"I’ll leave it to you now."
"Rest assured."
"We will make sothing lovely, rest assured."
The elders reassured him before closing the doors of the master forge.
The two of them knew what KiRA wanted and they were done gathering materials and with their preparations.
They were ready for the creation and, since there were only around sixty hours left on their hands, they knew they had to use all the ti that they had...
"Shall we?"
The Li elder nodded at that question and looked at the forge that was pulsating with a silver fla– flas of the highest ranks that one could find in the lower floors.
The flas were said to have originated from a mysterious phenona during an ancient storm. It was passed down in very few of the dwarven tribes, and their tribe was one of the fortunate ones to possess it.
Still, these special flas weren’t sothing simple, or sothing just anyone could handle.
-Oooooooooooong!
The mont the barrier covering the furnace was lifted and the flas were exposed, their radiation instantly impacted everything around them.
The temperature inside the room had suddenly increased several folds. The new temperature was sothing no human could handle even for a few seconds.
The flas were so strong even while being so controlled that even the two elders were feeling their heat. However, the strong burning sensation on their tough skin only made them smile wider.
They were feeling a little sad that they could not feel this sensation and passion for so long, but now that they were finally doing this, they wanted to be locked in.
"Let us begin."
They started by putting on their gear and went to their workstations.
One with deep green eyes was in charge of the refinent of the materials and the Li elder was in charge of the processing of the resulting materials.
There were going to be three stages in this creation process: Core creation, Body creation, and Enhancent.
-Swing! Swing!
The hamrs that they were holding were the sa hamrs that their elders had used in their ti to create the last works of their lives.
The two of them had co here to spend the last days of their lives. And yet, the fact that they were here, in this grand workshop, for the creation of sothing so unique... they could not believe it.
-Trtrtrtrtrtrtr...
The burning silver flas ignited the young passion that they used to possess in their pri.
"Hupp!"
They started with the Branch of the ancient tree and threw it inside the furnace along with a few catalysts.
-Burrrrrr...!
The golden sparks as the silver branch t the silver flas was a sight to behold, a sight that KiRA could only see with Unity’s eyes through her new skill.
The ability to share her senses with others allowed them to witness this special creation process directly, so they just sat there and continued their work.
’The core creation alone might take more than half a day.’
There was only one furnace so they could not work on the other parts until the core was finished. And the core was also going to be the most difficult elent of this item, making it a priority.
-Burrrrrr!
The flas roared and started burning, lting the materials inside the furnace.
The temperature inside the furnace was high enough to lt even the strongest of tals. Diamonds would have vaporized had they been even at the entrance of the furnace, and perhaps a few other tals would have faced the sa fate.
But not the branch. The wooden stick resisted the silver flas fiercely.
Had it not been for the catalysts that tore away at the outside layers of the wood and speeded the process, they would have needed weeks if not days to finish just this process.
Thankfully, they were in their grand forge, the place where they had many precious materials stored up just for occasions like these.
[Barrier Effect: 59:00:31.]
The barrier had stayed for long. KiRA was glad he had the right kind of money at the right kind of ti...
’If not fate, this must be the work of causality. And if that is the case, I’m not going to have an easy ti after getting this item.’
The equation was clear: Sothing that affects causality negatively will always be offset by a positive affecting effect sowhere, in one way or another.
The ’eternal balance’ that was maintained within the tower’s various elents was governed by one of the laws.
’Good luck and bad luck, accidents and fortunes, fate and destiny, evil and good... there is a strange balance within the tower that will always remain in [Equilibrium].’
KiRA knew there would be consequences for obtaining sothing so unfairly powerful. But, he did not worry about that right now.
[Barrier Effect: 56:10:42.]
With each hour passing, he was watching the two elders prepare for the next steps while waiting for the materials inside the furnace to get ready.
-Zaaaaaaa...
They used various tools to create molds, elder Blaik used his expertise and started working on the elents that they will need at the very last, creating a fra and ornantal elents for the item.
[Barrier Effect: 48:42:12.]
An entire day had passed and the materials were finally ready.
"Haaa!"
They knew it was ready imdiately so they carefully took out the lted material out and placed the boiling lava-like substance inside the molds that they had prepared already.
-Ptsssssss...!
There was a reaction when the molten tal t the mold, sothing the Li Elder controlled with his precise manipulation of the Mana in the atmosphere.
’They will start the song now...’
KiRA watched the two elders now bringing their attention to the materials before them.
-Swiiiiiiiiiiiish...
To create the core, they slted the materials a few tis, molded them to fit their requirents, and gave the core their final form.
Following that, they worked on the body of the item– the final product was going to resemble a simple handguard bracer, however, what they were making right now did not resemble sothing so simple.
The core itself was divided into three different sections, made into a pyramidal form to properly embody the powers of the ancient tree branch.
The three parts of the pyramids were the three endpoints that made their tips. The core was going to fit inside the guard... but it was not small enough for that.
It was quite a large elent for a bracer, sothing that might confuse even a master if they did not know what they were doing.
They were also not stopping at that. The core was the first elent while the other elents of this item contained precious strings of arcanum, materials like mithril moulded into a blade, there were small tallic elents that resembled gears, and in addition to all that, they had a tray full of fluids beside them, potions of different kind.
[Barrier Effect: 36:55:50.]
As ti continued passing, the things that they were making started making less and less sense to anyone who might be unaware of what they were doing.
[Barrier Effect: 12:59:55.]
By the ti the two elders were finished with the body work and the core, the ti that they had left on them was too little.
-Tang!
They started their final process of piecing everything together with their special magical hamrs when the clock started ticking in red.
[Barrier Effect: 11:09:22.]
-Tang! Tang!
The sound of their hamring was resonating all throughout the area, harmoniously vibrating with the atmosphere and KiRA’s body.
He could feel sothing rising within him.
-Tang! Tang! Tang!
The vibrations were tingling his mind, body, and soul. They were special, and KiRA knew they ant sothing certain.
’It’s going to be better than I expected.’
[09:55:02]
It was almost done. He could feel the uniqueness and greatness of the item.
A few more hours.
It wasn’t far.
Just a few more hours and he will have the weapon, the tool that he will use for the rest of the lower floors as his main partner.
’Yes...’
He did not expect to receive a useful weapon on the lower floors but this was a blessing from fate... or an accursed destiny that will bite him back in the ass.
