Chapter Ninety- One

Asli left the school in search of who the bully’s father was. The girl had asked if she knew who her father was, so clearly, he could be a powerful or dangerous man... or even both.

And when she found out what his identity was, the thing that caught her attention was what Mafia boss he worked for. He even lived in the Villa and no wonder his daughter thought it was okay to bully other kids.

’Guess she picked the wrong kid,’ she thought as her eyes lingered on the man’s picture.

She didn’t care what Aht was going to do about it, but she was going to teach the man how to properly raise a kid. Or raise him; the father, too.

She tucked her phone that had the photo into her bag but not before she glanced at the address typed beside it.

The Dawsons Villa wasn’t far, and if she took the right approach, she could get inside without raising suspicion. She did not care if anyone saw her though.

But then, unfortunately, there was sothing that was pulling her to do things right wherever it concerned Aht.

But not today. She needed to make sure her little one was safe.

That evening, she found herself outside the gates of the grand estate. Guards stood by the entrance, their eyes scanning the area. She observed them from a distance, noting their rotations and the gaps in their patrols. It was not impenetrable. She just needed the right mont to sneak inside.

A large truck pulled up to the gate, and as the guards checked its contents, she seized the opportunity. It always was a large truck...

With swift and quiet movents, she slipped through the side, using the shadows to her advantage.

If this man thought his status gave his daughter the right to terrorize others, he had another thing coming. She knew that storming the Villa would make Aht angry. But she would deal with him later.

She pushed all the thoughts that were about him... not that aside from him, she was ever considerate about any man.

She moved through the yard, keeping low. The Villa was massive. It wasn’t like her father’s where even she had her own big suite or building far away from the main mansion. It was like a grand Mansion with many windows. She imagined them to eat together around a giant table.

She had no idea where the man was. So she definitely had to walk into Villa and demand they bring him out.

Right! She had no plan. She was acting on her emotions... sothing she didn’t even have. She did not think it through before coming.

For once, she moved into an enemy’s territory without a plan. He wouldn’t be an easy target, but she wasn’t here to kill him either. She was here just to send a ssage.

So... aning, she needed to be seen. She wanted soone to see her.

Her foot tripped... too neatly to be an accident and she stumbled forward with a small gasp. A few heads turned.

She let out a soft laugh, brushing imaginary dirt from her trousers as she straightened up. Her eyes flicked toward the guards who were scanning her like they were robots.

She adjusted her jacket, ran a hand through her hair, and lingered there like soone waiting for a cara flash that never ca.

’Co on!’ She almost yelled. She knew these common guards didn’t know who she was. However, if soone was trespassing on their property, should they not be on alert?

"Hey, you. Stop right there!" A man shouted from behind. A smile finally ford on her lips as she raised her hands up. "Soone is trespassing! I repeat soone is trespassing." The man kept chanting and all of a sudden, the alarm started blurring and a bunch of n ca, running toward them.

Most of them probably did not care who she was. When they ca to capture her, she did not put up a fight.

"What is all this noise about?" A voice spoke once they entered the Grand Hall. She recognized that voice so well. She bet she had to clench her thighs tightly together since the authoritative tone had sent vibrating thoughts.

"Soone trespassed." One man inford him.

"One person trespassed and we have like ten n here because of that? How did he even trespass in the first place when we..." His words stopped the mont his eyes t who the trespasser was.

Quickly, his eyes went wide and Asli could not tell if it was out of shock or excitent to see her.

"Release her." He ordered and the n hesitated for a while until they finally did. He signalled for them to leave and they did that too.

"You let them catch you, why?" Aht went straight to the point. No pleasantries were shared and it didn’t matter to her as it wasn’t the reason she was there.

"I’m here for soone. He’s Vick. Bring him to now!" She demanded, and Aht’s eyebrows shot in a confused question.

"Anyone could shoot or harm you, Asli. Don’t tell you risked it all for a man." Aht’s face was neutral but his voice sounded an.

Was he seriously thinking she ca into his Villa alone to just ask for a man?

Okay.

"Whatever." She only just responded.

"It’s bold of you to think you are safe." He taunted.

"I only just need him and I will be going." She t his neutral gaze.

"I’m not handing him over until you tell what is going on here." He declared.

"It’s none of your business"

"Okay. I will call the n to escort you out."

"Good. I will have people to shoot to prove to you I’m being serious then." She challenged.

"You have one, standing in front of you." He drew her attention to himself. Was he... What was he doing? Did he think she wasn’t going to shoot him if that was her only deal?

Her hand went to the gun in the pocket underneath her belt. But imdiately, Aht’s gun was also in his hands and pointing back at her.

Suddenly, so n who were entering the hall saw them and quickly drew out their guns too, and pointed at her.

She should have lowered her gun at this point but her stubbornness wouldn’t let her.

"Drop your weapon," Aht ordered her.

"Just call Vick out." She was probably regretting coming here but who cared?

"Vick?" One of the n called out and her attention went to him. "He is my brother, what do you want from him?"

From the corner of her eyes, she saw Aht’s shoulders drop in disbelief.

She pulled the trigger, shooting the gun of the man who claid Vick was his brother, instead of any of his body parts. They all exclaid and as an instinct, their guns went off.

She ran for cover before any of the bullets could land on her.

"Cease fire!" Aht yelled and she could hear from his tone how much he hated telling them to do that.

"But boss..." he glared at them and they quickly dropped their guns.

It could be Aht was not ntioning her na for a reason but she did not care whether they knew who she was or not.

But then... considering how sloppy this entry was, she would not want them to know it was her.

Just then, a few steps rushed inside, and looking through the faces of the owners, Vick was one of them.

Good. Excellent.

She got up and approached him, but before he could ask her why she was looking for him, her palm ca in contact with his cheeks. Everyone was shocked at how loud the sound was.

Vick clenched his fists so fiercely that his knuckles beca white. His jaw trembled, and his breath was keen and quick.

He was about to raise his hand when Aht yelled for everyone to calm down. Asli scoffed. She didn’t need him to protect her.

When Vick spoke, his voice was low and tight, as if he was resisting the need to explode. "You’re kidding , right?" His eyes were on her.

Aht on the other hand breathed sharply through his nose, while his lips squeezed together in a narrow line. He shook his head and mumbled under his breath as if he couldn’t believe what was happening.

Vick looked at Aht for permission but he wasn’t giving him any.

"What the hell?" The man, who couldn’t contain his anger, snapped but unfortunately for him, another slap landed on his other cheek.

Vick who seed to have had enough, grabbed a nearby gun and was about to shoot her.

"Alright, that’s enough." Soone was approaching her.

She was angry and she needed soone to pay for it. She could not exactly beat the bully because she was around the sa age as Matilda but this man, she could fight with him, fair and square.

"Your daughter laid her hands on my little sister. If you had trained her better, perhaps she wouldn’t have done that." Asli ntioned and all the n’s anger intensified.

Was this what this ruckus was all about?

"Tell , do you hear your daughter tell you the number of kids she beats and you reward her with sweets?" she said as her palm was about to land on him when the man grabbed her.

She saw the angry look in his eyes and she loved it.
