Chapter 301: "The Incompetent Aglaia"
Aglaia: "..."
Sephalia: "..."
The human and the Hachimi t eyes. An awkward atmosphere instantly erged.
Aglaia had thought she might see Sephalia again one day, but she never expected it to be like this.
"Sephalia, long ti no see."
Looking at the Hachimi being held in Kenji’s hand, Aglaia spoke with a complicated tone, covering her forehead with her hand. What is this all about now?
"Ahaha... Seamstress, long ti no see, ha."
Sephalia was the most embarrassed. This was like being caught misbehaving and then being dragged over to et the parents.
If she had known this would happen, she definitely wouldn’t have co to Aohma recently.
So embarrassing.
"I also didn’t expect to et like this. Were you caught red-handed?" A rare smile appeared on Aglaia’s face.
Her own cat... she finally got to see her.
"Of course not! I was just lying there, minding my own business, and this guy just showed up!" Sephalia pouted, her mood foul.
"Seamstress, did you sign this?"
As she spoke, Sephalia took out the contract, looking nervously at Aglaia like a pitiful little animal.
"I signed it. What’s wrong?" Aglaia glanced at it and confird, but a feeling of unease suddenly welled up in her heart.
"Seamstress! I was only gone for a little while! You didn’t have to sell , did you!?"
The Hachimi’s fur stood on end, she was so mad! She couldn’t believe it was true. Her heart was shattered, and not even superglue could put it back together.
"Sephalia, what are you talking about?"
Aglaia was confused. What did she an, "sell Sephalia"?
"The evidence is right here, and you just admitted it!"
Sephalia pointed at the contract. There was no "Demigod of Cunning" here, only a heartbroken Hachimi.
Kenji held back his laughter. This was exactly what he wanted to see.
"What do you an..." Aglaia frowned, connecting Sephalia’s words in her mind.
A few seconds later, Aglaia looked at Kenji in shock. "The ’cat’ you ntioned before... you ant Sephalia?"
Kenji nodded and said, "Yeah. Cat ears, cat tail. Sephalia is a cat. It’s within the terms of the contract."
"I..." Aglaia clenched her fists. But... she also thought of Sephalia as her own Hachimi.
"No. Change it to sothing else."
Humanity 1 1 1...
In that mont, her humanity returned rapidly. Aglaia said in a resolute tone.
"The contract is proof. Are you planning to go back on your word, Aglaia?" Kenji asked unhurriedly, having anticipated this.
"Or perhaps... you don’t care if Omphalos is destroyed, as long as you have Sephalia?"
"You don’t want to see Omphalos destroyed... do you, Aglaia?"
Sephalia blinked, her lake-blue eyes shimring with joy. So Aglaia was tricked! She thought Aglaia didn’t want her anymore.
But... being happy was useless.
"You’re despicable!" Aglaia said angrily.
Humanity, in the form of "anger," welled up. In her eyes, Sephalia was different.
"Saa, choose. Sephalia, or Omphalos." Kenji was like a true villain at this mont.
"Seamstress, forget it... If he really has the power to destroy Omphalos, exchanging just is the smallest price to pay," Sephalia sighed helplessly.
She could maintain the Dawn Machine with a lie and choose to stay away from Aohma. Now, to save Aglaia from this tornt, she was willing to sacrifice herself.
"Sephalia... you..."
"I... I can’t do anything."
Seeing Sephalia give in, Aglaia clenched her fists. At this mont, she was just like an "incompetent husband."
"Password correct. Account abnormal," Kenji said with a smile.
She had spoken the "power-up password" but didn’t gain any strength.
"If you want more, ow like a cat."
"ow~ ow~"
Sephalia crouched on the ground, tilting her head up to accept Kenji’s feeding.
She had originally refused such a shaful act, but the dried fish was just too fragrant.
She couldn’t stop at all.
Aglaia watched Sephalia, who had been completely bought by delicious dried fish, and fell into thought. What was all my anger just now for?
She couldn’t sense any grievance or resistance from Sephalia anymore. If Kenji said the word, Sephalia would probably trot off with him happily.
Forget it. This Hachimi is a lost cause.
Aglaia dragged her weary body away.
Seeing this, Sephalia felt a little guilty. She had surrendered a bit too quickly. But seeing the dried fish in Kenji’s hand... Chow ti first.
ow~
Herta Space Station, Containnt Bay.
"Even top-of-the-line instrunts can only detect the superficial aspects of an Aeon?"
Ruan i looked at the collected data. For a life form as high-level as an Aeon, instrunts had their limits.
Instrunt: "An instrunt’s ability truly has a limit... I must beco sothing that surpasses instrunts... I REJECT MY INSTRUNT-HOOD!"
The instrunts here at Herta Space Station were the best in the universe, but even they weren’t enough. Aeons were just too broken.
But even so, this was enough for her to study for a long ti.
Suixing sat on the table, yawning. She had already restrained her power as much as possible for Ruan i’s examination.
Voom!
The spatial paraters changed. A scalpel, glinting with cold light, appeared and shot toward Ruan i’s forehead.
Ruan i didn’t seem to see it, her eyes still scanning the data.
"Ting!"
Suixing rely flicked a finger, intercepting the scalpel. She looked lazily at the empty air.
"Ms. Polka, a pleasure to et you. Aren’t you going to co out?" Ruan i finally looked up, her heart completely calm.
No matter how powerful Polka Kakamu was rumored to be, or how many geniuses she had hunted, in front of a true Aeon, she was still not enough.
"..."
No one responded. Ruan i wasn’t surprised. After failing to kill in one blow, a smart person wouldn’t try to court death in front of an Aeon.
"Matriarch, shall I dispose of her?" A cruel light flashed in Suixing’s eyes.
Although she was an Aeon, she still retained the cruel nature of the Swarm, just not showing it normally.
But if it was an enemy... Then run. I’ll let you run for a little while.
"As you wish," Ruan i said indifferently. She had no relationship with the "Lord of Silence."
So, whether Polka Kakamu lived or died, she wouldn’t be moved in the slightest. Just like a stranger.
"Understood."
Suixing placed a hand on her chest. Her stunningly alluring body lted into space, following the pheromones she had left on the Lord of Silence.
If you get away today, you get this: [ThumbsUp.jpg]
"Did this affect your plans? Boring."
Ruan i knew why the Lord of Silence attacked her. It was because of Suixing, this second-generation Aeon of Propagation. In Nous’s calculations, this situation probably didn’t exist.
But, she really had guts. Did she not know an Aeon was here, or did she just have so mysterious confidence in herself?
Lord of Silence vs. Aeon of Propagation.
Will she win?
