When Claire stepped into the office, Joy Sharp bead at her with an unmistakable smile.

Claire asked, "Sothing good happening? You look so happy!"

Joy smiled shyly and said, "Jude and I have started dating."

Claire was montarily stunned, her brows furrowing slightly, and she asked, "Jude confessed to you?"

"Not exactly." Joy’s face turned a little shy as her voice lowered. "But, in terms of our relationship, we are boyfriend and girlfriend now."

Claire: "You an you two slept together?"

When it ca to matters between n and won, Joy was still quite conservative. Hearing Claire speak so directly, she couldn’t help blushing.

She nodded hesitantly.

Claire opened her mouth, wanting to say more, but Tina Hayes pulled her aside.

"President Hale, maybe you should say less." Tina said, "Joy is hopelessly in love. Jude just spent one night with her, and he never officially said he wanted to be her boyfriend! She misunderstood it herself!"

Claire frowned, "Joy and Jude grew up together. Since Jude has already been intimate with Joy, he can’t just leave her hanging."

"People change, especially n." Tina was rather pessimistic about this, "Spending a night is just about taking pants off and putting them back on. There are plenty who don’t own up to it. Jude has been in the big world for too long; who knows if he’s changed."

What Tina said reminded Claire of what Dylan Skinner told her last ti about Jude checking into a hotel with another woman.

"Since that’s the case, we have to make it clear to Joy. We can’t just watch her jump into the fire pit."

"She won’t listen." Tina waved her hand, "Joy and Jude grew up wearing the sa split pants, twenty years of feelings aren’t easily dropped just because of a few words from us."

That was indeed reasonable.

For a mont, Claire didn’t know what to do either.

As close as friends can be, there are still things they shouldn’t interfere with.

"But we have to find a way to remind Joy," Claire said. "We know there’s a fire pit ahead and not pulling her away doesn’t seem right either."

Tina: "I think it’s nothing."

Claire paused and looked up at her, "Why do you say that?"

"Even if it’s a fire pit, it’s just a matter of Joy getting her heart broken. In my opinion, experiencing a breakup and heartbreak isn’t a big deal. You learn from it. Also, it’s good for Joy to see through Jude by herself."

Surprise flashed in Claire’s eyes as she looked at Tina with a bit more admiration.

"With this kind of realization, have you considered opening a monastery? I’m sure many would co to seek guidance from Master Hayes."

"No way, I still want to date n, lots of tall and handso guys!" Tina chuckled, "But I heard that nowadays many monks are tall, handso guys too? Sothing about the coldness and purity... sounds appealing."

Hearing her jokes, Claire didn’t dwell on Joy’s issue any further.

Tina’s words did indeed move her.

Her attachnt to Tristan Lockwood was quite deep.

For nearly half of her twenty years, her heart had been preoccupied with him.

She wanted him, to possess him, and to have all of him belong to her.

But in the end, she had nothing.

If they hadn’t divorced, she might still be trapped, tornting him and herself.

Thinking about it like that, Claire found herself becoming a little more open-minded, and her relentless attachnt to Tristan had truly subsided a lot.

Nonetheless, Claire still kept an eye on Joy’s matters. Over the weekend, she arranged to et Dylan Skinner to inquire about the truth of Jude’s encounters with other won.

When Dylan heard Claire wanted to et up over the weekend, he was thrilled and suggested, "Sis, how about going to the amusent park tomorrow since we’re already out?"

"Sure."

Claire agreed without much thought.

She added, "Is it okay if I bring a colleague?"

She thought about bringing Tina along for so fun.

"Eh, don’t." Dylan quickly stopped her, then whispered, "I wanted to spend ti alone with you."

Claire paused and said, "Alright, just the two of us."

The next day, when Claire arrived at the amusent park, Dylan was already waiting at the entrance.

When she got out of the car and saw Dylan, she stopped for a mont.

Today Dylan was dressed in all white leisurewear, even his shoes were white. The mont he saw her, his eyes crinkled into a brilliant smile.

He looked so sunny and handso.

Nearby, a girl shyly approached Dylan for a chat and asked for a photo.

Dylan glanced at Claire and said with a generous smile, "I don’t want the girl I’m waiting for to see taking pictures with others."

The girl looked back, following Dylan’s gaze, and saw Claire.

She was taken aback.

Such a beautiful lady.

"Well, I wish you and the lady a long and happy journey!"

The girl said and then ran off.

Claire walked over to Dylan. As she approached, his smile grew even brighter, and his eyes inadvertently revealed a glow of amazent.

eting his gaze, Claire was slightly startled.

Dylan’s eyes today carried sothing different than usual.

Not just kindness and warmth, but a hint of a man’s unintentional possessiveness.

She shifted her gaze quietly, looking at the girl running away, and said, "That girl is quite cute. Maybe you should give her a chance?"

Dylan’s smile faded, and he looked at her seriously, saying, "I’m here to have a date with you today, how can I be so divided?"

"I an in the future."

"We’ll talk about the future when it cos." Dylan reached out his hand, "Let’s have so fun first."

She eyed his open palm and hesitated.

Dylan didn’t give her much ti to think, bending slightly to take her hand.

"You’ve hugged before; holding hands shouldn’t be an issue, right?"

Even though he asked, he firmly held her hand.

Maybe it’s because they hadn’t seen each other for a while, but this ti, seeing him again, Dylan seed much more mature.

The occasional hint of dominance mixed with boyish sunshine, honestly, was a bit irresistible.

After getting off the roller coaster, Claire’s face was a bit pale. Dylan twisted off the cap of a mineral water bottle and handed it to her.

"Let’s skip the thrilling rides," Claire said, accepting the water and taking a sip, still a bit shaken. "I’m too old for this."

"Okay, whatever you say."

Seeing her finish the water, Dylan took the bottle back and nonchalantly took a sip himself.

Claire glanced at his bobbing Adam’s apple, feeling her face heat up slightly.

This kid really seems to have grown up.
