Ah-da-da-da-da—!!
Darkness, yet visible. No air, yet breathable. No sense of ti… This was the rift between dinsions.
Amidst floating, shattered islands, a swift figure was darting across one of the floating landmasses.
His na was unusual: Yu Danqiang.
That ah-da-da-da sound clearly ca from Yu Danqiang himself.
He wielded a pair of nunchaku made from two nearly identical bones, wore a white tank top, baggy shorts, and... slippers.
Behind him lay the corpses of hundreds of Void Abyss Demons, of various sizes—thankfully, none of the stronger species. If there were, Yu Danqiang would’ve had to run for his life in his slippers.
“Can you stop making that weird sound?” A lazy-looking young man nearby scratched himself and yawned.
It’s about the vibes, okay? You don’t get it!
Even so, Yu Danqiang tucked the bone nunchaku under his arm and respectfully bowed before the man. “Master Musashi.”
Because even now, Yu Danqiang could shout “I can take on ten!”—even a hundred!—but he still couldn’t beat Musashi.
Musashi could lie still and not even fight back, and Yu Danqiang wouldn’t be able to even scratch him—Musashi could probably pierce him with a single nose hair. That’s how hardcore it was.
Yu Danqiang didn’t know how long he had been trapped in this place—it felt like a few days, or maybe ages. He was starting to miss his fish ball noodle stall.
“Master Musashi, I feel like these Void Abyss Demons are no longer a match for . Can we switch maps now?” he asked humbly.
He loved this feeling of getting stronger—most importantly, he never paid to win, and he wasn’t bald!
“Well then…” Musashi yawned again.
Just then, a flash of light shot through the void, landing before Musashi. His lazy eyes suddenly sharpened, and he gave Yu Danqiang a playful smile.
He stood up. “Alright. I’ll take you to a new map. Ti to grind levels.”
“What map?” Yu Danqiang was pumped.
Musashi smiled. “Heaven.”
…
Just graduated from the newbie village, and already about to enter a nightmare-level final boss dungeon? What now?
Yu Danqiang trembled, curling up in a corner, terrified of his "limited-ti fate."
He saw all sorts of characters: so looked like shadows—unidentifiable; so had holy light effects—blinding, yet unrecognizable; so had visible faces, yet forgettable; and so… you knew they were there, but couldn’t see or touch them.
Yu Danqiang only recognized three:
The fat man nad Dong Zhuo—who fought Little Saint, dropped a token, and caused Yu Danqiang to enter the dinsional rift.
Zangjian from the Eternal Night Palace.
And his own ntor, Musashi.
“So this is the lucky guy who found my token?” Dong Zhuo smirked, eyeing Yu Danqiang.
Yu Danqiang was especially terrified because Dong Zhuo was casually snacking on a Void Abyss Demon leg—yes, eating them!
“Yes,” Musashi replied lazily. “The dinsional rift is a bizarre place. This guy’s body had already stopped developing and was declining. Yet sohow, he started growing again.”
“Oh?” Dong Zhuo rubbed his chin, grabbed Yu Danqiang like a chick, fiddled with him a bit, then tossed him aside. “Too skinny. But the super growth talent’s not bad. Musashi, train him up. I’ll eat him another day.”
“Master Dong, he’s kind of my half-disciple… Not really appropriate, is it?” Musashi still smiled.
Dong Zhuo shrugged, pulled another Void Demon leg from his pocket, and continued munching… Yu Danqiang broke out in a cold sweat.
Except sweat didn’t exist in the rift. His feet just felt cold.
“Master Musashi, what’s super growth?” Yu Danqiang asked.
“Didn’t Zangjian tell you?” Musashi asked curiously.
Yu Danqiang glanced at the ditating Zangjian, shook his head.
Musashi thought for a mont. “Well, this place is weird. Anything illogical becos reasonable. Take you, for instance. You’re just a useless middle-aged man. But here, you’ve been given a special talent.”
“You an… super growth?” Yu Danqiang’s eyes lit up.
“Technically, yours isn’t full super growth, just a low-tier version. Still, it’s the seed of a gift. If you evolve it later, you’ll gain special attributes—and others won’t be able to tell easily.”
“So… what do I have exactly?”
“Hmm… let’s call it ‘second puberty.’ It slightly raises your growth potential. For reference, Master Dong’s talent is also super growth, but his is the best-known form—super extre growth.”
“What about you, Master Musashi?” Yu Danqiang asked respectfully.
Musashi narrowed his eyes. “Let tell you sothing: unless soone reveals their gift willingly, asking about it here will get you eaten.”
Yu Danqiang… resud limited-ti fear mode, hiding obediently behind Musashi and Zangjian, silently observing the powerful figures around him.
He couldn’t count how many there were. Each one felt like Musashi or Zangjian—like they could sneeze and kill him.
They clustered in small groups, forming two large factions overall, seemingly ignoring each other in peace.
Yu Danqiang couldn’t understand their conversations… It was a language he could technically hear but couldn’t comprehend—like the very definition of language rejected him.
