Chapter 37: The Power of the Battle Wolf

Rin, not to be outdone, shot back, "And I don’t want to talk to a sissy like you!"
"I’m not a sissy! Shut your mouth, you tomboy!"
"Sissy brother, you listen to ! From now on, you are not allowed to touch Toriko!"

Kenji and the others were speechless. If they didn’t know they were siblings, they would have thought they were mortal enemies.
"You get used to it. They’re always like this," Toriko said with a sigh. He was long accustod to the daily squabbles between the two. If they ever t without a fight, he would think sothing was wrong.
"Ahem, you two should probably stop. If we delay any longer, the Gourt Corp will get to the Jewel at first," Kenji interjected.

"Kenji is right. It’s indeed a juvenile," Mansam confird.
"Alright, fine. I didn’t know it was a juvenile. The Chief didn’t make it clear," Sunny said, shifting the bla to Mansam.
A muscle in Mansam’s cheek twitched. Fine, I won’t stoop to this brat’s level.
"The Jewel at is up to you guys now. Don’t let the Gourt Corp capture the Regal Mammoth first."
The group nodded and set off toward the Regal Mammoth’s habitat. Kenji rode on Lotta’s back. Having a mount was a different experience, and her fluffy fur felt nice. Most importantly, it looked cool.

"Where is the Jewel at? What’s the problem?" Starjun asked, getting straight to the point.
Grinpatch explained the current situation. Starjun listened, unsurprised.
"I’ll trade places with the robot. I’ll go myself," Starjun said, crossing his arms. He decided to capture the Jewel at personally. He hoped to run into that Gourt Hunter he hadn’t seen before and test his ttle. Although Jewel at couldn’t compare to the ingredients of the Gourt World, it was still a rare delicacy in the Human World.
To get to the Regal Plateau from the research institute, they had to pass through several areas: the Black-Grass Prairie, the Mushroom Forest, the White Forest, and a swamp and the Devil’s Playground. The average Capture Level of the beasts in the 1st Biotope was 27.
The Regal Plateau and the plains were separated by a towering, vertical cliff known as the Regal Wall.

Toriko imdiately squatted down, pulled up a handful, and started chewing.
"Kenji, what’s on your Full Course nu?" Sunny asked curiously.
"I haven’t decided yet. I’ll be choosing from the ingredients of the Gourt World," Kenji replied with a smile.
"Oh ho? Ambitious," Sunny was slightly taken aback, giving Kenji a aningful look. "I also have a goal in the Gourt World."
Kenji knew, of course, that it was one of the items on Acacia’s Full Course nu. With Sunny’s current strength, he couldn’t obtain it. Not only was it in the territory of one of the Eight Kings, but it was also being watched by the Blue Nitro.

Komatsu was speechless. It was all whitening and skin-beautifying ingredients. Chief Mansam’s was all alcohol. Each had their own unique... the. But for a girl like Tina, this was a very attractive nu.
Kenji knew that when Sunny chose his ingredients, he prioritized looks first, then taste.
"By the way, Sunny is the pickiest eater among the Four Heavenly Kings. There’s no guarantee it will be delicious," Toriko reminded them.
"Shut up, Toriko! What about your Full Course nu?" Sunny was not pleased.
"I just decided on the dessert. The rest are still undecided," Toriko said, continuing to munch on the grass.
"Black-Grass with Coco-Mayonnaise," Kenji said, squeezing mayonnaise from a fruit he had picked from a tree onto the Black-Grass.
"Delicious!"
"Hmm?" Kenji sensed an uninvited guest and alerted the others. "Everyone, get back! Be careful not to get crushed."
Just as Toriko and the others were wondering what he ant, a giant spherical rock fell from the sky. They quickly dodged.
Several Rock Golems, over thirty ters tall, appeared.
"Rockdrums. A giant crustacean-type beast, Capture Level 27. They originally lived on the coast but moved inland in search of large amounts of food. They are extrely belligerent," Tina explained, reciting the details of the creature.
Sunny’s eyes lit up. The shells of Rockdrums could be made into exquisite crafts.
"Lotta, take care of two of them."
"You two can handle the other two, right?" Kenji looked at the two Heavenly Kings.
"Of course!" Toriko cracked his knuckles, and Sunny had no objections.
"AWOO!"
Lotta let out a roar. In a flash of white lightning, the two Rockdrums were instantly sliced into pieces, their rocky bodies tumbling to the ground.
This was the power of a Battle Wolf.
Toriko and Sunny were both astonished. As expected of a Battle Wolf, its strength was unfathomable. A beast with a Capture Level of over 20 had been defeated in an instant.
