After work that day, Claire didn’t go straight ho but drove to a busy shopping district. After parking, she walked directly towards Dean Dawson’s car.

"How long are you going to follow ?" Claire said with a cold expression, "Dean Dawson, are you looking to get locked up again?"

Dean Dawson chuckled, "Claire, you can give it a try. If you really report it to the police, let’s see if they care."

He said this with utter confidence.

Being a criminal lawyer, he was adept at navigating the boundaries of cri. Even if Claire reported him, besides receiving a warning, she really couldn’t do much about him.

Claire frowned, "Are you so bored that you constantly follow around?"

"I’m working in Riverbend now," Dean Dawson explained, "Claire, I sincerely apologize for my past actions. I’ve already divorced Cindy Skinner, and you’ve divorced Tristan Lockwood. Pursuing you now wouldn’t be restrained by as many limitations."

"Are you kidding ?"

Claire was so infuriated by his words that she ended up laughing.

"Dean Dawson, you are soone who nearly violated . Where on earth do you get the confidence to stand in front of saying such things?"

Dean Dawson opened his mouth, about to say sothing, but Claire rcilessly interrupted him, "I’m warning you for the last ti—if you keep following , I’ll ensure you can’t stay in Riverbend."

"Just you alone?" Dean Dawson obviously didn’t take her words seriously, "You’ve divorced Tristan Lockwood; do you really think, with your capabilities, you can stir up any trouble?"

Claire’s expression slightly changed, her gaze turning colder.

Yet Dean Dawson laughed even more recklessly, "Let be honest with you, I genuinely want to have you. If you are with , I’ll naturally treat you well without reservation. But if I can’t have you, I don’t know what I might do."

The underlying tone was full of threats.

Claire felt that Dean Dawson was either possessed or crazy.

But she still calmly thought for a mont and asked, "Why are you doing this? What are you after?"

From her perspective, apart from wasting ti and bothering her, Claire couldn’t see what other benefits Dean Dawson could gain.

A hint of hatred flashed in Dean Dawson’s eyes, "Why are you feigning ignorance? Tristan Lockwood reached out to his contacts in Seacliff, ensuring that I was blocked by Seacliff’s legal community. You should know this, right?"

Claire was taken aback; she wasn’t aware that Tristan Lockwood had done such a thing.

"At that ti, he spared no expense and utilized many connections just to make things difficult for in far-off Seacliff. I thought he was as deeply committed to you as you were to him."

Dean Dawson sneered.

"But amidst Cindy’s chaos, he gave up on you. In the end, you weren’t that important to him."

Claire paused for quite a while until her chaotic emotions cald down, then she maintained her composure, "In that case, what’s the point of you pestering ?"

"If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have lost everything I had—my career, status, and reputation—all ruined by you. Tell , Claire, can I not drag you down with ?"

Dean Dawson’s smile had beco almost grotesque. Claire knew that continuing the conversation with him was futile.

She turned to leave.

But suddenly, Dean Dawson reached over and grabbed her wrist forcefully.

Claire groaned in pain and coldly reprimanded, "Dean Dawson, let go of !"

However, Dean Dawson tightened his grip even more, as if he wanted to crush her bones.

Unable to break free, Claire considered shouting for help when suddenly an arm reached over from the side, grabbing hold of Dean Dawson’s arm.

In an instant, Dean Dawson’s strength dissipated.

Claire looked up and saw Sean Lockwood’s deep, chiseled side profile.

Dean Dawson saw Sean Lockwood and found him sowhat familiar but couldn’t imdiately recognize him. However, he could sense Sean’s extraordinary presence.

Suppressing his anger, Dean Dawson asked, "Who are you?"

"You don’t need to know who I am," Sean Lockwood calmly looked at Dean Dawson, his gaze steady, "I’ve seen you before—you’re a legal affairs lawyer for Luna Quinn’s small company, correct?"

He didn’t intend to continue speaking with Dean Dawson but turned to Claire to ask, "How is he troubling you?"

Claire didn’t hold back and directly explained Dean Dawson’s stalking.

Dean Dawson’s face turned pale until he saw the extrely subtle gloominess in Sean Lockwood’s eyes and rembered Sean’s previous visit to Luna Quinn’s company for observation.

At that ti, everyone in the company thought that they were probably a couple.

Thinking of this, Dean Dawson couldn’t help but mock, "You’ll face consequences for betraying President Quinn."

Everyone in the circle knew how ruthless Luna Quinn could be.

Sean Lockwood’s expression remained calm, unfazed by the comnt. He simply stared at Dean Dawson and casually said, "You’re not in a position to interfere in my matters."

His aura was incredibly strong, calm yet powerful.

Dean Dawson suddenly felt, for so reason, that he was a notch below the other.

But his male ego triggered an adrenaline rush, refusing to back down, so he asked, "So are you interested in her too?"

Dean Dawson’s gaze landed on Claire.

"I’d advise you to give up. Her heart only belongs to Tristan Lockwood, no other man can get in. Even if you’re soone influential, you’ll still suffer at her hands."

"By tomorrow morning at the latest."

Sean Lockwood suddenly spoke.

Dean Dawson paused, "What?"

Sean Lockwood glanced at him indifferently, "By tomorrow morning at the latest, you’ll receive a termination notice from Luna Quinn’s company, and you won’t step foot in Riverbend again."

After he spoke, he turned to Claire, "Let’s go."

Claire didn’t spare Dean Dawson another look and followed Sean Lockwood away.

After walking a distance, Claire paused and said to Sean Lockwood, "President Lockwood, thank you."

Sean Lockwood seed to recollect himself, observing her for a while.

Claire felt uneasy under his gaze, but since Sean Lockwood helped her, she couldn’t just leave abruptly, so she faced his gaze head-on.

"I’m suddenly curious about what that man ntioned earlier," Sean Lockwood began.

Claire was taken aback, puzzled, "Curious about what?"

Sean Lockwood: "Do you really have such deep feelings for Tristan Lockwood? So deep that there’s only room for him in your heart for the rest of your life?"

Claire was stunned for a mont, then looked Sean Lockwood in the eyes and said, "No."

Sean Lockwood didn’t ask further, quickly shifting his gaze away from her, remaining in his calm and solid deanor.

"I’ll take you ho," he said.

Claire instinctively wanted to refuse, but when her eyes t Sean Lockwood’s deep, dark eyes, she swallowed her words.

Only after arriving ho did Claire belatedly realize that, for so reason, even though she was full of rebellion, she couldn’t seem to say no to Sean Lockwood.

Sean Lockwood’s approach was always quick and precise.

After that night, Claire indeed never saw Dean Dawson again.

The connections at her firm gradually returned to normal, with one even calling specifically to apologize for previous indifference, inviting her to dinner.

This contact was one of the key relationships Claire maintained, so she accepted the invitation.

However, that night, when she entered the reserved private room, she saw Dean Dawson sitting inside.
