Lin Tian looked at Wang Zhenyu as he suddenly pointed at him, a hint of surprise on his face, while inwardly he rolled his eyes. Was this considered being shot while lying down? He hadn't done anything, and yet, that old man's gaze seed as if he wanted to devour him.
"He is my friend, show so respect," Shen ngyi said with a sowhat cold expression as she looked at Wang Zhenyu.
However, her saying that seed to only infuriate Wang Zhenyu even more. His face imdiately darkened as he spoke with anger restrained in his tone. "I don't think it's as simple as being just friends, is it?"
"…" Lin Tian felt an urge to laugh. Why was this person so stubborn? He simply refused to believe the truth and insisted on thinking in that direction, although he would have liked for there to be a real connection.
"What's it to you? You and I are not close, so do I need to explain to you who I'm friends with? Move aside…" Wang Zhenyu was in a bad mood, and Shen ngyi wasn't feeling much better. She had wanted to co back and relax, but the last thing she expected was to run into Wang Zhenyu and have her mood ruined.
"Hmph!" In response, Wang Zhenyu snorted coldly. He wouldn't get mad at Shen ngyi, but the look he gave Lin Tian was one of pure loathing.
In Tianchuan City, who didn't know that he was pursuing Shen ngyi? And now she was bringing a man ho with her—wasn't this a slap to his face?
Did he, Wang Zhenyu, really lose out to such a man?

"Wang Zhenyu, that's enough. What right do you have to threaten my friend?" Shen ngyi finally exploded upon hearing Wang Zhenyu threaten Lin Tian, shouting at him.
"Good, very good," Wang Zhenyu said, his fury barely contained, grinding his teeth as he stared at Lin Tian. "If you consider yourself a man, co out and face one on one. What are you, standing behind a woman?"
"…" Lin Tian looked at Wang Zhenyu speechlessly. Damn it, he hadn't said a word and there he went, mouthing off and even threatening him—did he really look like he was afraid?
He took a step forward and looked at Wang Zhenyu with a cold laugh. "Although it's my first ti here, I'm by no ans afraid of you. Whatever you want to do, just bring it on. I, Lin Tian, will take it."
"Lin Tian, what are you doing?" Shen ngyi saw Lin Tian step forward to face Wang Zhenyu head on, and her face instantly turned anxious. Lin Tian, in his first visit to Tianchuan City, was unaware of how fearso Wang Zhenyu could be. There had been people who pursued her in the past, only to end up beaten by him into a vegetative state, bedridden to this day.
Shen ngyi looked at Wang Zhenyu and said, "I warn you, Lin Tian is my friend. You'd better behave. If anything happens to him, I won't let you off."
"So you're called Lin Tian, I'll rember that. Tianchuan City is a nice place; have fun," Wang Zhenyu said with a cold laugh, not taking Shen ngyi's threat seriously as he looked at Lin Tian.
"Heh, thanks for that," Lin Tian said with an easy smile. Suddenly, he reached out his hand, pulling Shen ngyi into his arms, and said, "Let's go, we're going ho. It's my first ti eting your uncle and aunt, and I'm getting a bit nervous."
As Lin Tian pulled her into his embrace, Shen ngyi's face flushed red. She wanted to struggle, but Lin Tian held her tightly, making it impossible for her to wriggle free; she had no choice but to lie there obediently.
Her face pressed against Lin Tian's chest, she could clearly hear the sound of his heartbeat and feel their shared warmth. Shen ngyi's face turned even redder, looking irresistibly charming.
Wang Zhenyu couldn't keep his composure upon witnessing this scene, his eyes seed ready to spit fire—especially seeing that Shen ngyi wasn't even struggling, but simply blushed, his breathing beca more rugged.
"Good, very good... I'll rember this," Wang Zhenyu spat out so harsh words and then turned to leave. He feared if he stayed any longer, he would lose control and wouldn't be able to resist killing soone.
"Take care now, I've co to Tianchuan City specifically to propose. The date's already set, as long as both parents agree, we'll get engaged. I'll make sure to invite you then," Lin Tian shouted after Wang Zhenyu as he left, his voice brimming with provocation.
However, as Wang Zhenyu walked on, he stumbled, nearly falling over. His face turned an ashen blue with rage, fully aware that Lin Tian's words were only ant to infuriate him.
Because Shen ngyi's father had always been on his side; he would never agree to let Lin Tian be with Shen ngyi.
But seeing Shen ngyi in Lin Tian's arms filled him with such fury that he couldn't help wanting to kill.
"Let's go," Wang Zhenyu barked at the driver after getting into the car and then left the airport.
Watching the car disappear, Lin Tian revealed a disdainful smirk and said, "And he dares to threaten ? I'll anger him to death."
"..." Hearing Lin Tian's voice, Shen ngyi couldn't help but give him a look, her face turning red again as she said, "He's gone now, can't you let go of ?"
"Uh... hehe... well, that was an accident. I just wanted to rile him up, nothing more," Lin Tian said, embarrassnt creeping into his grin before he released Shen ngyi, though reluctantly, in his heart.
Opportunities like this were rare.
"You still talk?" Shen ngyi blushed even more upon hearing Lin Tian ntion holding her, glaring at him with a puffed-up look.
This bastard really dared to say anything, even declaring they were to be engaged—what a complete scoundrel.
But soon her expression turned to one of worry as she said to Lin Tian, "I'm sorry, I ant to show you a good ti, never anticipated such an incident. You better not wander around for a while; Wang Zhenyu is vengeful. You've really infuriated him; he's bound to seek revenge."
"It's fine, I'd actually be disappointed if he didn't show up," Lin Tian said with disdain, not taking Wang Zhenyu seriously at all. A joke! Would he be afraid of a Wang Zhenyu?
He was the man who dared to offend even the Li Family of Capital City; why would he care about the Wang Family?
"I'm serious. The Wang Family has a lot of power here. If they target you, you're bound to suffer," Shen ngyi said indignantly, seeing that he wasn't concerned, yet her face showed genuine care.
"Relax, relax... From now on I'll do as you say, okay? If you say go east, I won't go west. If you say sleep on the bed, I won't sleep on the floor. If you say take off your pants, I won't take off my shirt. Whatever you say goes, even if it ans sharing a bed," Lin Tian said with a raised eyebrow and a sleazy grin.
"Go die," Shen ngyi snapped, unable to contain her anger as Lin Tian's ridiculous words escalated.
