Upon hearing Iris's voice suddenly call out to him right from behind, Ronald didn't suddenly freak out this ti and calmly turned his head back.
"Sup Iris, welco back... uh." Ronald noticed that there was blood leaking out of her abdon and paused.
Confused as to why Ronald was looking down at her abdon as though he had just seen a ghost, Iris glanced downwards and saw that she was bleeding and had made quite a ss when entering the house.
"I'm sorry Young Master, I didn't notice the blood seeping through my clothes until now. I'll clean up the blood on the floor right away." Considering that Ronald had often criticized her for being ssy and doing a sloppy job when she first beca his maid in her previous life, Iris realized her mistake and deeply apologized.
"Uh, no need, I'm not worried about that in the slightest. It's just that... were you seriously walking around in public like that?" Considering that it seed like Iris didn't even know that she was bleeding out of her stomach until he had ntioned it, Ronald had to ask.
After all, if word got out that a beautiful girl wearing a maid outfit was bleeding out of her stomach in the capital city, then so much things could potentially go wrong for him and the plot in the future.
And he sure as hell didn't need the plots collapsing even more than they already have.
"No, Young Master, I already knew that the wounds from my abdon had opened up again when I had initially visited a jade factory today, which was mostly why I hid from the public eyes after that. I just didn't think that the wound would end up this bad." Iris answered truthfully.
"Uh huh... I an, I guess that makes sense." Ronald nodded.
If it had been any other person that had said this to him, he would've imdiately thought that the person was an absolute lunatic and would've suggested them to get their brain checked out imdiately.
But since those words were instead coming from Iris, a 'heroine' who had supposedly long been used to pain ever since she was a child, Ronald didn't doubt her one bit.
"Wait, you went to a jade factory today?" Ronald didn't realize what Iris had also said until after his worries had gone away.
"Yes, Young Master. I needed an Imperial Jade from there to construct the octagon-shaped imperial jade plate I had told you about earlier. See?" Iris took out the Imperial Glass Jade she had in a black duffle bag and showed it to Ronald.
"That's cool and all, but was there like anyone there that you recognized over there at all, or..." Ronald paused and didn't say anything else.
"There was, Young Master. Your friend Gu Changsheng and that vermin Ye Fan." Iris knew what Ronald was hinting at and her expression slightly darkened as she ntioned Ye Fan's na.
Ronald's eyes widen up in shock when he heard this.
He had completely forgotten that since Ye Fan was a protagonist, he still naturally attracted the heroines wherever he went.
Damn it! Don't tell him that Iris had sent his golden ticket back to earth all the way to the shadow realm while she was gone!
"Don't worry, Young Master. Gu Changsheng didn't get hurt during the altercation with Ye Fan." Seeing as though Ronald looked shocked and assuming that Ronald was worried for his friend, Iris quickly added in.
"And Ye Fan?" Ronald raised his eyebrows.
"He shouldn't be a bother for you anyti soon, Young Master." Iris spoke indifferently.
"As in he's dead?" Ronald's face was in complete horror.
"Unfortunately not, Young Master. I only punched his stomach and rendered him unconscious." Iris sounded a bit depressed when she said this.
Ronald inwardly took a big sigh of relief after hearing this.
"Good, until that asshole has gone through all of the tornts and torture thods humanly possible, that asshole can't be allowed to die under any circumstances!" To ensure that Iris doesn't end up killing off Ye Fan randomly, Ronald stated in a wicked manner before changing the topic, "Anyways, do you need to stitch your abdon back up?"
"No need, Young Master. I have another way to nd my wounds, but thank you." Iris didn't want Ronald to work hard for her sake again just like he did last night and so she declined.
"Alright then, since it's already almost 6 pm anyways, I'll also graciously allow you to take the rest of the night off. Just rember to resu your maid duties promptly tomorrow morning, understood?" Ronald checked the ti on his custom diamond watch and then said haughtily.
"Understood, Young Master. Thank you again, and have a good rest of your night." Iris smiled lightly as she politely bowed.
Afterwards, she went upstairs and into her room, leaving Ronald once again completely alone in the living room.

'Didn't Iris achieve the 5th level of the Body Tempering Realm after cultivating for just half of a night?'
'Not to ntion the fact that she spent about 25% of that ti also constructing a dagger.'
