Ye Tian took step after step, his gaze shifting across the countless weapons that floated mid-air, exuding powerful auras.
Each weapon seed unique in design and essence...
bows imbued with elental power that could obliterate entire armies, spears that could pierce the heavens, swords sharp enough to slice through the fabric of reality.
Whips crackled with energy ant for domination, while tos brimd with forbidden knowledge, their pages practically hissing with malevolence.
"Scythes wielded by death gods, huh?" he murmured, his eyes locking onto a wicked blade curved like a crescent moon.
Though impressive, not all the spaces in this massive repository were occupied.
Many slots were conspicuously empty, as if the weapons once housed there had already found masters or been claid by others.
Not bad... but none of these are even worth ntioning yet.
He thought.
This is the lower-tier arsenal... tools for the weakest of the weak.
As he moved deeper, he began to hear whispers... not from people, but from the weapons themselves.
Faint, disembodied voices slithered into his mind, so threatening him with annihilation, others pleading for him to wield them.
A few even attempted to seduce him, promising unimaginable power.
But Ye Tian was unmoved.
"These pitiful soul attacks? Is this the best you can do?" he muttered, his voice dripping with disdain. He ignored them entirely, rendering their efforts aningless.
Finally, he reached a point where the voices ceased altogether. The silence was almost eerie.
Hmm, interesting, he thought as he took another step.
The atmosphere was different here.
The aura of the weapons now felt heavier, denser.
He had entered the level of artifacts wielded by mid-tier and average-ranked gods.
Looking around, he noticed sothing peculiar.
Unlike before, where weapons were cramd together in abundance, the number of relics here was significantly lower.
But their quality far surpassed the earlier displays.
As he examined the items, the system chid in with notifications...
---
[Blade of Chaos – Forged from the remains of a collapsing star, it embodies pure destruction.]
[Wand of the Magic God – Contains endless mana and the will to bend the laws of reality.]
[The Gauntlet of the Strongest Under Heaven – Wielded by the legendary demigod Hercules.]
---
Ye Tian paused, a flicker of recognition in his eyes.
"Hercules’ gauntlet, huh? So the myths were true?"
However, as he approached the pedestal, he saw it was empty. The gauntlet had already been claid.
"Tch. Figures..." he muttered before continuing.
---
[Aegis Shield – Created by divine blacksmiths, this shield can repel even the wrath of the heavens.]
---
"So even this is here? Don’t tell the gods I knew really existed...?"
He crossed through this section quickly, brushing past the relics of legends and myths, until he entered a new area.
Here, the very air was different... thicker, suffused with an energy that almost seed alive.
If the previous weapons were reaching for the heavens, these... these are the heavens themselves.
The relics here were few in number, but their auras were overwhelming.
So pedestals were vacant, though whether their contents had been taken or never existed, he couldn’t say.
What he saw next confird his suspicions: these were no longer just weapons.
They were raw powers, the primordial authorities that governed existence itself.
---
[Samadhi Fire – The fla that burns all, leaving no ash.]
[Thunder – The authority of storms and judgnt.]
[Hellfire – The eternal fla of damnation.]
[Death – The power that claims all life.]
---
And then, there were even more abstract and broken fragnts...
---
[Infinite Mana – An endless reservoir of energy.]
[Immortality – The unattainable dream of eternal life.]
---
Ye Tian’s eyes narrowed as he scanned the items.
"So these aren’t re weapons anymore... they’re the governing forces themselves. But the state of these fragnts... they’re incomplete."
He finally reached the end of the passage.
At the very center, illuminated by a beam of ethereal light, sat a simple wooden box.
"A wooden box? Seriously? This is supposed to be the ultimate prize?"
A system notification appeared...
---
[Would you like to take a look at Your Hidden Rewards?]
---
Ye Tian crossed his arms, tilting his head.
"It better be worth it. Show ."
---
[Confirming Player Ye Tian’s request...]
[Revealing the hidden rewards...]
---
The box began to glow, radiating an otherworldly light. Slowly, its lid creaked open.
The mont the box opened even a crack, Ye Tian’s expression shifted.
A dense, overwhelming energy spilled out, saturating the air.
"This... this is divine qi!" he exclaid, his eyes widening.
"There are still remnants of the past left?"
The box opened fully, revealing its contents... two marble-like spheres resting side by side, although a bit muddy, there true appearance was still visible.
One as black as the void, the other as white as freshly fallen snow.
Both exuded an aura that scread of ancient, unshakable power.
"What the hell are these?" he muttered, reaching out cautiously.
---
[Information Error.]
---
"Oh, great. Thanks for nothing, system..." he scoffed.
He crouched down to examine the marbles more closely.
"If this is supposed to be a relic of the past... let’s try the classic thod."
Raising his hand, Ye Tian bit into his thumb. Blood welled up and dripped onto the marbles.
The instant his blood touched them, the spheres began to tremble violently.
A radiant glow enveloped them as a new notification appeared...
---
[The @##@@## are Reacting!]
---
The marbles’ muddy color began to dissolve, replaced by the unmistakable hues of life and death.
One marble turned a blinding white, radiating purity and divinity.
The other turned pitch black, emanating destruction and chaos.
The energy they released felt almost sentient, as if the very concepts of life and death had co alive.
Ye Tian’s lips curled into a faint smile.
"Now this... this is interesting."
The marbles trembled harder, their energies intertwining as they began to react more intensely.
The system’s notification flashed again...
---
[Processing...]
---
The marbles, dull and muddy, began to tremble violently.
The faint glow surrounding them grew brighter and brighter until the colors began to peel away like the shedding of an ancient shell.
Slowly, their true colors erged
