The internet is an irresponsible amplifier. Any opinion or event can be infinitely magnified through this dium.
Qiao Yu had heard this viewpoint before, but this ti the feeling was particularly strong.
The number of people in the live room was always over a hundred thousand. Obviously, this wasn’t the limit, just the maximum display of the live room.
As for the bullet chat area, it never stopped.
Although characters jumping up and down were synchronized to him on dostic and international live room addresses by on-site staff, most of Qiao Yu’s attention was always focused on the dostic live room.
For one, dense English letters piled together are tiring to recognize; for another, the international live room lacks the good atmosphere of the dostic one.
Of course, this also had to do with Qiao Yu’s personality.
These days, who isn’t a happy-go-lucky netizen? After all, now Huaxia people can genuinely eat their fill.
It’s well known that humans are peculiar creatures.
When they can’t get enough to eat, as long as they’re conscious, they have only one desire, which is to find food.
Once they can eat their fill, all sorts of random desires erge. The abundance of happy-go-lucky netizens in Huaxia ans everyone is probably eating very well.
Coincidentally, in his bones, Qiao Yu is also a happy-go-lucky person. He enjoys watching fireworks too. Chatting more with family mbers, one can casually find many like-minded individuals.
If it weren’t for Old Zheng, his ntor, and his grand ntor reining him in, he might have been swayed by a bunch of netizens just now to help test the security of the world’s trading markets.
He wasn’t motivated by anything else, just to let everyone have a spectacle to watch.
However, Qiao Yu didn’t completely ignore the comnts in the international live room.
In fact, he also saw so of the earlier comnts about football and sports. Mainly because there was too much discussion.
Although Huaxia doesn’t have many friends internationally, there are always so voices speaking well of it.
So Qiao Yu decided not to be biased, having interacted enough with the netizens in the Huaxia live room, he plans to interact with these overseas netizens a bit too.
The entry point is actually easy to find. Just as soone else was discussing why Huaxia’s technological developnt is so rapid and there are so many scientists now.
So even say almost all cutting-edge technological competition in the world today is essentially between Huaxia people and Chinese-Aricans in the United States.
For instance, the Executive Vice President of the Microsoft AI Departnt is a Huaxia person. It’s well known that the current competition in artificial intelligence is between Huaxia and Aricans, with other countries not even in the running.
They even started talking about how every year the Olympics competition is already between Chinese and Huaxia people.
"Brothers and sisters of Huaxia, it was previously stated during the promotion that this live stream is carried out in both dostic and international servers. Having interacted with everyone, I now plan to interact with so friendly international netizens, and I’ll answer so questions in English."
After saying this, Qiao Yu switched directly to English mode.
In fact, during the recording, it was the sa cara; Qiao Yu could only see comnts from both dostic and international live room netizens simultaneously.
However, when Qiao Yu started speaking English, the dostic subtitles would switch simultaneously.
"To all the foreign friends watching this live stream in the international live room, welco. I noticed you all have been discussing a topic.
That is, why in recent years Huaxia seems to give the impression of rapid technological developnt. Especially in nurturing young scientists, there seems to be a qualitative leap compared to before.
During our testing of the deep trading system of exchanges, I can chat a bit about this with you all. Of course, these are just my humble opinions, just take it as listening in.
Besides the often-ntioned topic of basic education rate, I actually want to discuss with you whether a certain language is suitable for learning and developnt.
I wonder if you’ve noticed that although English is considered one of the most important languages in the world, it was designed in a way that is inherently unsuitable for learning, even going against the usual human mory habits.
Let give you the simplest example: a week has seven days. In Chinese, we add a number after the word ’week’ to distinguish different days.
So when we initially learn the language, to differentiate these seven days of the week, we only need to learn the word ’week’ and numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, plus the word ’day’.
But if you are learning English, sorry, for the regular seven days from Monday to Sunday, you need to morize seven completely different words.
What a foolish design! Why can’t it be simpler, using numbers directly to distinguish them? English has the word ’week’, why not just add a number afterward?
For example, week1, week2 up to week6, and finally weekday... see, isn’t it simple and easy to understand? Wouldn’t learning like this be much simpler when you were in kindergarten?
The sa goes for months. In Huaxia, when we recognize the twelve months during enlightennt, we only need to learn the word ’month’ and twelve numbers to express it clearly, but you need to rember twelve different words!
There are many other similar issues. For example, ’pig’ is a word, ’at’ is a word, but ’pork’ is another word, which I found very confusing when learning English.
So why can’t the na of the animal and the word ’at’ be combined into a simple word that’s easy to understand, instead of creating other words from scratch?
