Kars woke up from his sleep, imdiately becoming alert as he opened his eyes. He quickly assessed the current situation to see if he had caused any trouble. First, he wiped his mouth, confirming he hadn't drooled. Then, he looked at Yuuka Kazami’s chest. Any previous drool stains had already dried, so Kars couldn't see anything, but the fact that one of his hands was still tightly clutching her chest gave him a clue as to what had occurred.
When Kars looked up at Yuuka, he saw her resting her chin on one hand, watching him with a faint smile.
“Yu… Yuuka…” Kars felt instinctively nervous under Yuuka’s gaze, as if he were being watched by a predator. “Did I make you angry?” Kars nervously swallowed, starting to worry that he might have upset Yuuka.
“No, I’m not. Or rather, I'm slightly happy, because I found it rather amusing.” Kars didn't quite understand what she ant, but the fact that she wasn't angry helped him relax a little.
As he thought this, he saw Yuuka extend her finger towards his mouth, lightly tracing his lips. Kars looked at her, puzzled. He couldn't read Yuuka's thoughts in her eyes, but he could sense that she seed to be anticipating sothing.
I feel like Yuuka is acting a little strange, Kars thought, feeling confused about Yuuka’s slightly different behavior. His nervousness made his lips feel dry, and without thinking, he instinctively tried to lick his lips. However, Yuuka’s finger was still on his lips, causing his tongue to unavoidably brush against her finger.
Rembering the action, Kars secretly glanced at Yuuka but saw no displeased expression. She continued to look at him with a smile. Then, the pad of the finger that had been licked was placed inside his mouth. Kars didn't quite understand this action, but he instinctively began to suck gently, following what he assud she wanted. Yuuka’s smile beca even more pronounced.
After the finger was removed from his mouth, Kars looked at Yuuka with a puzzled expression and asked, “Yuuka, what are you doing?”
“I just find this action interesting. When I see sothing cute, I can’t help but tease it and gain a unique feeling I’ve never had before.” Yuuka’s answer suggested she was talking about him. “And sotis I want to do sothing more, sothing that will make the other person completely rember, perhaps even never forget, and leave a little mark of my own.”
Yuuka leaned forward, looking at Kars sitting on her lap. She wanted to completely mold Kars into the way she liked him, and her desire intensified after seeing him biting her finger. Kars looked at Yuuka’s face up close, slling the floral scent on her. Her words made him feel like a prey being stalked by a predator. Although he didn’t feel any danger, there was a sense of fatal temptation and the thought that once caught, he wouldn't be able to escape. The choice he faced was clear.
Yuuka looked at Kars, who was staring blankly at her, and simply leaned down to inhale the warm scent in his hair, finally letting out a long, satisfied breath.
Seeing Kars still motionless, Yuuka felt it was ti to act. Since he clearly hadn't rejected the bait she offered, it was ti to cast the net. She placed her finger back into Kars’s mouth. This ti, just like the first ti, she felt her finger touch his soft tongue. Yuuka looked at Kars, who was gazing at her with the look of a small animal, and felt an even greater sense of amusent than before.
After removing her finger from Kars’s mouth, Yuuka sucked her own fingertip while Kars watched. The smile she gave him made Kars’s heart beat faster. Before Kars could recover, Yuuka kissed his lips. The predator had actively struck, and the chosen prey showed no sign of resistance.
Sweet, like honey. That was Kars’s feeling. He felt like he was eating honey, especially since this honey was exactly the kind he liked, making him instinctively want more. The taste of blood then appeared, making Kars’s eyes widen slightly. He thought his vampire fangs might have pricked Yuuka's lip and tried to pull away to check, but she firmly held his head, preventing him from separating.
This made Kars realize that Yuuka had done this on purpose, especially since the taste of the blood was incredibly delicious. Once he realized it was intentional, he relaxed and began to feed. After he finished, Kars’s tongue licked the spot on Yuuka's lip where the blood had flowed. Although the wound had completely healed, and not even a scar remained, this was Kars’s habit, and Yuuka took pleasure in it.
After this act, Kars left the Field of the Sunflowers in a daze. Yuuka said nothing as he left, because everything that needed to be done was accomplished. All that remained was to weave a new lure and quietly wait for the target to return. As long as the target wouldn't leave midway, everything would be fine.
Kars returned to the Scarlet Devil Mansion, finally snapping out of the enjoyable experience at the Field of the Sunflowers. Thinking about what had happened between him and Yuuka, he felt quite excited.
The progress should be off to a good start now, right? Kars smiled happily at the thought, his steps light as he went to find Remilia to tell her the good news.
