Minamoto Tamako didn’t want to beco sworn siblings with them, but in order to win people over, she had to play along. She secretly lanted that she had turned into a hypocritical adult, just like those high-ranking executives at the Police Departnt, calling subordinates brothers to make them work hard... Alas, let’s just treat it as a dream!

While the three were performing a brotherhood scene in the ga room’s living room, inside the box, people’s brains were being bashed out—one underling was grabbed by Fushimi Roku and had his head smashed against the wall several tis, causing cranial fractures and brains to splatter everywhere.

The other people had lost their heads in rage; they were in a state of frenzy. It was easy to beco excited during a fight and let emotions cloud judgnt. The box turned into a heated lee where the remaining six or seven people got weapons—wielding machetes and iron sticks—insisting on killing Fushimi Roku.

By the ti the trio entered the box, there were already three bodies lying on the ground, blood all over the walls, and neighbors shouting from outside the window, asking what had happened.

Fushimi Roku stood like a god of death in the center of the crowd, holding a fruit knife in his left hand and a steel rod he had seized from sowhere in his right hand, confronting six or seven brawny n, creating a scene reminiscent of the violent aesthetics in "Kill Bill."

Ma Xiang’s recently risen ambition dissipated instantly. He glanced at the bodies on the ground and the beer bottle in his hand, shivered, and couldn’t hold the bottle steady; it fell to the ground and shattered with a bang.

Like the sudden sound of war drums, everyone surged forward and began a second round of fighting.

In the cramped room, Fushimi Roku couldn’t dodge, his goal clear—to charge toward the door imdiately; the others also saw this and three strong n blocked the door at once, wielding machetes and chopping down fiercely!

Fushimi Roku swung his steel rod in a flourish, knocked away the machetes three or two tis, and taking advantage of a gap in the defense, he stabbed one with the fruit knife, cut down another, fast as lightning, he was over before they fell.

Seeing him about to break free, the last burly man blocking the way showed a face of terror, clearly losing his fighting spirit.

At this mont, a gunshot rang out.

Fushimi Roku buckled his right leg, blood spattered as he knelt down on one knee.

Everyone froze, didn’t act imdiately, instinctively turned to look outside the box, only to see Minamoto Tamako holding a gun with both hands, looking stern and composed.

Yi Zetao reacted first. Following Minamoto Tamako’s instructions, he yelled, "Police! Everyone get down!"

The remaining four or five people froze; they didn’t know what play was being staged. They all knew Yi Zetao and Ma Xiang’s background, naturally not taking them for real police.

But Fushimi Roku was different; he wasn’t from the street and hadn’t really co into contact with Yi Zetao and Ma Xiang, his first instinct was to think they were undercover police, changing identity files within the cri syndicate.

So he slowly raised his hands, indicating surrender to prevent Minamoto Tamako from shooting again.

Seeing this, Sun Brother’s underling waved the machete, intending to chop this guy’s head off to avenge his brothers.

Another gunshot rang out; the underling’s wrist spurted blood, the machete fell to the ground, he covered his wrist and scread, everyone turned once again to look at Minamoto Tamako.

"I said already, police, nobody move!"

Minamoto Tamako shouted forcefully, "Anyone who moves will get shot! In ergency situations, we can imdiately shoot to kill!"

Ma Xiang finally snapped out of it, quickly echoing her, indicating the police would soon arrive. They had casually reported to the police when they swore allegiance earlier; when the police arrived, perhaps they could make a rit!

The underlings gradually regained their senses and looked at Fushimi Roku with growing dread in their hearts.

This guy was simply inhuman, hitting hard enough to smash brains out, simply like Lu Zhishen reborn... If they continued to fight, a few more people might die here.

As the saying goes, once and again becos weak, even if this guy had lost a leg, they didn’t have the guts to go up again.

