Forming a team?
Watching Wang Yue’s departing figure, Ji Haoyuan couldn’t help but fall into contemplation.
In this battle between the two sects, one person fighting alone is definitely not feasible.
Even though he was confident in his current strength, there were tis when the capabilities of an individual were inevitably limited.
Especially after going through the task jade scroll in his hand, he beca increasingly aware of the necessity of forming a team.
Because so tasks truly require cooperation from multiple people.
At which point, the strength of the teammates was not the most important thing.
The most important thing was precisely the trust between team mbers.
And this applies to those who are choosing to join a team as well.
"Haoyuan..."
At this ti, Liu Hongyu and Feng Wanqing, who were standing nearby, both turned to look at Ji Haoyuan.
Clearly, they had heard what Wang Yue had just said here as well.
The two won were obviously not the kind of people with slow reactions.
In just a short ti, they had roughly understood the importance of the so-called "team."
And what they were contemplating at this ti was evidently the sa thing as Ji Haoyuan.
Which team to join, trust, reliability, were the most critical elents.
Looking at everyone present, it seed no one was more suitable to be their leader than Ji Haoyuan.
Ji Haoyuan obviously sensed the thoughts of the two won too, and after a mont of thinking, he smiled and said to them:
"If you two fellow cultivators do not mind, let us three temporarily form a team, what do you think?"
Seeing Liu Hongyu and Feng Wanqing exchange a glance, they both then smiled and nodded at Ji Haoyuan, saying:
"In that case, we’ll rely on fellow cultivator Haoyuan’s care in the future."
At this point, Feng Wanqing suddenly seed to recall sothing and couldn’t help but say to Ji Haoyuan again:
"Haoyuan, I heard fellow cultivator Wang say just now that the maximum number of people in a team seems to be four.
Would fellow cultivator Haoyuan perhaps plan to invite another fellow cultivator to join?"
Upon hearing Feng Wanqing’s words, Liu Hongyu also turned her head again to look at Ji Haoyuan.
Ji Haoyuan’s heart slightly stirred.
He looked at Feng Wanqing and said, "Is it possible that Fairy Feng has soone trustworthy to recomnd?"
He also knew that at present, the information about forming teams had not yet spread, making it indeed the best ti to look for team mbers.
It’s just that the people he knew were limited.
Those he trusted were even fewer.
Rather than inviting soone he barely knew or wasn’t sure of their background, it would be better to leave it as it is.
However, seeing Feng Wanqing’s deanor now, it seems she really had soone worth inviting in mind.
"You’re right, fellow cultivator Haoyuan."
Feng Wanqing nodded.
"I indeed have a trustworthy person I would like to recomnd to you, fellow cultivator Haoyuan."
Before Ji Haoyuan and Liu Hongyu could ask, Feng Wanqing continued:
"This person is a Foundation Establishnt cultivator from the Qiu Family in Qingshan County, nad Qiu Zeyuan, with mid-stage Foundation Establishnt cultivation.
I have explored a cave mansion with this person before, and know that this person has a strong principle in conduct, not so cunning or treacherous type.
Most importantly, this person is genuinely a Sword Cultivator."
"A Sword Cultivator?"
Upon hearing Feng Wanqing’s introduction of this person, both Ji Haoyuan and Liu Hongyu showed obvious interest.
Because they knew that all Sword Cultivators were exceptionally straightforward in disposition.
They valued a clear and bright sword heart.
They would never engage in anything that might pollute or violate their principles.
The saying goes that they would rather take it head-on than obtain it through deceit, describing people like Qiu Zeyuan.
This kind of person indeed had the foundation and reasons to be trusted.
However, seeing the person in question personally would tell the real story.
Thinking of this, Ji Haoyuan said to Feng Wanqing:
"Fairy Feng, could you possibly contact this person now?
If so, I would like to et him first."
Feng Wanqing showed a slight smile.
"You may not know this, fellow cultivator Haoyuan, but this person is currently with us on this very Flying Ship; I’ll go bring him over."
With that, Feng Wanqing headed towards a group of people in the distance.
In a matter of monts, Feng Wanqing brought over a middle-aged man who appeared to be around fifty years old.
This man wore a simple long robe and had traces of white hair on his head.
His actual age was likely quite advanced.
But at this mont, what Ji Haoyuan and Liu Hongyu were interested in was not these things, but the faint aura of sharpness emanating from him.
It was like a sword concealed but yet to be unsheathed.
Making one feel as if facing not a man but a precious sword ready to draw at any mont.
"Fellow cultivator Haoyuan, this is Qiu Zeyuan, the fellow cultivator Qiu that I ntioned."
This ti, Feng Wanqing introduced him with a smile to Ji Haoyuan.
She then turned and said to Qiu Zeyuan,
"Fellow cultivator Qiu, this is fellow cultivator Ji Haoyuan of the Ji Family from Nanning County. I brought you over because this fellow cultivator wanted to get to know you."
Listening to Feng Wanqing, it was clear she had not ntioned the formation of the team to Qiu Zeyuan.
This made Ji Haoyuan and Liu Hongyu both nod slightly.
"I’ve heard of Ji Haoyuan of the Ji Family."
At this, Qiu Zeyuan was the first to speak.
"You called over; is there sothing specific?"
His words were straightforward, carrying a hint of ringing definitiveness.
There was no more unnecessary courtesy even though Ji Haoyuan was a later-stage Foundation Establishnt cultivator.
Upon hearing this, Ji Haoyuan did not beat around the bush, instead directly informing Qiu Zeyuan about the team formation.
He knew that talking unnecessarily to such a person could be pointless.
Conversely, doing so could provoke the other party’s displeasure.
Since his conduct was not like that either.
Therefore, after Ji Haoyuan finished discussing the team formation, he straightforwardly asked,
"What do you think? Would fellow cultivator Qiu be willing to join us?"
Qiu Zeyuan had not expected Ji Haoyuan to call him over for this reason.
He first glanced at Feng Wanqing, then after a brief hesitation, nodded at Ji Haoyuan,
"Alright.
I trust fellow cultivator Feng."
Implying that while he wasn’t aware of Ji Haoyuan and Liu Hongyu’s character, he chose to trust Feng Wanqing.
This had always been his personality.
Clear-cut without any gray areas.
Ji Haoyuan didn’t mind this at all.
He displayed a slight smile and nodded at Qiu Zeyuan,
"In that case, welco to our team, fellow cultivator Qiu.
In a mont, we will make a mutual agreent first, and once we arrive at the destination, we’ll imdiately report to the relevant personnel—does anyone have any objections?"
Hearing this, all three, including Qiu Zeyuan, shook their heads, indicating they had no objections.
