him defeating Ryfon and his subordinates was quite high because he was stronger than the city guards.
"It’s them! Go and save the citizens!" Captain Noah rushed toward the farrs and the injured city guards as he gave an order to his subordinates.
The farrs and the injured city guards instantly shifted their gaze when they heard a familiar voice.

The ray of hope within them grew bigger when they saw Captain Noah and thirty of his subordinates.
With the help of Ren and them, it was no longer impossible for them to survive because they were powerful awakeners.
"General Ryfon, more toys are coming our way." Fylson uttered.

Even though they were outnumbered, there was no sign of fear in their eyes; instead, their hearts throbbed with excitent because they could play with humans again.
"You and the others play with them. I will face Ren alone." Ryfon didn’t want his subordinates to help him because he would beco a laughing stock if the other generals knew about it.
"Understood, general." Fylson responded as he grinned evilly.

Ren used the Divine Steps skill to walk down.
He did not attack Ryfon imdiately because he wanted to save the city guards and farrs first.
"Drink this. It will heal your injuries quickly." Ren gave low-grade health potions to the injured city guards and farrs.

"You previously said that not a single citizen of Nightshire City could kill you, right? Now, let test your strength. I want to know whether you are lying or not." Ren turned his Aether Weapon into a sword and used the Lightning Movent skill to appear before Ryfon.
"You will know about it soon." Ryfon said as he blocked Ren’s attacks.
As they were fighting fiercely, the first general Laiex stood on a tree branch and paid attention to them carefully.
Julzreon ordered him to follow Ryfon, so he also ca to Nightshire City.

Captain Noah, his subordinates, and Ryfon’s underlings stopped fighting when the battlefield suddenly beca dark.
Like the first ti they saw the Lightning Dragon magic, Captain Noah and his subordinates trembled in fear.
