Chapter Six

His eyes never left hers. "What can you offer ?" he asked, his tone casual. Her eyes trailed over him.

Asli's brain stuttered. Wait, what? Wasn't he supposed to be threatening her, not speaking casually like they were old buddies?

An unwelco thought crept into her mind - her, in the lingerie, exposed and vulnerable... to him - but she quickly banished it, refusing to indulge in that.

She briefly regained her composure. "What do you want?" She asked him the second ti. Still in disbelief of what is going on.

Again, he replied, "What can you offer ?"

Her patience wore thin, but she reminded herself to keep her cool. "What's your bank account number? How much do..." she started, but Aht burst out laughing, his eyes sparkling with amusent.

"How much?" he chuckled as if she'd made a joke. "Girl, do you think I need money?"

At first, his laughter grated on her nerves, but then, sothing shifted. The sound beca a pleasant lody, and Asli found herself softening, ever so slightly.

If she didn't know his true identity, she'd think he was just an ordinary man - carefree and charming in his shirt with sleeves pushed up to his elbows, revealing his muscular arms and a hint of tattoos, making him look like a model who just stepped off a magazine cover.

But then, reality hit her like a slap in the face. 'He shot you,' a silent voice echoed in her head, and she jerked back to reality. This man wanted her to lose her guard so he could probably execute whatever plan he had and she could not believe she almost fell for him, for his looks. For his eyes. For his gorgeous face...

'No! For his plans,' she corrected herself, her mind racing. Did she think he is gorgeous? Really? Did she really think that?

Asli felt herself frozen in place, unable to move or look away, as Aht drew closer, his eyes locked on hers. His low, sultry voice sent shivers down her spine as he spoke. "I have everything, young woman. I don't need money," he whispered, his breath caressing her skin. As he spoke, his fingers grazed her arm, sending a jolt of electricity through her body. The touch was fleeting, but it left her heart racing and her feet rooted to the spot, unable to escape the danger that was before her.

She was entranced by Aht's scent, feeling trapped in its allure. His presence was intoxicating, especially since he didn't look or act like the ruthless mafia leader she knew him to be. For a mont, she forgot about the danger that lurked beneath his charming smile.

Charming smile.

There it was, again, she thought if his smile and thought it was charming. This was not her. What was happening to her?

But then, like a slap in the face, reality hit her. Aht's voice turned serious, his words slicing through the haze of attraction like a knife. "However, you need sothing. You need my silence," he said, his tone dripping with authority, reminding her of the cold, calculating mafia leader she knew all too well.

"I want you. I could not care less about your organization or anything concerning that. I want you in this bed and no, don't you think this will have any aning, we'll just f*ck." He ntioned in a rude manner, that the unknown feeling got replaced with the hate she always carried in her heart for him.

Her eyes widened in disbelief. "Are you crazy?" she almost spat, her voice barely above a whisper. How dare he suggest such a thing? The audacity! He wanted her to be his little play thing.

Aht smirked, unfazed by her reaction. Satisfied even. "I'm giving you Twenty-four hours to choose. Either you go to bed with or you face your father's wrath. I would love to see that. In fact, both options would be fun to witness." He tossed a spare key onto the bed, his eyes glinting with amusent. "Call when you've decided which option you prefer and if it's the first one, I would want to see you in this and dancing for like the superstar you are. However if you chose the second, do call so I watch how your father choose to kill to you." With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Asli stunned and seething.

She couldn't believe what had just happened. 'Did he just ask to sleep with him? Is he blackmailing ? How did he even know about my other identity?'

She thought of revealing the information about his cousin's betrayal, but would that be enough to stop him from exposing her to her father? She knew n like Aht, but did she know him?

When he had called her, she imagined sothing brutal to happen. She thought he had perhaps captured one of her n and was going to have her watch as he tortured him. Or torture her for so information, he was at her warehouse looking for sothing. Was he not? This took her by surprise.

This was certainly not in her mind. Why would he want her? Was he looking down on her because she was a woman? She had fought for her title and did he want to belittle that by adding her to the number of won he had slept with? Would he have asked that from his fellow gender?

She quickly reached for her gun and chased after him. She could just shoot him and silence him. She searched the corridor.

"Where the hell did he go?" She yelled in the hallway. Good job, Asli, make so good noise, when she did not even want anyone to see her. She scolded herself, realizing too late that she was announcing her presence.

"Damn you, Aht!" she whispered, pulling her hair in frustration. This man always knew how to make her blood boil. "I need to think fast. What should I do?"
