After hearing what Ronald had announced, Lai iyun quickly turned around, and to her surprise...
"LING FENG!" Seeing that Ling Feng's eyes were closed, Lai iyun shouted out his na, quickly kneeled down besides him, and then placed her ear directly on her chest to see if she can still hear his heart pumping.
But not only could she not hear his heart pumping at all, but she couldn't even sense that there was a heart in his chest to begin with!
"Noticed it yet?" Ronald saw the terrified look on Lai iyun's face, and he couldn't help but slightly grin a bit.
Now this is what a normal heroine should look like when a protagonist is in such a dire situation such as this one…
Well it couldn't be considered a dire situation anymore since Ronald was almost certain that Ling Feng was actually dead.
But Ronald honestly wanted to praise Lai iyun for actually being a genuine heroine for once and not actually giving him so much unnecessary drama, unlike all of the other heroines he has ca across ever since his regression, but of course he knew he couldn't do that.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!" Lai iyun fiercely yelled out at Ronald and her eyes started to get red.
She knew that it definitely wasn't a good idea to yell and offend soone who had easily killed Ling Feng so easily, but she had a plan in mind that'll at least cause Ronald and the Kuangge family a ton of trouble if the plan does manage to successfully work.
"What did I do? Co on Miss Lai, are you really this stupid? Wow, and yet I'm considered as the most brainless idiot in China. Don't worry though, I'll move aside and allow you to grab the title from ." Ronald said in a mocking voice.
Ronald was well aware that his original personality as a brainless rich second generation had been completely shattered in Lai iyun's perspective, which should be a bad thing for Ronald since he wants to complete the future plots with ease, right?
Wrong.
Although Lai iyun will most likely not see him as a brainless rich second generation anymore, her hatred for him has increased so much that she'll most likely try to do everything in her power and every opportunity she gets in order to face slap Ronald...
Therefore making her team up with Ye Fan in order to humilate Ronald more.
Of course, since he has not actually gotten humilated ever since regressing back to this novel world, Ronald would at least like to try and avoid getting face slapped for all of his future plots.
But if that can't be avoided, then Ronald wouldn't really fret over it anyways.
After all, it's better to get face slapped and have the heroines hate him than avoid getting face slapped and having the heroines love him.
"RONALD! TELL NOW!" Lai iyun scread at the top of her lungs.
She could sowhat guess what Ronald had done, but she wanted to hear it from Ronald himself.
Since there were plentiful of caras with audio recordings on the second floor of the casino building, her plan was to use them to her advantage and get Ronald to admit his wrongdoings in front of the caras in order to expose Ronald to the entire public and try and get him sent to death row.
Of course, she had also considered just getting the cara footages as well in order to expose Ronald, but since everyone had completely dropped dead all of a sudden and she couldn't even see Ronald moving at all besides the ti when he had stood up and stepped on Ling Feng, she knew that she couldn't use them as concrete evidence against Ronald.
"Haha well you see, when I had stomped on Ling Feng's chest to begin with, I actually made sure to stomp on his heart in order to stop it from beating any further, but since Ling Feng was extrely weak as hell, the shockwave created from just stomping on him had completely shattered his heart." Ronald shrugged and then looked at the ti on his watch.
Even though he wanted to stay on the second floor of the casino building and tease Lai iyun for a bit longer, he knew that guards and staffs were going to co up to the second floor of the casino and check up on Sheu Fai and Lai iyun soon.
So after looking at Ling Feng one more ti and making sure that he was absolutely dead with certainty, Ronald stood up from his chair and then turned his back towards Lai iyun in order to prepare to disappear into the night.
Just before Ronald could quickly leave however...
"Ronald?" After entering the casino building and hurriedly running up to the second floor of the casino building, Li Wanruo imdiately called out to Ronald after seeing him.
While she was over at the capital city in order to visit her family mbers, one of her casino supervisors had notified her that all of the caras surveilling the second floor of the casino had been disabled all of a sudden.
So after making a quick trip to the casino that her family owns and entering the second floor of the casino building, to her surpise, she saw a ton of influential people laying unconsciously all across the floor.
But after seeing that Ronald was also at the second floor of the casino building however, she could most likely guess that it was Ronald's doing.
Li Wanruo was extrely surprised though, although she knew that Ronald was quite sturdy just by observing the amount of tis Ronald had gotten face slapped without a care in the world in her previous life, she didn't know that Ronald was incredibly strong as well.
But of course, even though she's aware that Ronald was actually incredibly strong now, her love for him didn't waver a bit, and on the contrary, she was also glad that he was strong, since it ant that she didn't have to worry about Ronald's safety for the ti being.
All she had to worry about now was to get Ronald's love now and make sure that Ye Fan doesn't end up growing more powerful to the point where the sa thing doesn't happen in the previous life.
"..." Ronald's face instantly froze after hearing Li Wanruo call out his na all of a sudden.
'I forgot that Li Wanruo actually owns this casino.'
'...'
'Is it too late to take that trip to the Bahamas now?'