So he kept a low profile and tried to morize anything he could. For example:
A man dressed like Musashi was nad Oda.
A flamboyantly charming man in red robes who flirted with everyone was called Longyang.
And then there was Daji, so beautiful it felt unreal—just one glance could make you fall.
Dong Zhuo… Daji?
Emmm…
Yu Danqiang trembled harder, too scared to even breathe.
Just then, a new arrival entered the rift—a white-haired old foreigner followed by a dangerous-looking man.
Dong Zhuo perked up, jiggling like a at mountain as he greeted them.
…
“So this is the newcor you’re guiding, Albert?”
The old man had to tilt his head to see Dong Zhuo’s massive face. He was polite—much more than Dong Zhuo. “Long ti no see, Master Dong. This is Robert.”
The young man behind Albert had a sharp gaze, eyeing Dong Zhuo like a hungry wolf hiding in the bushes.
“What a lively little guy. I like him,” Dong Zhuo laughed heartily.
Albert smiled and said, “Master Dong’s praise is a recognition of my work... I’ve heard that the newcor you guided is also quite remarkable. Upon arrival, he gained the favor of Lord Qichadiqisha of the Hall of Thrones and stayed by his side.”
“That’s why I’ve been pretty idle lately—eat, sleep, sleep, eat,” Dong Zhuo said, having unknowingly finished gnawing on his second Void Demon leg.
“Well then, Albert, I’ll go greet the others.”
The at mountain moved again.
“Who is that guy?” Robert frowned.
Ever since he failed to snipe the Xuanyuan royal princess and was saved by Albert, he had been involved in one of the old man’s bizarre experints… a terrifying quantum collision experint.
He survived it—and gained power far beyond what he once had. Yet, when facing Albert, he still felt completely outmatched. Everyone here was like Albert.
He used to be a Divine General of the Michael’s Society, one of the most powerful groups in the world. There were a few stronger than him—like the 26 Council Seats, the invincible True Dragon of Divine Land, and that sa Xuanyuan princess who had counter-killed him with ease.
But his instincts told him: everyone here was even more terrifying—whether at the sa level or far beyond. He couldn’t gauge their true power, only that it was frightening.
And... there were so many of them.
“Master Dong beca a Transcendent long before ,” Albert said with a faint smile. “There’s no concept of ti in the dinsional rift, but in the various Main Worlds, he beca Transcendent nearly two thousand years before I did. Though there’s no hierarchy among Transcendents, Master Dong is still one of the few capable of organizing the group… at least in terms of coordination. We’re generally very free. We only gather when sothing major happens.”
“Like this ti?” Robert’s expression grew grim.
He had already heard so things from Albert on the way… things he hadn’t even dared to imagine before.
“Listen—Transcendents don’t formally rank one another. Most of us are equals. But those who possess Thrones—the Throne Holders—reside in the Hall of Thrones. They are the founders of the Transcendents, and we owe them our respect.”
As Albert spoke, his expression grew solemn… and not just his—Transcendents of all shapes and powers nearby had subconsciously fallen silent.
In an instant, Robert understood. Only sothing above even these Transcendents could make them go quiet without a word.
Robert took a deep breath—despite not needing to breathe here.
“I’m glad so many of you have arrived.”
The voice echoed directly in their minds.
It ca from a white silhouette—indistinct, with only simple outlines of a mouth and eyes.
But the mont it spoke, its terrifying presence crushed the aura of every Transcendent present and struck straight into Robert’s soul. He finally understood just how fearso a Throne was. Even just its voice could make his soul tremble—despite how powerful he had beco.
“Greetings, Throne Archides.”
Voices spoke in unison.
Robert took another deep breath. Hearing this na stunned him. It was the second Throne’s na he’d ever learned. The first had been the Qichadiqisha ntioned earlier by Albert and Master Dong.
Transcendents had no formal chain of command. They were mostly independent. Even the Throne’s summons didn’t require attendance—so were still reclusive in their own worlds, so wandered the dinsional rift, and others were in Main Worlds, maybe sipping coffee in a café.
So were still out searching for new candidates—like Wolfgang, who was known for dragging newbies into extre difficulty tests.
Those who didn’t want to show up... simply wouldn’t.
“I believe those of you present already know what we’re here for,” the Throne’s voice rang out again.
“Noah has fallen into Heaven. He’s the only one who can control the Ark. We need to free him.”
In short—it was Transcendents vs. Heaven.
“If you have questions, now is the ti. I will answer them.”
The Transcendents remained silent… until a dark-skinned man beside Daji stepped forward.
“Throne, during a Void Demon capture, I encountered sothing that must be shared.”
“Oh? Solomon, please tell us what you discovered.”
The dark-skinned man—Solomon—spoke seriously:
“While capturing Void Demons, Daji and I may have discovered traces of a Void Asura.”
The once-silent Transcendents suddenly burst into murmurs and reaction—because they knew exactly what a Void Asura was.
