Eguchi: It’s a little short. The Royal Capital arc is finally ing to an (end). The Royal Capital arc ended up being long because there were too many things I wanted to include, hopefully, I can do things in moderation next time.
We stayed for a few more days in the Royal Capital.
As promised (or threatened), Fer and Grandpa Gon had nothing but piles and piles of plain sliced bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The next day, after they started crying during their bread and bread breakfast, I gave them normal food for lunch and dinner. I had already bought souvenirs for everyone in Carelina and was determined to enjoy my last days at the Royal Capital.
Also…
“Ahh~~ finally, we’re finally going back to Carelina…” Willem-san muttered, exhaustion plain on his face.
We were on a grassy field just outside the entrance to the Royal Capital. The people seeing us off were Bram the Guild Master as well as members of the [Iron Will] party.
“Thank you for your hard work,” I said politely to Bram-san, who squinted suspiciously at me.
“No, I should be the one to say,” he said.
“No, no, that’s not true,” in fact, I’d say that aside from me, everyone else had worked very hard.
“Well, well, we can at least the job of dismantling the Leviathan had been successfully pleted,” said Werner-san placatingly.
“Right, right? It was an emergency call, but we got a lot out of it, yeah?” said Rita-san with a big grin on her face.
The others nodded.
That’s right, no matter what, the ‘Leviathan Dismantling Project’ had to be the biggest project in the history of the Royal Capital Adventurer’s Guild. Having an opportunity to participate in this project warmed the hearts of everyone from [Iron Will].
“I agree~ thanks to this project, I get to upgrade my weapons,” said Vincent-san with a happy smile.
The [Iron Will] had been planning to upgrade all their gear to match their new B Rank for some time now. It was for this reason that they plan to stay at the Royal Capital for just a while longer.
“There are a lot of good things here at the Royal Capital,” said Ramon-san. “I look forward to exploring them.”
“There might even be some great bargains, too,” said Franca-san.
“And, um, after that?” I asked.
“We have plans to visit the meat dungeon, so we’ll be taking missions that will take us that way.”
“Mukouda-san made it sound really fun, so we have no choice but to pay a visit. Right, Leader?” said Rita-san cheerfully.
During the celebration of [Iron Will]’s promotion, I told them about the Meat Dungeon Festival when the subject of Rosendal came up. It was a little far away, so taking missions that would eventually bring them there was actually a good idea.
“It would take us a bit of time, so it will be a good idea to start soon,” said Ramon-san.
“Hope to see you there!” said Vincent-san.
“Yes, let’s meet there!” I said, not only them, but I also made a promise to visit everyone at the orphanage again.
Not to mention, I wanted to stock up on offal. So, no matter what, I must visit Rosendal one of these days.
“I look forward to meeting with you again! And eating delicious food too!”
“Same!”
Werner-san sighed, “Vincent, Rita… you two…”
“Then, let’s look forward to eating delicious, locally sourced meat!” I said. We’ll be meeting at the Meat Dungeon City, after all.
“Hey, enough chat. Let’s go, I want to have a good rest at home,” said Willem-san.
“The Leviathan alone was enough to make anyone lose their heads, but with you… it’s just one thing after another with no rest in between…” Willem-san glared at me.
Haha, I guess he’s talking about the Dragon Turtle and the Dinosaurs from the
