White House officials watching this scene erupted in celebration. The terrible crisis seed to be turning around, which thrilled them all.

Ordinary people had no say in their fate. If they died, they died. But these politicians were different. They'd sacrificed so much to climb to their current positions. Dying randomly to so rampaging monster felt profoundly unjust. Now that the monster was about to be eliminated by the heroes—though these heroes' abilities were admittedly abnormal, at least they could communicate and negotiate. The President and his colleagues were already viewing future events through a political lens.

The only unhappy person in the White House was Luthor. "How is this possible? Doomsday is losing? They're actually this powerful..."

Luthor helped himself to paper from the President's desk and began calculating.

"It needs three more complete evolutions to defeat this woman?" Luthor felt like he'd lost another handful of hair, muttering to himself.

What? This thing could keep evolving? The officials, who'd been thinking politically, instantly shrank back to the perspective of human survivors. What were they waiting for? Kill it now!

The President didn't know how many tis he'd called Thea today. Her previous phone had been destroyed in combat. Her blue dress armor was impressive, but old man Zeus hadn't designed pockets into it. She used phones on a disposable basis. Each ti, FBI agents risked their lives to deliver new ones.

Since ti was critical, the President briefly inquired about Thea's condition before addressing how to eliminate Doomsday.

"Luthor says this thing will be unstoppable after three more evolutions. Do you have any other thods?"

Thea was noncommittal. Luthor probably didn't know that from now on, Doomsday could only be disabled. The Sword of Victory and Oaths had severed its arm at a fundantal level. Without intervention from those whose nas cannot be spoken, or a chief god at Zeus's level, that arm would never regenerate.

"We have a way to completely eliminate it, but we need ti. Ah, here he cos." Thea hung up as Batman returned with a kryptonite spear.

Superman, having recovered at the sun, landed majestically. Unfortunately, there was nothing left for him to do.

Under Diana's wild assault, Doomsday's cellular repair couldn't keep pace with the damage. Its body was riddled with holes, being ground into the dirt like a rag.

Everyone looked at Batman's glowing green kryptonite spear. Who would deliver the final blow?

Superman and Supergirl's faces literally turned green—not taphorically green, but actually green. This massive chunk of kryptonite, even without skin contact, made them dizzy, weak-kneed, and cramping. They had to decline this noble task.

"Batman, you should do it. This is humanity's matter." Thea held back Diana, whose energy burst had ended. The Amazon warrior bore heavy strain from wielding such extraordinary power. Only soone with her physical strength could endure it; an ordinary person would simply explode.

Batman didn't refuse. Relying on his world-class evasion skills, he approached Doomsday with the spear.

The brutalized Doomsday was barely recognizable. Covered in wounds, both eyes blinded, its lower body twisted at a bizarre angle, its remaining arm still tried grasping at Batman. Its cells continued evolving, but Diana's beating had left its body increasingly deford.

Batman easily sidestepped the grab, stepped on Doomsday's neck, gripped the spear with both hands, and drove it down toward the creature's head.

Even in this wretched state, Doomsday shouldn't have been easy prey for Batman.

However, kryptonite's power neutralized Doomsday's formidable hide. This bio-weapon, created from Kryptonian genetic material, wasn't perfect after all. Under Batman's "great strength," the kryptonite spear inch by inch penetrated into the brain, finally piercing completely through.

With its powerful vitality, Doomsday continued struggling, seemingly refusing to accept defeat. Unfortunately, against kryptonite, all its efforts were futile. Its cells degraded rapidly under kryptonite's influence, the process accelerating as its resistance weakened.

Finally, this monster symbolizing apocalypse for countless races reached the end of its life. Countless chaotic consciousnesses began dissipating. Its deford head gradually lost vitality under the kryptonite spear's influence.

Then its body, its limbs. Doomsday t its own doom. The twisted left arm spasd wildly, as if trying to grab sothing. The heavy arm finally succumbed to death, striking the ground heavily and raising a cloud of dust. It was dead.

Ugh! The won were all exhausted. Even Supergirl, in the best condition, plopped down on the ground. If Superman had terrible kryptonite resistance, hers was even worse. Before today, she'd never known about kryptonite. Just being near it made her feel incredibly weak.

Diana was equally exhausted. Energy far exceeding her body's capacity left her sitting on the ground listlessly.

Thea's condition wasn't good either, though she was sowhat faking it—not as weak as she appeared.

Having beaten Doomsday to death without using her prepared kryptonite weapons and sealing equipnt saved her from awkward explanations about her preparations.

She secretly checked her ntal space. The Scales of Order approved of her actions, granting her another large amount of willpower. She'd taken another step toward contacting the "Source" at the Source Wall.

The so-called "important people" arrived right on schedule—after the battle was already over.

The arrival was the Vice President, whom Thea had t a few tis. Unlike his official relationship with the President, the VP shared so friendship with Moira—they were alumni.

Accompanying him was, naturally, the bold and fearless Amanda.

"Is this thing truly dead?" That was the Vice President's primary concern. From a distance, he hadn't felt much, but up close, seeing this ten-ter-tall deford monster made his spine tingle.

Thea walked over and kicked it twice, confirming it was indeed dead. The Vice President secretly wiped sweat from his brow, then rembered his mission and asked tentatively, "This corpse?"

Thea shrugged indifferently. Superman and Batman imdiately voiced opposition.

In the original tiline, Superman died alongside Doomsday, but at this point, with Thea's interference, the creature barely glimpsed Superman before dying. Superman had ditated in the sun for half an hour, erging to find the enemy on its last breath. After achieving "great power," he discovered the enemy was already dead. He was actually quite frustrated.