Seeing this, Minamoto Tamako felt very satisfied, thinking she had controlled the situation, and continued to stall: "Everyone, don’t be impulsive! Just now, it could be considered self-defense! If you keep fighting now, it will count as excessive defense!"

The underlings’ fervent blood gradually cooled; their bodies felt a little exhausted, they all lowered their weapons, staring at Fushimi Roku as they slowly retreated.

Since they couldn’t kill this guy, they could capture him and send him to the station, at which point they could ask the brothers inside to take care of him in prison.

Right now, they just needed to block the door to prevent this guy from escaping.

With the little girl holding the gun, there wasn’t a need to fight to the death. If Fushimi Roku dared to move again, they’d break his other leg!

Everyone in the ga room reached a consensus and ford a strange and fragile balance. Besides Fushimi Roku, everyone was waiting for the police to arrive.

Logically, at this ti, so harsh words should be said, the victor should fiercely mock the loser, to make Fushimi Roku understand the consequences of provoking them. But nobody said a word; they silently watched the blood-drenched fellow, their hearts filled only with fear and apprehension.

... How did we encounter such a formidable lunatic? They should have known to keep away then.

If this were real, all the survivors would rember today’s lesson: encountering soone like Fushimi Roku, they would definitely avoid getting involved with them.

Only Minamoto Tamako didn’t think that way.

She was the only one present with no guilty conscience.

Minamoto Tamako’s gun-holding hand was very steady, she exchanged glances with Fushimi Roku, asking, "Now that I’ve captured you, you should atone for your sins."

Fushimi Roku took off his glasses; he wasn’t really nearsighted, just wanted to appear more professional. He carefully looked at Minamoto Tamako’s face, "Do we know each other?"

"We do." Minamoto Tamako nodded.

"But I don’t rember you," Fushimi Roku thought so more, "Indeed, I’ve never t you."

Minamoto Tamako said it wasn’t important; she understood Fushimi Roku, more accurately, understood Zhou Hao, knew what he wanted and what he was doing, which is why she ca to stop him.

Fushimi Roku listened quietly, faintly heard the shrill sound of police sirens downstairs, the residential building started to stir, outside the ga room was noisy. He wiped his lenses and said, "Perhaps I truly once bared my thoughts to you, but I lost mory and forgot... but you might have misunderstood sothing."

"Hmm?"

Minamoto Tamako had a bad premonition, she heightened her alertness, focused, aid at Fushimi Roku, ready to shoot without hesitation if he made a move!

"What I an by accepting any judgnt is that I’ll do whatever it takes to escape."

As soon as the words were spoken, Minamoto Tamako pulled the trigger; simultaneously, Fushimi Roku threw his glasses at her, blocking the gun’s trajectory!

The bullet discharged, shattered the glasses fra, shrapnel and lens fragnts flew, the trajectory deviated, and didn’t hit Fushimi Roku’s left leg.

The imitation 64 pistol barrel was coarse to begin with, plus the bullet was reloaded casing, the accuracy was predictably poor. Even though Minamoto Tamako was a sharpshooter, hitting two out of two shots was lucky enough.

Seizing the opportunity, Fushimi Roku rolled, using the overturned mahjong table as cover, crawled toward the window. Minamoto Tamako dared not approach rashly, only kept adjusting her angle, looking for a suitable shooting angle.

Minamoto Tamako hadn’t received professional indoor combat training, didn’t know how to handle an enemy behind cover.

In combat she realized again her skill was lacking, not just speed and accuracy but also tactical learning, handling sudden situations, utilizing terrain and objects for advantages...

Outside the ga room, footsteps sounded, soone shouted "Police are here," probably Sun Brother’s lookout underling. Minamoto Tamako’s palms were sweaty, she moved to the mahjong table’s side, but didn’t see Fushimi Roku.

Where is he?

With a loud crash, glass exploded, Fushimi Roku had moved to the window edge behind cover, smashed through the window glass, and jumped out right in front of everybody!

Everyone widened their eyes, face full of disbelief.
