Sure, even though she absolutely loathed the person who had made her go all the way over to China in order to rescue her best friend, she still couldn't deny that his power was beyond belief.

If that guy was considered a waste, than the person who had called him a waste couldn't even be considered an ant.

Although Ye Fan had a strong feeling in his gut that the girl in front of him was soone who he could easily get along with in the far future, he was worried that this current 'ally' of his would stand up for Ronald just like every other beauty in China.

"Are you stupid?" Sylvia was genuinely curious.
Despite the fact that the person who had kidnapped her best friend sure didn't look like soone who was strong and even looked like a playboy in her eyes, couldn't everyone else see that he wasn't even slightly worried in the current situation he was in?
Can any other normal human being look that relaxed while being completely cornered by over 100 bodyguards?
So could probably argue the fact that he probably just had a loose screw in his head or sothing, and that's what Sylvia had also initially thought when she was observing him in the forest, but after seeing how strong he actually was, she knew that it wasn't the case.
After hearing what Sylvia had said, Ye Fan's blood couldn't help but start to boil.
Why does every beautiful girl in China always side with Ronald?!
They're suppose to be siding with him!
"How am I stupid? Do you know sothing about Ronald that I'm not aware of?" After calming down a bit, Ye Fan decided to just ask Sylvia straightforwardly.
One of Ye Fan initial theories was that one of his enemy from overseas was pulling all of the strings together in order to try and make Ye Fan's life as miserable as possible.
However, Ye Fan later scrapped out that initial theory of his since he didn't recall actually offending anyone who had a ton of influences over at China.
And even if he did actually offend soone like that, that person who he had offended would've known not to ss with him anyways.
But thinking back at it now, Ye Fan felt like this theory was the most plausible.
So who was this supposed mastermind behind the scenes?
No clue.
Even though he had no clue who it actually was, all he knew that this person had enough influence to convince every beautiful girl in China to conspire against him.
But even so, Ye Fan wasn't going to let this mastermind behind the scene get the best of him, after all, god was on his side!
"You really are stupid if you think that Ronald is a waste, he's actually pow-" Before Sylvia could even say anything else...
"Wow Ye Fan, just about 2 days ago you had gotten shot in the abdon, and now you've decided to co all the way to the capital city to get abused by again!" Ronald hurriedly stated with an arrogant look on his face before Sylvia could fully reveal his strength to the world.
Although Ronald really didn't want to get face slapped by Ye Fan, he knew that he had no other choice.
It was either that or allowing Sylvia to reveal his strength out to the entire public.
Sure, Ye Fan might not believe it at first, but sooner or later Ye Fan might actually start to doubt that Ronald isn't actually a brainless idiot like he claims to be and was soone who was incredibly strong.
And if that happens, not only will all of the future plots get completely ruined, but Ronald's original personality will also collapse!
So with that in mind, Ronald quickly pushed Iris out of the way and started to make his way towards Ye Fan with a smirk on his face.
Seeing the arrogant look on Ronald's face, Ye Fan couldn't help but start to get cheerful in his heart.
Even though he was aware that Ronald wasn't the mastermind behind the scenes, Ronald has made him lose so much face that he absolutely hated Ronald to the bones.
But now that Ronald literally has nobody protecting him in this capital city besides Iris, Ye Fan can finally get his sweet sweet revenge and humiliate Ronald in front of the entire world.
So Ye Fan started to approach Ronald as well.
And the mont they were just about a few feet apart from each other, Ye Fan lifted up his hand and ford it into a fist, and then started to throw his fist at Ronald's face.
Just as his fist was about a couple of inches away from Ronald's face however...
SWISH!
A woman wearing a daoist robe appeared out of nowhere with a sword, used it to completely slash Ye Fan's hand off before it could hit Ronald's face, and then about a couple more dozen of people also wearing daoist robes all appeared with their swords drawn at everyone else's necks besides Ronald and Iris.
'And who the hell are these people?'
'Even with all of the odds being in Ye Fan's favor, he still sohow gets fucked over as the protagonist!'
