I watched him run as I tried to understand the words he spoke. He’s leaving for Howl’s Academy because I didn’t accept his offer. He changed classes because of , and now he’s changing schools?
"Strawberry," Storm placed his hand on my shoulder. You can say I was expecting him to do that. It was why the action didn’t startle as much as it would have.
I glanced back at him, "he’s leaving because of ."
I know it’s not my fault, and I can’t force myself to love him, but I felt guilty. If only I didn’t befriend him after I bumped into him on his first day here.
Had I stayed in my lane, two people wouldn’t have had their hearts broken. Ray wouldn’t have fallen in love with him, and I wouldn’t have had to reject his confessions.
"No, it’s not because of you." Storm gently wiped the tear I didn’t notice off my eyes before he placed his right hand under my chin, and made look up at him. "You aren’t the one at fault. That your friend is suspicious."
"What did you say?" I tried not to sound biting because it sounded as if he was accusing Sky.
He shrugged, "I don’t know why I felt that way, but that your friend is hiding sothing from you."
"Sothing like what?"
"I don’t know. I saw him with Mr Kim yesterday. They conversed a bit before Mr Kim gave him sothing wrapped in black clothes. I believe sothing is going on with the two."
"He said they just t here. Mr Kim might have sent him on an errand," I stepped back, "it’s ti for breakfast. Co on, I know Ray will be super worried about ."
He will have my head for not being back last night. And not only that, but I sent Storm over to get my clothes when I could have done that.
Storm didn’t say a word as he followed into the building. I strode past the students who were going for breakfast. The mont we stepped into the cafeteria, Ray and Theo called out at the sa ti.
Ray is sitting at our table, while Theo is sitting at theirs. I glanced at the two as I tried to decide where to go. Should I follow Storm or what?
Storm silently stood behind as he patiently waited for to decide on where to go.
At the last minute, I turned and headed towards Ray, who grinned when he noticed I wasn’t going over to Theo’s.
"Did you get breakfast for ?" I asked the mont I sat on my chair.
He wrinkled his nose, "I did, man. But why do you sll like you got dipped in orange?" He narrowed suspicious eyes at , "your pheromones scent seed to have mingled with that of another."
"Well..." I blushed, "I... You see... It..."
"Was it Storm?" He smiled. "Did you do it with him? Was that why you didn’t return to the dorm?" He wriggled his brows as he leaned down.
"Why did you think it’s him?" I turned my face to the side as my cheeks turned blood-red.
"I knew it!" He clapped. "You finally got your cheery popped by the big bad Alpha," he chuckled.
"Shut up!" I hissed at him.
"Why?" He smirked. "So, how did it feel? Your first ti?" He looked serious.
I would have flipped him off had it not been for the expression on his face. He looked curious.
"Well, it was amazing," I took a fry and stuffed my mouth with it as if it could stop my embarrassnt.
"Wow!" He hit his palm on the table. "So..."
I stared up when I noticed him staring behind . "What’s wrong? Why did you pause?"
I turned to check what he was looking at. Behind , Storm and Theo had their trays in hand as they ca over to our table.
"Your boyfriend is here," Ray whispered in not so much of a whisper. I bet Storm and Theo heard him.
"What are you doing here?" I asked Storm the mont he sat next to .
"He wanted to be next to you at all tis. I bet he’s going to change classes, so he could sit next to you," Theo grumbled as he sat next to Ray, whose blush seed more pronounced than mine.
"Is that a bad thing?" Storm took a fry from my tray, but I pretended to be blind.
"He took your fry!" Ray gasped.
"And?" I raised a brow at him.
"You don’t share, do you?" He looked like he didn’t understand any more. "You always hit whenever I take your fries."
"You are not Storm, darling." I turned to my boyfriend.
Oh my God!
I said it out loud.
Storm is my boyfriend!
"That’s right. You are not his boyfriend," he leaned in and kissed on my mouth, without feeling an ounce of sha.
I blushed, embarrassed, but thrilled that he was showing a PDA.
"Goddess, quit it, will you? There are single people here, alright?" Ray waved his hand.
"Suck it in."
"Is it only or did you get extra handso? Even your smile seems seductive," Theo stared at . "Your lips are extra glossy."
Storm growled under his throat as he narrowed his golden eyes at his friend. He possessively took in his arms, so I ended up sitting on his damned thighs.
In the presence of all the students in the cafeteria!
Well, I’m not complaining, am I? I love it!
This way, they will know that my Storm is taken.
"Chill, man. I don’t dig my friend’s boyfriend. If I need one, I have a cute Oga beside ," he winked at Ray, who blushed like a fool as he stuffed his mouth with his fries, to hide how embarrassed he was.
"Adorable," Theo whispered as he stared at Ray, who hadn’t looked up since he said those first words.
I watched them with a smile, hoping they get together.
Don’t get wrong, I’m no matchmaker. I just think my friend deserves happiness. That’s all.
