Chapter Eighteen

Sixteen n. She counted.

She approached him quickly, to avoid her man getting shot, and Aluminum, the boss smiled at how smart she moved. They had a history. The old ugly rag wanted to marry her since she was sixteen.

"Asli, darling. Still playing hard to get?" The old man's tone irked her but she pulled a chair to sit beside him.

"Aluminum, you're not welco here." She simply inford him for the eighth ti in the week.

She understood so Mafias loved to be called weird nas but was 'Aluminum' a good idea?

He snickered. "Oh, I think I am. You see, I've got a buyer willing to pay top dollar."

Her hand rested on the gun holstered at her hip. She removed it and placed it on the table before them. "I've said no each ti you brought it up. That's final."

Aluminum's n closed in, hands reaching for weapons but stopped imdiately when they saw she had placed her gun on the table for everyone to see.

Her n stepped forward, their eyes locked on their enemies. "You shouldn't have flown all the way here to say the sa thing. Your father doesn't care whether I buy it or not. So why don't you hand over the papers while I'm being generous?"

A knife flashed in the older man's hand. It happened so fast nobody knew where Asli drew out the knife from. His scream alerted his n and their gunshots started flying while her n did the sa.

He would be a fool to think she only ca there to tell him no. She must've taken him by surprise. Putting your weapon for the enemy to see ant one thing. She had ant for a peaceful talk until he ntioned her adoptive father.

If she allowed the man sitting before him to win this fight, she must've also said yes to his marriage proposal.

The room erupted into chaos. Gunfire cracked, and everyone scread as they scrambled for cover.

She dove behind the bar, returning fire as his n started firing her way. Her man disard one thug, slamming him into the floor.

Aluminum carefully took the knife piercing through his hand and the table, spilling more blood. The knife found its mark, as he hissed in pain.

"Kill them all and leave the bitch for !" He ordered and he tried taking his gun from his pocket but he noticed it was no longer there. Asli had taken it while taking cover.

'Bitch huh?'

So n pinned another against the wall, guns pressed to their body parts.

She erged from behind the bar, gun trained on Aluminum. "You should've taken a no for an answer."

Before she could fire, one of his n flew a bullet in her direction. She was quick to dodge.

Her anger was not towards his n but it looked like she had to kill them too. She aid their way, killing three n in one minute.

Her eyes swept the room, and so did the man. He was left with two n.

She hadn't co here hoping to kill him. But if need be, she would. And they all could see it in her eyes.

Aluminum's ego would be hurt. She could also see it in his eyes that he wasn't going to let her walk out alive to tell anyone she won a fight over him. He was around her adoptive father's age. Went to the sa school together. Their fathers were good friends and it seed she was suffering from that friendship.

She would protect her n at all costs. She entered with three n and she intended to leave with them. Wounding them was allowed but killing was not. She was on high alert as they were too.

"Tell your n to put their guns down," he roared in pain, even though she still held a gun towards his way.

"You don't tell an enemy what to do in a fight," she replied. Then, before she could say anything more, she noticed the nod he gave his n.

Before any of them could react to his command, she shot the remaining n he had left.

To think she was going to lose her life tonight. This was the easiest fight she had ever had in what? Five years after her fight with so group that went about calling themselves Orange Gurus. She sighed, lowering her gun.

"You have your father's eyes." The man told her and she raised her eyebrows in disbelief.

"I look nothing like my father. We are both ruthless killers and so what? "

"You think?"
