Chen Ku also shot Mingsheng Nan an unfriendly look, waiting for his response.

Lan Fuxi was montarily taken aback but then nodded in agreent. That’s right, Junior Brother Chen doesn’t have much of a reputation yet; he doesn’t need to be tied down by this list.
Unexpectedly, it was Mingsheng Nan who chid in at this mont, speaking to the ssenger, "ssenger, you may leave. Indeed, Brother Chen has no reason to accept Young Hero Zhao’s invitation."
The ssenger paused silently for a mont, then slunk away dejectedly.

Chen Ku and Lan Fuxi watched Mingsheng Nan depart.
Chen Ku then said to Lan Fuxi, "Since this matter is settled, I’ll go pay my respects to Master."
Lan Fuxi, however, felt his resolve shaken by Mingsheng Nan’s words. He didn’t say much, just nodded silently.

Chen Ku bowed respectfully. "Disciple pays respects to Master."
"Junior Brother, I heard you’ve been placed on so list that even I didn’t make..." Yang Shaoqi popped up from behind Chen Ku, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Isn’t that a good thing? Shouldn’t we go to Hongyan Tower for a celebratory al?"
Chen Ku was sowhat bemused. "Senior Brother, you didn’t see what happened in the front hall just now. Being on that list isn’t necessarily a good thing; soone has already co to challenge ."
"A challenge?" Yang Luochen, seated in his Taishi Chair, asked with interest.
Before long, he had heard the whole story from Chen Ku.
He chuckled. "What are you afraid of? It’s just a challenge from an Ancient Elephant Sect heir from the Inner City. Although their Nine Dragons Union certainly has so tricks, the first form of your Furious Ape Mighty Staff has reached great achievent. Combined with your Four Elephants Root Bone, it’s safe to say you’re unbeatable below the Mystic Barrier."
Chen Ku coughed. "Master, Disciple has never been one to seek fights."
