Chapter 352: Limitations Exists, You know?!
The 10th floor.
As per the information collected, there were no other Adventurers on this floor.
The higher species Dungeon Pigs, all of which looked huge even from a distance, were lying peacefully on the ground or chewing on grass.
“Everyone, there’s no need to hold back here,”
“Umu, it’s a field of high-class at,” [3] Fer was staring at the Dungeon Pigs with glittering eyes.
““Hunting ti!!””
““Delicious at~!!””
[6] Dora-chan and Sui yelled out their battle cry, clearly filled with energy.
“Alright, I shall collect the Drop items, so I’ll be counting on everyone to do the actual hunting.”
With that, Fer, Sui and Dora-chan all scattered in different directions.
[6] Left alone in the middle of the field, I shaded my eyes and stared at the Dungeon Pigs, “The normal Dungeon Pigs are already quite large. Higher species are said to be twice as large but hearing about it and seeing them in the flesh are different matters altogether...” [5]
“Pugiiiii!!”
“Buhiii!!”
“Bu-buhiiiii!!”
“... well, it sure sounds like the hunt is going well.”
[6] “Pugiiiiiiii!!”
[6] “Buhiiiiiii!!”
“Guess I should start collecting the at.”
[8]
I went to where Fer had rushed towards at incredible speed. Wherever he went, his Wind Magic flew like a scythe through young bamboo, leaving nothing but rolling pieces of Dungeon Pork wrapped in leaves. I picked up the at chunks left in his wake and tossed them into my [Item Box].
Fer’s technique was very simple. He just shook his forepaw and sent a Claw Slash at the droves of pigs. [5] It was an overwhelmingly OP technique that left no survivor behind.
It was very difficult for , the litter picker, I an, the at collector to keep up with him. [5]
More than a few tis, I looked up to see that Fer had already moved on to attack a different drove of pigs.
Also, I was moving away from our original spot.
“Auuugghh!! I don’t care anymore, let’s see how Dora-chan and Sui are doing.” [3] Maybe it would be less of a hassle to collect their at Drops.
[8]
While Fer favoured Wind Magic, Dora-chan utilised Ice Magic. Specifically, he manifested Ice Spears in the air and stabbed them into large droves of Dungeon Pigs.
“Pugii...”
“Buhiii...”
“Buhi...”
Pierced by the Ice Spears, the Dungeon Pigs scread their death knell and collapsed to the ground.
“Looks like Dora-chan is doing quite well.”
““Of course! It’s we’re talking about. Mwahaha! Let’s get more and more at!”” Dora-chan laughed crazily before zooming off to the next group of pigs.
I collected the packages of at left behind by Dora-chan.
[8] “Oh, nice, we have another packet of offal.”
Sui was also enthusiastically hunting a drove of Dungeon Pigs, taking them down with her Acid Bullets. [5]
“Incredible, Sui!” I called out.
““Ehehe, is Sui amazing~? Sui will hunt lots and lots~~ Sui won’t lose to Uncle Fer or Dora-chan~~””
“I see, I see,”
““Sui will hunt more now~~””
“Alright, and be careful out there~!”
““Okay~~””
As Sui bounced away, I looked at the at Drops scattered around like so much rubbish.
“Haah... I’m grateful to have all this at but just how many pigs do they plan to hunt?”
One hour later...
Crack–
“Aughh! My back...”
I had been bending down and picking up at so much that my back felt like it was killing .
[8]
“Wait, I’m pretty sure I picked up all the at Drops here, so why...?”
Seriously, it’s like I turned around and more at packages were rolling across the grassy plains. Just what is going on-
“Buhiii!!!”
Stab!
“... well, I guess pigs are mobile creatures after all.”
“Oi, pick these up, I’m going over there now.”
“Fer! Stop it, I have already collected over 3 digits’ worth of at chunks!”
“So? There are lots more.”
“So? So? Giannino-san only wanted 10 sets of higher species Dungeon Pork and Beef. We have collected 10 tis more than the initial order!”
“Mu, you said there’s no need to hold back since there are no other Adventurers here.”
“No, wait, there should be limits-”
“Yes, the monsters here are limited. More would only respawn the next day. I shall clean them up properly.”
“No, wait, that’s not what I ant!!!”
““Woohoo! Let’s turn everything into at chunks!!”
““at chunks, at chunks~~””

I think... I blacked out a little.
Because the next thing I knew, Fer, Sui and Dora-chan ca up with satisfied faces to say:
“It’s done.”
““We cleaned out the whole place, woohoo!””
““Sui turned piggies into at chunks~””
My entire body felt as stiff as a creaky doll as I slowly turned to face them.
“What do you an by ‘it’s done’?” I was sorry the mont the question left my mouth.
“We’re done cleaning up this place,” Fer looked very smug as my other two familiars cheered in the background. “We got every last one of those Dungeon Pigs.”
““at! at! at!””
