"Senior brother."

The truth of their bond ran deeper than any ordinary relationship.

Ye Tian and the Sword Demon, whose real na was Ye Zhao, had learned the art of cultivation and martial mastery from the sa master.

Bound by the unbreakable ties of shared teachings and hardships, the two considered each other brothers... a relationship which was higher than any other in their eyes.

To them, brotherhood was sacred.

To them, being brothers wasn’t just a label... it was everything.

It was a bond that forged through years of trust, sacrifice, and love.

They had been raised to protect each other, to be willing to give their lives away for one another without hesitation.

Their master had taught them this lesson, not through words but through action. A lesson that they would carry for the rest of their lives.

Ye Tian had not been born into a life of privilege.

He was an orphan... a frail child abandoned by the world.

Weak, starving, and without a na, he had been left to beg on the streets for scraps of food.

It was during one such evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, that his small body finally gave in to the unrelenting hunger.

Just as he was about to collapse, fate intervened.

A warm dumpling was placed into his trembling hands.

Ye Tian’s blurry vision cleared just enough to see another boy, older and stronger, kneeling before him.

Without a word, Ye Tian pounced onto the dumpling like a starving cat.

The boy didn’t speak. He simply sat with him, steadying Ye Tian as he ate.

It was the first ti Ye Tian had experienced kindness.

Afterward, the boy took him by the hand and led him to his ho, introducing him to his master.

The master, seeing potential in Ye Tian despite his frailty, decided to take him in.

"From now on, you are Ye Tian. You will carry the Ye na, and you will be part of this family" the master declared.

From that day forward, Ye Tian had a na, a ho, and a brother... Ye Zhao, who would one day beco known as the Sword Demon.

When Ye Tian had first summoned the Sword Demon as a familiar, he had masked his emotions.

The figure that had appeared before him was not Ye Zhao... the loving older brother who had once sacrificed his life for Ye Tian’s survival.

It was the Sword Demon... a cold, ruthless sword cultivator whose very na struck fear into the hearts of cultivators.

But now, things were different.

The brother standing before him wasn’t just a shell of his forr self.

He was Ye Zhao... his personality, his mories, his very essence was fully restored.

The way Ye Zhao had smiled and called him "junior brother" in that familiar tone erased all doubt.

For the first ti in years, Ye Tian felt sothing he hadn’t allowed himself to feel in a long ti...

And that was trust.

Ye Zhao was the only person in the entire cosmos Ye Tian could rely on without question... Blindly...

Ye Tian’s gaze softened.

"Senior brother, I’ll be upgrading my powers now. Please don’t let anyone touch during the process, alright?"

Ye Zhao returned the look with a grin.

"Alright! Leave it to , junior brother. No one will get past ."

Nodding, Ye Tian descended to the ground, sitting cross-legged in the center of the hall.

He closed his eyes and exhaled deeply, steadying his mind.

He began activating his mana circles, one by one.

With the first circle, a faint glow enveloped his body.

By the fourth circle, the air in the hall grew heavy with energy, forcing the mages to start feeling the growing pressure.

By the eighth circle, the castle itself began to tremble, shrouded in the dense aura of his mana.

And when the ninth circle was activated, the imnse power of his mana covered the entire island, creating a ripple in the atmosphere that could be felt from miles away.

"One step left..." Ye Tian muttered to himself.

What remained was the final, most difficult step... elevating his soul to create the tenth mana circle... a feat that would place him among the ranks of the so called... gods.

But this was no ordinary task either.

Creating a mana circle around the soul was like threading a needle in the dark.

A single mistake could cause the soul to collapse, ceasing to exist entirely.

Ordinary souls couldn’t survive such a process.

But Ye Tian’s soul was a completely different breed.

His soul had endured countless tribulations, growing stronger with each challenge.

Yet, even for him, this task ca with its own risks.

His soul power wasn’t infinite either... and after being used several tis at full capacity with no ans to replenish the energy, could only be used one last ti.

This was his last chance.

"Failure is not an option." Ye Tian whispered.

Focusing his mind, Ye Tian began guiding his mana toward the core of his body, centering it in his chest.

He felt the essence of his soul, reaching out to it as if touching it with his own hands.

Once familiar with the sensation, he started condensing the mana into a single, delicate thread.

The thread began to move on its own, slowly weaving itself around his soul.

Minutes turned into hours as Ye Tian worked...

Finally, the thread was in place.

Now, all that remained was to strengthen it and establish connections to his mana channels.

However, the gods were not blind to what was happening.

High above, in realms beyond the reach of mortals, the divine beings watched Ye Tian’s actions with growing unease.

They understood what was at stake.

If Ye Tian succeeded, he would ascend to their ranks... a possibility they could not allow.

He was afterall... A threat.

A danger to the balance of power in the cosmos.

One of the gods, enraged by Ye Tian’s audacity, acted.

A massive surge of mana condensed above the castle, taking the shape of a colossal golden sword.

The blade radiated divine energy, its very presence was enough to suffocate the mages and causing so to collapse.

The sword shimred for a brief mont before it descended, aid directly at Ye Tian.

Ye Zhao, standing guard, felt the surge of divine energy and imdiately looked up.

His erald-green eyes narrowed as the golden sword hurtled toward the castle.
