Chapter 217: Empty Church
The group knew that the feeling that flashed past was definitely not an illusion. They had confidence in their senses. At their level, they would not have such an illusion.
However, the aura of that life form was not too powerful. The Undead Archangel could easily destroy it.
No one present had any intention of looking for it since it was insignificant. If it dared to co out and cause trouble, the only thing that would welco it would be death.
After they walked out of the house, the surroundings seed to suddenly turn black and white. Pierce looked up at the sky and suddenly realized that at so point, the sky was filled with a thick layer of fog.
The thick fog blocked the moonlight, and the only light sources were the candles.
Helpless, Pierce could only summon his lantern to search the area. He had thought that this lantern would no longer be needed, but he did not expect to use it again so quickly.
It was not an issue anyway. As the candles flickered, the lantern rose up once again. The surrounding streets beca clear as day.
It was as if nothing could be hidden under the mini sun, and everything on the marble street was revealed.
In fact, their goal was actually very clear. They were going to the church in the middle. The reward should probably be there.
The few of them moved toward the church’s location.
They passed through the residential area and arrived at the center. It took them tens of minutes because they moved while admiring the dieval style buildings which were not ruined like in other towns.
After that previous instance, the aura that had appeared for an instance disappeared as if it had never appeared. However, no one present paid attention to the existence of that thing.
They arrived before the towering church. Unlike the other small towns, this church was not damaged at all, but erald green vines covered its walls.
This ant that no one had cleaned this place and it had been abandoned for a long ti.
As Pierce slowly pushed open the door, creaking sounds entered everyone’s ears, and dust fell from the door.
Fortunately, all of them were on guard. They quickly cleared the dust with their divine power. They could now look at the decorations inside the church.
However, compared to the other buildings with candles, there was no light source inside the church. If not for Pierce holding a lantern in his hand, this place would be completely dark.
The rows of benches and the pulpit were all in good condition. The windows were painted with strange patterns. It looked very gorgeous.
Pierce slowly walked to a bench and wiped the dust off it.
There was way too much dust. The environnt here was really terrible. But more importantly, he realized that there was no life aura here.
Did this an that he had found the wrong place?
No, that’s not right. After all, the buildings in the other towns were destroyed, but this place was different. This was surely an important area.
He began searching the church. But first, he would clean the place so that the dust and spiderwebs did not stick to him.
Golden divine power slowly spread out from the tip of Pierce’s feet like a circular wave. The place where this golden wave swept past instantly beca crystal clear.
If he could not even do such a trivial thing, then he would have wasted his bloodline power.
After the church was cleaned up, Pierce relaxed his brows and prepared to search for the reward.
However, at this mont, he suddenly frowned. The others instantly locked their gazes on a corner.