“... ...” I turned around and... indeed, as far as the eye could see, there was not a single living animal roaming the grassland. Only neat packages of at dotted the grassy plains.
[8]
“You guys, THIS IS TOO MUCHHHHH!”

“Phew, we’ve finally collected everything. Ugh, that was horrible.”
“Well, master did say we don’t have to hold back,”
““Yeah! Yeah! That’s what you said!””
““We got lots and lots of at~~””
“No, I an, sure I did say that but there’s still sothing called a ‘limit’ you know? Don’t you think it’s overkill to take out every single Dungeon Pig on this floor?”
In the end, I sent my familiars out to collect the at Drops with magic bags. With everyone’s help, we collected nearly 400 Drops on this floor alone.
In fact, the ti spent collecting Drop items was longer than actual hunting.
“It would be a waste to leave the at behind, [5] but let’s keep things moderate on the 11th floor, please. If you want more we can always return to this dungeon later. We’ve just arrived yesterday, you know Also, I’ve already paid one week’s worth of rent for the house.”
“Mu, I guess,” [5]
[6] My other familiars made so grumbling noises but at least it was agreeable grumbling noises.
“Right, shall we head to the 11th floor?”
“Wait, food first.”
““Yeah! Picking up those at Drops was hard work.””
““Sui is hungry too~””
[9]
Hmm, well, we did have a rather early breakfast today. [5] I’m sure my familiars are eager to go hunting again, so lunch should be sothing that doesn’t take up too much ti.
I’d like to cook the offal but that’s going to take ti to prepare. [5] Let’s see, when it cos to quick and easy, hmm, a pre-cooked side dish on rice?
No, since we have collected all this at let’s try cooking them.
I took out a piece of the leaf-wrapped at and spread it out on the earth table. It looked like so sort of belly at with alternate lean and fat at. It looked really delicious.
Anyway, I finally have so ti to check the Drops we collected here. The offal packet contained guts of all kinds whereas the at chunks could be either [10] shoulder, Boston pork butt (actually the area from the neck to back), loin, tenderloin, belly or thigh at.
As expected of a dungeon that specializes in at drops.
Let’s see, for a quick stir-fry, it’s best to go with belly at.
I’m going for the quick, high stamina stir-fry to recover the energy spent stooping and collecting all those at Drops...
“When it cos to a stamina stir-fry, Kimchi Pork Stir-fry would be the best. The probiotics from the kimchi would help the body recover too and there’s no need to add other seasonings.”
I quickly opened up [Net Super] and bought the essential Chinese cabbage kimchi, onions, a packet of green onions, garlic, sesa oil and... hmm, let’s get so hot spring eggs too. A Kimchi Pork Stir-fry Don topped with hot spring eggs sounds heavenly.
First, finely slice the Dungeon Pork belly and marinate it with sake, salt and pepper. Next, crush the garlic, slice the onions and finely chop the green onions. The kimchi ca in fairly large pieces, so I cut those into bite-size pieces too.
Now, all I have to do was fire up the pan and get started on my stir-fry.
Once the pan was hot, I splashed a swirl of sesa oil into the pan and threw in the garlic, letting it beco fragrant before adding the seasoned Dungeon Pork slices. Once the at changed colour, I added the sliced onions and kimchi, frying everything until well blended.
No special seasoning was needed at this point but adding mayonnaise and ntsuyu will result in a richer flavour. The mayonnaise would also reduce the spiciness of the kimchi, that way, Sui could enjoy the stir fry too.
I ladled the stir-fried pork and kimchi onto bowls of rice.
“Right, now for the final touch.”
The final touch was a hot spring egg cracked right on top of the Kimchi Pork Bowl followed by a sprinkle of chopped green onions.
“Nice, it’s all done! Fer, Dora-cha-”
The sight of their drooling faces stopped the rest of my words.
“Ahem, here you go.”
I placed the food in front of everyone and grabbed the opportunity to stuff my face while they were busy eating.
“Mu, this at is spicy and, hmm, a bit peculiar. It’s also oddly addictive.”
““Yep! Yep! Spicy and delish~!””
““It’s spicy, but Sui can still take it~! A little spicy is yummy~!””
I did wonder what everyone would think of kimchi’s spicy, sour taste, but it looked like it was quite well-received. [5] Fufufu, the flavour of the higher species Dungeon Pork doesn’t lose to kimchi’s spiciness. [1] Anyway, with the addition of mayonnaise, the spiciness level had been llowed to a nice and gentle flavour.
“Oi, seconds,”
““ too!””
““Sui too~!””
“Yes, yes, wait a minute~”
After we all ate our fill, we head for the 11th floor.
Wait for us, Higher Species Dungeon Cows!
[Gumihou: I feel sorry for the cows and pigs...]
Also, wrong fact alert: Dungeon Pigs... chewing on grass.
Pigs are not ruminants. Unlike sheep or cows (animals that chew cud for those familiar with the Bible) pigs don’t eat grass. They are more likely to stick their tusks into the ground to root up the soil.
