Su Lu gazed at the blue speck of light.
The peculiar breath certainly had a certain allure to Him.
“What use is it to a [Creator]?”
“We suspect that ‘Source’ is a higher-order world essence that can be directly drawn by the [Creator], or diluted billions of tis and rged into the world, benefiting our world as much as winning a domain war.”
Sia’s voice beca more somber.
Su Lu, too, was ntally invigorated, knowing that the real topic had arrived.
“A domain war?”
“Yes, it takes place in the eighth layer of the Spirit World, a contest between two [Creators] who carry worlds…
A conflict relying on the worlds themselves, with the ultimate goal of completely seizing the opponent’s world.
The victor will gain all the essence of the defeated world!”
Sia explained to Su Lu, “During the war, [Creators] must not intervene directly.”
“Sounds…
...
fair.”
Su Lu contemplated.
If one could keep winning like this, perhaps an imnsely powerful world could be birthed, giving rise to a [Creator] as well.
“Worlds differ from one another, though.”
Sia slowly shook her head, “In the core area of the eighth layer of the Spirit World, there lies the ‘True Mainland,’ the true battlefield of the [Creators]’ worlds, a bloody goldmine…
nurous world armies of the [Creators] battle on that land.”
She detailed for Su Lu that the [Creators] of the eighth layer of the Spirit World generally belong to two schools.
One carries worlds, waging various wars to augnt their world’s essence, known as ‘World Lords.’
The other is solitary voyagers, exploring the boundless Void beyond the True Mainland, hoping to find ‘Source,’ the lone travellers.
These two are rely different in style, but in truth, their actions all aim at the sa goal—to break through the realm above the [Creator]!
“So, do you need my help then?” Su Lu asked.
“No need…” Sia declined the offer, “Before the collision of worlds, I had already ford a sacred covenant with Yemodo, the [Creator] of the World of White Whale.
Besides our own non-involvent, if any third-party forces erge, both sides must imdiately strike at them.”
Su Lu understood.
Indeed, the [Creators] were no fools; they wouldn’t leave such loopholes during the great battle.
After a rich banquet, Su Lu offered his farewells.
He left the World Tree with a slight smile on his face, “Indeed…
as Outsiders and World Lords have no direct conflict of interest, the other side has welcod warmly.
It’s a show of good faith…”
If it were a Creator on the path of the lone traveller he t first, it might not have been so simple.
“And…
this region is only the periphery of the explored areas of the eighth layer of the Spirit World.
The core is the ‘True Mainland,’ the battleground for many worlds…
And beyond, in the peripheral foggy area, many lone travellers are in exploration.”
Su Lu thought it over, deciding to first visit the center of the eighth layer of the Spirit World.
It was then that He felt another gaze upon Him.
It was Yemodo, the [Creator] of the World of White Whale!
The being didn’t have a human form, appearing to be a gigantic lifeform, yet without extending an invitation.
He rely watched quietly as Su Lu departed.
…
The True Mainland.
Su Lu had just arrived in the outsider world when he was deeply shocked by the scene he saw.
This continent was boundlessly vast, with different worlds rooted upon it, forming distinct ‘nations.’
Among them were legions entirely composed of angels, chaotic demon creatures from the Abyss, humans coexisting with giant beasts, and chanical and spirit life existing together.
In this place called the Realm of All Spirits, as long as one could imagine it, all forms of life and nations were present.
The constant warring and forming of alliances between nations was an unceasing spectacle.
“Behind every world, there is a [Creator] pulling the strings; they all have reservations about each other and wouldn’t allow any one power to dominate, so the situation is very stalemate…”
With just one glance, Su Lu beca thoughtful.
He looked towards his attribute panel.
[Spirit Summoning Skill], [Spirit Magic], [Divine Incarnation], and other skills flickered while several avatars erged.
“Go.”
Su Lu waved his hand, instructing his avatars to conceal their breath and descend into different corners of the ‘true continent.’
rely coming here and observing the various social formations and life forms as an incarnation felt extrely worthwhile to Su Lu.
As for his true body, it was cautiously hiding in the Void.
Decades passed, and a constant stream of information flowed back to him.
Su Lu’s expression went through a series of changes.
“As expected…
the true continent is a vast gamble, but there’s more than one or two [Creators] at the table…
If the eventual winner cleans out the others, their world will beco incredibly rich and have a great chance of breaking through ‘above a Creator’…”
“And currently, the more notable ‘winners’ at the table are the ‘Demon,’ ‘Archangel,’ and ‘Shadow of the Scales’…”
These three were all aliases of the Creators.
Amongst them, Su Lu strongly suspected that the ‘Demon’ was in fact the very body of that initial Demon Sovereign!
Although he had thought the other party was definitely at the level of a [Creator], he had not anticipated them to be so powerful.
“In fact, these three are quite fearso even among [Creators], not only in terms of personal strength but also commanding terrifying armies…
In actuality, if not for the other [Creators] also fearing them and forming a tacit understanding and exclusion, the ultimate winner would have probably erged from among these three long ago…”
“Besides them, among the independent [Creators], there are also quite formidable characters…”
Thinking this, Su Lu felt sowhat embarrassed.
The [Creator] of the world he had originally left was now nowhere to be found.
And his breakthrough had been premature; he had left after only reaching the ninth tier and had not achieved the tenth tier in that world, jumping out of the pond ahead of ti and quite disastrously tricking that [Creator].
Otherwise, the other could perhaps have used that to attempt to break through the bottleneck of the eleventh tier!
“However, I only know of one thod for a [Creator]’s breakthrough, which, I speculate, involves nurturing a [Creator] within one’s own world.
But as a soul Outsider, am I truly a creature of the Realm of All Spirits?”
Upon reflection, Su Lu found the conclusion to be sowhat complicated.
“Moreover, that [Creator], nad Hemong, is a lone wanderer who has always road outside the true continent, in search of the traces of ‘Source’…”
Su Lu had also received information about this [Creator].
“For now, it’s not advisable for to et him; when the opportunity is right later on, I can make so compensation…”
Regarding the one he had tricked, Su Lu still felt a slight sense of guilt.
